@@Anonymous-tr6pc do fruit trees and allotments and herb patches. Don’t forget about the hardwood trees on fossil island. Do all of those and you’ll get to 70 for Song of The Elves pretty fast. Less than a week I think. Especially if you’re diligent with your herb and allotment runs.

@Paz na bro not cool I hate it I got serious addiction problems it really affects my life holds me back, I do try I work hard lift weights i looks healthy on outside but on inside I'm dying sometimes I'm a monster when i dont smoke weed I use it more as medication instead of poping prescription pills, my main goal is to be clean I dont touch alcohol or any other drugs I hate tobacco, I've just got a fair size pay out for an accident i had last year so I'm gonna use that as motivation to get clean and straight I did it between 2014 and 2016 and I was a different person so I know its achievable, runeacape helps alot where it's so time consuming takes my mind off other stuff makes me not smoke as much, I only replied because its embarrassing like I'm tryna brag about smoking weed I'm 28 years old its not a good look anyway, I hope you have a nice day mate, sorry for crazy long reply LOL

Some things worth mentioning are cacti and poison ivy bushes. The patches for these are very easy to access with teleports next to each. Poison ivy can’t die, and the seeds are dirt cheap. It also covers calquat protection costs. There’s a cactus patch in the farming guild if you don’t wanna plant any others, and it will regrow spines once you grow it once. Spines are good for patch protection or profit.

    • @UnknownVir
      @UnknownVir 2 года назад

Not so much good profit anymore and the exp from harvesting poison ivy is basically not worth it.
White berries make more sense if you want some profit.
Cactus spines are worth a lot less now but cacti for pet chance is still worthwhile.

Tip: When unlocking Hosidius favor by creating fertilizer, if you want to speed up the process you can manually click saltpetre to each bucket of compost in the inventory instead of waiting for it. It's great clicking practice and its 5x faster. I suggest setting your x amount to 4 in the bank, alternate clicking each mat 3 times to stagger them in your inventory for closer clicking, only filling up 24 slots, rinse repeat.
I did all 950 to get 100% favor in like 15 mins.

It adds some time onto runs but doing herbs and planting snape grass bring in some nice profit and a round of snape grass can get you like 20k exp additional. Also, since a lot of people farm specifically to get the pet it’s worth working mushrooms, cactus, belladonna and seaweed into your run as soon as you have the levels to do it as they are some of the highest pet rates. I separated my seaweed and mahogany runs into their own run while doing birdhouses to make it one stop going to fossil island

Just a heads up, it's also definitely possible to get 99 farming without ever doing tree runs in 60 days, while making many millions in profit.
After level 85 Torstol+Snapegrass will get you more exp per patch than papaya patches, which is basically just equivalent to being able to do a profitable fruit tree run every 1-1.5 hours.
I didn't realize it could be so fast and profitable with minimal effort and time in game.

Could you do a farming guide that doesn't exclusively use tree runs, but also allotments/herbs/bushes/etc?

Good guide, but I have to disagree on the cheapest path. My only 99 right now is farming and it made me close to 200m.

You could also introduce the hespori run which will give you lots of xp, and is really easy and free + drops. Then you can plant the kronos seeds that cut the grow time of your crops, which can speed up your xp (especially for the ones that take awhile to grow).

    • @Son96601

you can't buy hespori seeds though.

I'm surprised he's not mentioning torstol herb runs. Not only are they almost as profitable as doing ranarrs, I get 17k experience per run and can do a run every 1 hr or so. They are by a wide wide margin the best way to get your level up once you unlock torstols

Great guide! A few additional notes:
    - You only have to start mourning's end p1 to access lletya
    - You can reduce the cost of doing high level tree runs (yew, magic, papaya, dragonfruit) by forgoing the expensive protection payments, ultra-composting them, and doing either or both of the following:
a.) Planting Iasor Anima seeds from hespori in the Farming guild (reduces the chance of disease), tree runs give you plenty of hespori seeds.
b.) Using the 'resurrect crops' spell on the arceuus spellbook to save most of the few trees that do die.
Just doing 'a' reduces the chance of death for fruit trees and magic tress to %4 and %9 respectively. Doing 'a' & 'b' cut those chances in half or more again depending on your magic level. This method saves you all of the money you'd have put into protection payments at the cost of slightly slower xp and handful of dead trees on the way to 99.

Consider a farming guide for combat-restricted accounts. Such as level 3s that can’t do certain quests and diaries and don’t have access to certain patches, equipment, or tools.

With higher level trees such as dragonfruit & magic if you do your farming run when you wake up you can sometimes squeeze one in before you go to sleep depending on your sleeping pattern. i.e. do one at 8am then again at 12am.
