Julian Wolf was born on September 27, 1998 in Radebeul, Saxony. He started playing drums at the age of three. Wolf has also been a guitarist since he was six years old. He was inspired by his father Jörg Wolf, who was an active guitarist in North Rhine-Westphalia. As an autodidact, Julian Wolf taught himself to play the guitar. The decisive factor for Wolf was the work “24 Nights” by British guitarist Eric Clapton, which motivated the young musician to actively make music.
On January 4, 2019, Wolf released his first solo album entitled “ Demos & Covers ” and presented it at 100 concerts as part of his European tour. After 18 individual shows and some private events, Wolf ended the year after 118 concerts in 11 countries, over 60 cities visited with more than 10,000 visitors and received the award for the best young musician in the Meißen district at the first Meißen Boogie-Woogie and Blues Night.
In January 2020, Wolf completed another European tour, which took him through Germany, Austria and Switzerland until mid-March. During the corona pandemic, the guitarist gave numerous online concerts, including in collaboration with the Sächsische Zeitung and the city of Dresden. Between May and October, Wolf performed more than 30 times in his home region and ended the year with a total of 53 live concerts. On October 13th, Wolf appeared on stage for the two hundredth time.
In 2021, Julian Wolf focused on concerts in his homeland. The guitarist performed more than 30 times in Dresden and the Elbe region. The musician also appeared increasingly in the media. He made live appearances on television shows and concert streams. A special highlight was the performance of selected original compositions at Albrechtsberg Castle for Jan Vogler's project “ Dreamstage ”, a virtual concert stage for experienced musicians from the Dresden area. After a few open-air events in the summer, Julian Wolf began his concert residency in the restaurant at the Saxon State Parliament.
In addition to 62 concerts in eight different Saxon cities and communities, Julian Wolf went on tour of Germany again in the summer of 2022, which took him to Bavaria, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein, among others. In addition to private concerts for Dynamo Dresden and Juwelier Wempe, among others, twenty-three residency concerts at the Saxon State Parliament were particularly popular. After a New Year's Eve concert in Dresden's old town, Julian Wolf ended the 2022 concert year after 72 performances.

    ABOUT TURN UP FOR RECOVERY
Turn up for Recovery is a charitable movement aiming to raise awareness of abstinence-based recovery, tackle the stigma of addiction and help make treatment affordable to people struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. The idea for Turn up for Recovery (TUFR) came to founder, Melia Clapton, she wanted to tackle the stigma around addiction and alcoholism and raise awareness about the power of abstinence based recovery. It’s a topic very close to her heart, having supported family members throughout their recovery. Her vision is for an inclusive community of artists, music lovers and those affected by addiction coming together to have a good time, talk about recovery and raise money for others to get the help that they need at Crossroads Centre Antigua. Melia announced the movement in September 2019 during Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival. It has been gaining momentum ever since.
