Here you go for those who want to know The Coriolis effect is an apparent deflection of moving objects from a straight path when they are viewed from a rotating frame of reference. In layman's terms, it means that long range fire (artillery shells and sniper rounds) will not appear to fly in a straight line from the shooter to the target because of the rotation of the Earth on its axis.
Rather, the round or shell will appear to curve. In actuality, the shot is flying in a straight line but the turn of the Earth moves the target so it will look as if the round or shell is curving. Artillery gunners and snipers are well-trained to compensate for the Coriolis effect by actually not aiming directly at their target, but off to the side so that by the time the bullet makes it to the target distance, it has "curved" to hit the target
Theres a glitch in MW2, special ops. "Hidden" on Charile. Where you jump off a ccontainer.. and you can actually GET OFF the map. And you can get to this place where Zakhaev's arm got sniped off. Check it out on youtube "Out of the hidden" glitch mw2 spec ops
You didn't kill him 15 years ago, you shot his arm clean off his body. Somehow he managed to move right before he got shot in the head. Then, If you look at Zakheav 15 years later, his arm is off.
its the effect that the earth turns underneath your bullet and that makes the travel time a bit longer, depending on to angle you are from the nort pole, the earths rotation can be slightly forward and the the right from where you shoot, making you aim a bit down and to the left. hope that made sence to you.
WTF Zackaev isnt dead in modern warfare 3 it goes to a flashback of Yuri who is in the back seat of that jeep, and then Zakaev comes in through the door closest to us with a missing arm. That guy who ran to the car wasnt supposed to
Everyone didn't drive away,Just one car.The rest were moving to defensive positions. (If they did,the medical officer;s team would stay and tend to the wound.) =)
@zellersboy frist off check the vid slow mo it hits him in the lower jaw to ear second vapor trail from the bullet is at his head which means the wind is minor at best as for the rest of your comment thats the best dis you can dish out
@badturkali Cos when I played the game I woz 11. didn't speak much English back then. When I watched the video I suddenly realised that Macmillan's got a peculiar accent. I love the Scots though, especially their dialect.
lol, i blew him as he got away from the car, although i did 3 atempts to get him inside the car and failed before that,i guess they just dont let us, cos the wind was righ but the bullet just zinged left.
@wiehow maby im no pro but the odds of a glanceing hit and the target liveing from a 50cal round are slim to none but it is a game so any thing can happin
Ryan Smith I’m EXTREMELY late on this one, but hopefully you’ll see this. It’s the the effect of a planet spinning around it’s axel. So in this case, he means that because the distance is so big, you have to concider that the earth will spin a considerable amount during the time the bullet is in the air.
I work with a guy who's name is Imran and I call him "Zakhaev" lol. he played this game
-Don't shoot imran .
-Why ?
-Buy mw 3

the spin of the earth affects where the bullet will hit
donald trump
And we see him in Cold War im Young🤝
as you can see, you can see yuri with macerov in the truck
@zellersboy solar wind, it causes the bullet to be at five places at once in a parallel universe

wish real life was this simple...
i guess you dont get it, he get shoot right in the face, and his arm fly off
So that's the story of a POTATO PC
I just noticed that Macmillan's got a Scottish accent.
think cus the bullet dips a bit when ur far away from the target
no remember at the end of the game he was still alive its impossible to get a headshot
@icefeezy its part of the story, thats why he has no arm later in the game...
@Otaman1 he just lost him arm...like in COD WAW you shoot someone in face there legs flies off....and they grow more legs...
WTF Zackaev isnt dead in modern warfare 3 it goes to a flashback of Yuri who is in the back seat of that jeep, and then Zakaev comes in through the door closest to us with a missing arm. That guy who ran to the car wasnt supposed to
Daniel Stretch that was just a flashback zakhaev is dead for sure
How did he survive this damage?
@jokaboy555 well ya but not with an ordinary weapon, maybe a barret. 50 cal if u shoot directly in the bone
Everyone didn't drive away,Just one car.The rest were moving to defensive positions. (If they did,the medical officer;s team would stay and tend to the wound.) =)
because of the coriolis effect and gravity. it's just too far to make a direct, accurate shot.
360 NOSCOPE PEW!
To be a 360 noscope
he would need to rotate and dont aim
so
360 FAILSCOPE!
@zellersboy frist off check the vid slow mo it hits him in the lower jaw to ear second vapor trail from the bullet is at his head which means the wind is minor at best as for the rest of your comment thats the best dis you can dish out
Nice Shot
Told you bill sniper in war
How to zoom in on pc. Scrolling mouse doesnt work.
gave him a nose job lo!
wow.....I need to look closer...
SniPING AS ussual i see!
@pivotmaster950000000 The wind took the bullet to his right. A sniper that is as strong as the Barett .50cal can easily rip off somebodys arm.
1:40 LOL EPIC WIN XD
How to zoom out the aim of forward or backward
W and S
is it me or no matter where you shoot him, his arm just fly off im confused
How does shooting a heli pilot in the face, blow up the rotors?
Maby the dead guy pressed something
I don't get the point was that the real Imran Zakaev or not because you always shot a headshot dit he survived the shot or wasn't it him self
@demoniod121 You think they knew that was going to happen when they made MW1?
@badturkali
Cos when I played the game I woz 11. didn't speak much English back then. When I watched the video I suddenly realised that Macmillan's got a peculiar accent. I love the Scots though, especially their dialect.
