- This is a quick little guide that takes you on a tour of Calpheon and surrounding area to show you what contribution mission I do every day in Black Desert Online.

First thing I do when I log in, is to ask in chat if BDO is pay to win, then watch as 50 people start screaming at each other, while I sort my things out.
Be sure to use roleplay chat for it.

The protester you just wait until he starts moving, when he does so you can just run to the npc you need to bring him to. He'll start moving faster.

I know it's quite an old video and someone probably has already said this but @5:15 when you want to get to the roofs just jump up the very first right hand side red tent, you can get up it there and onto the roofs much faster

Just a note maybe dont put the cheesy elevator music/ingame noise on the video while your talking it makes it hard to hear you

Heya. If you want to get the most out of the dailies you should first use a bit of energy. Most of the dailies give energy back.

It hurts watching you walk arround with full energy, doing dailys that give you extra energy! XD
This feels so dystopian, repeating the same menial tasks every single day for virtual points. It's the kind of thing into which they'd plug hospice-bound seniors while they wait to die.
I guess it would've been nice to mention level requirement at the beginning of the video but overall pretty useful. I didn't know about that stuff around catfish, level 41 at the moment so i guess i'll wait

don't have to collect them everyday. They are saved there. I think I'm to 7 daily log in right now in the Reward window
Thanks for this video. It gives me a good idea of what I should be doing each day as I level up. My question: Is the ultimate goal of the game to eventually complete all the quests like if you were playing skyrim/another rpg? Most games, the focus is usually based on a sense of accomplishment through getting stronger gear, killing bigger bosses, growing your wealth, etc... but since there are only so many quests (so far, but I'm only lvl20)that offer gear or money, I'm trying to get an idea of the big picture. Is there a ton of back story in questing so if I do every quest I'll unravel a story like in a singleplayer or are quests just minor slice of life tasks for extra inventory slots, contribution xp and quality of life rewards?
Is there a level req for the "quick and dirty" Calpheon quests? Exactly Zero of the quests you did for contribution popped for me.
+Jonathon Trapp If you already have the quests selected they might be in your inventory. Or you may not have done the prerequisite missions. Or some of the quests might not be visible until you click the icon for other quests or click the all icon.
+Jonathon Trapp Make sure you check the show all missions button in your quest log. If you don't you will only see certain types of missions.
+Jonathon Trapp Higher than level 39 for the Calpheon missions, at least as near as I can tell. Couldn't see them at 39 but can at 40
+salidarx darn. I just started like 3 days ago and I'm only level 30 (Which from what I've researched is that in 3 days people can make 50, no problem.. guess I'm slow)

I guess if you look at it in at sense. But in my opinion it's just his daily routine, which is pretty much damn near close to what I do every day before I grind mobs and pray the RNGeaus to drop me something lol.

+R6ex u don't know how much contribution you're missing out on for just a few seconds of parkouring lol unless u mean not playing the game altogether, which then you're missing out on a lot :P

it is pretty true that these small quests take up a significant portion of our time.
Doubtful, as some one who just started playing about 2 weeks ago, I can absolutely see what he is saying. You almost feel required to do some stuff when you log on, instead of optional stuff too try and do. I'm also playing "casual" but this has been one of the most casually active games I have played.

Do you have any text issues where the text is difficult to read or it's very jagged? The Japanese version definitely has it, so i'm really curious if the US version is not plagued by this.

+John Lee Ungriano The Black Spirit is what makes players different than the NPCs and why we are so much better than everyone else. Ofcourse, the Black Spirit is technically bad, the lore of it is quite interesting too. I actually like the voice of the Black Spirit. It reminds me of demented characters in Animes.

+thePaindog Im currently downloading the game and am super stoked to start playing it, I love playing the support roles of usually a healer or an off tank but I've heard there isn't really a true healer, but that a Valkary is the closest thing. Is this true?
+Scott Jersak valkyrie is the tankiest of all classes and the most support like with the spells. Witch/wizard has a heal though, but they're more AOE damage monsters.
+Scott Jersak Wizard/Witch is a good support but not because of heals, though it does have one. Valkarie only has self-heal and then supports differently. It is by far the tankiest class because Warrior is shit and needs a buff. Maybe the Awakening for Warrior will change that. We can only hope.
