It has been a while since my last video. I binged The Great last weekend and I absolutely love it. It's so funny, ridiculous with the right amount of drama. I love Catherine and Peter. I usually like enemies to lovers, but at first i just... I could NOT get into them. He was just too much, and I know how this ends (uh, historical even though it's fiction) but then season 2 happened.

Grand Duke Petr & Grand Duchess Ekaterina loathed each other, they never slept together. he had a mistress and she had lovers. after six months on the Throne Tsar Petr Petrovitch was overthrown by Ekaterina and assassinated.
Peter was also the liberal one, he abolished the secret police and wanted to get rid of the death penalty.... However this is a far better story.
Which is why the show's tagline is "an occasionally true story" 😂
