I always love seeing new art supplies from brands I haven't tried 😍

I paint on the tops of my acrylic gouaches, not all the colours on the tubes match the paint inside plus it really does help with finding the colour you are looking for. Cause I keep mine in a box facing up so its like, “ah.. there is that pink I wanted” within seconds vs searching for it.😊 These Flashe paints do have such beautiful colours, added one to my cart for sure.

Love the colours I was able to find so far here at Blick :) My favourite colours so far are the Vermilion, Rose and Vert Veronese. ❤

I love these paints but they’re hard to find in Australia. I did stock up on a few when I was last in UK 💕

Sorry to hear that, I can imagine some brands are harder to find across the globe... Enjoy the ones you have :)

Hi, Thanks so much for this information and swatch it was really helpful. I am looking to get some of these instead of Holbein, its cheaper and you get more, plus i'm into doodling so the use of colored pencils and other mediums seems to work well on these. I have a couple questions though. What is the dry time, do they dry quickly? so is blending a bit of a challenge as they dry quickly and don't act like watercolor or gouache or the dry time is slow. And 2. what would be a good set of CMYK paints to start with. I see they have mixing set but it seems to be more rgb with primary red, primary yellow and primary blue. As opposed to a magenta and cyan. I see they have a magenta, and you suggested a japanese yellow light, but what would be a good cyan. Thank you!

Glad it was helpful! To your questions-
Drying time is fast, similar to refular acrylics, perhaps even faster as they are quite creamy (so you're not likely to put down thick layers like with heavy body paint or too runny and wet). I agree, the discovery set doesn't seem like the best choice unless you want those colors. For cyan-like I would probably go with either Phthalo blue (which is labeled as Bleu Hoggar) or their cerulean blue im. The first one is semi transparent, the second opaque, so I guess it's more of a personal preference if you're familiar with these colors. Personally I'm an ultramarine gal ;) (but that's not a CMYK, I know) Hope that helps!

Thank you for the quick response, I wasn't sure i'd get a response since the video is 7 months old and I was ok with no response lol. So, Big thanks. Yes, it does help. I actually did add both cerulean and ultramarine blue to my basket already. Thanks again I really appreciate it.

What happened to you with the raw siena happened to me with a jar of sepia. It was goopy and with chunks, I added a bit of water and stirred with a toothpick and it got better, but not as good as the rest. It may be old or faulty.
