Yes, that's Ren playing piano at the beginning! He also composed the music for piano and strings! He directed the video and produced the music/audio. It was recorded live but it's not quite 1 take. They had to make a single edit, before the water, for obvious reasons. Yet another incredible performance from Ren! Overall, an absolute masterpiece... again! :)

watched a lot of your Ren reactions.. not usually an issue but you have major Audio issues on this one as others have said its clipping and distorted (im on headphones good ones at that ) not only that not so sure you need to worry about the last scene if it breaks guidelines then there is much worse out there which is still on show !
The audio on this one was terrible for sure. Nothing that can be fixed now of course but hopefully he figured out what went wrong for future videos as it was a painful listen to a great song.

You need to watch to watch Part 1 & 2 appreciate this fully. And to know this isn't just gratuitous violence for the sake of it (Ren's above that. That's not how he gets his kicks). This is wholly acceptable in the parametors of the story and as a piece of art.
I think he's well known enough now that it doesn't really matter about the algorithms. Look at how many people are creating reaction videos to his content. Although some of the content may be on the edge of community guidelines, he is still speaking the truth and people like that and share what he does. Always enjoy your analogy of his songs.

I don't know on your assessment about the views. This is already at 1.5 million after 6 days. For reference, Murderer is only at 1.9 million after 2 months. Su!cIde is at 1.9 million after 4 months, and Animal Flow is at 2.2 million after 5 months. So unless the views for this just fall off of a cliff because of the algorithm, this has a chance to at least be his biggest song in the last 6 months. Even if it only gains another 700 thousand views or more. Beyond that is Sick Boi, 8 months ago with 4.5 million views, and Hi Ren 10 months ago with 20 million views. I don't know if it has that kind of steam and I don't think he cares. I don't either. I'm just enjoying watching him push himself as an artist and staying true to his vision. As long as he does that, I'll keep showing up.

You're right. But for some? It's not so easy. It depends on programming and how their brain works. I think you totally misunderstand Ren and his music, he is the only modern day bard alive today IMOP. His best works are all 1st or 3rd person perspectives. His music is comment on modern day life like no one has done for a very long time. He is showing you the worst of modern society and sometimes the best.
