Bajaj has launched a 250cc motorcycle for the first time under its own brand name. Although there are other 250cc motorcycles within the KTM-Bajaj-Husqvarna family, this motorcycle comes from the Dominar family which is a sport-touring motorcycle. Adding one more to the 250cc portfolio, the Dominar is definitely a motorcycle to look forward to. It does look like its elder sibling, the Dominar 400 but has a skinnier lower half. Ya can we actually re map the ecu to get the same power as the Duke 250 this improving performance..what would it cost

I don't agree about the mirrors usability because stiff mirrors are really good , if u set your mirror once it won't change the angle easily 😉

5:39 the speedometer reads 140 yet you mentioned the top speed to be 132👏👏 well done
132 kmph is the top speed shown by the vbox and it's more accurate than the speedometer on the bike.
Wastage absolutely, the outcome is less, if i can spend 1.85 on road, i can give more 50k for Aluminium swingarm, Better USD, better console, 400 cc, 40 bhp, better stability, wider tyre, and almost same milage like 250.

@@soukatroy i agree, but just think they are offering very less. It should priced around 1.6 on road max. A bike look a like D400 doesn't mean it will perform the same. Its an excessive overweight machine, u can call it a manufacturing fault which they will rectify in next version, like Bajaj do with its all bikes. 50k savings is needed some more months to get your D400, for a best sports tourer 😊
It's just 35k more than NS200 which lacks dual channel ABS, slipper clutch and USD. So I don't think it's overpriced. Even mt15 goes for over 1.7lakh

My friend clocked this @160kmph yesterday after first servicing..i was amazed to see its comfort and performance..I have already booked but its out of stock now.. every domi 250 has been sold in my state...

before i bought my duke, the bajaj & KTM showrooms are adjoined where i live and i test rode them back and forth.... i am upgrading from my father's 150cc motorcycle, hence granted even the Dominar 250 seemed impressive and the Dominor 400 felt phenomenal....but after i test rode the Duke 250, i mean lets just put the Dominar 250 out of the equation first...don't get me wrong...Dominar 250 is the biggest VFM you can get in any motorcycle, but i had the budget to flex, and after riding it's older & bigger sibling, the dominor 250 just vanishes out of the equation...so now to settle between the Dominar 400 & the Duke, let me admit it straight away, the Dom 400 is a better VFM product, its faster and yes it has better LEDs and to put the cherry on top, it's even cheaper than the Duke 250 making it the ultimate all rounder....but, my friend...i don't know what it is...once you ride the Duke 250, be it the handling, the looks and hence the oomph that comes with it..the fit and finish and thereby the built quality.....i can't exactly point a finger on what it is, but the moment you ride it, it just puts a wide ass smile to your face, all that practicality and VFM quotient just fades away, for me at least it felt like that click moment, i gotta own/ride one of these or i'll not ride at all....thats the magic of these KTMs...and i swear i am no KTM fanboy...we have had honda's in our family mostly...the dom 400 is mighty mighty impressive and a better value proposition, but if value is not what you're looking for, but rather character and excitement, then the Duke sweeps you off your feet like no other...

The D250 does not have a lot of vibes to begin with. (Although the 400 is far better)
need to be sitting on the bike and then placing the bottle in the centre.
edge pe rakhoge toh but naturally girega hi.
Expect some vibes atleast from a single cylinder.
Also about the mirrors, want something sturdy but want to adjust it on the go isn't possible.
The D400 gives me a mileage of 32-35kmpl doing speeds of 100+
and in the city i get around 24-28kmpl easily.
Bajaj although for sure ruined their own brand by launching the d250 and instead should've gone for a NS250 and it would sell like hot cakes.

5:42 it will more than that. I drove my Pulsar 200 NS at 150KM speed. Yes my bike start shaking heavily but it has the capability to reach 150
I am just wondering... the 220f was better in the 0-100 run also it does a 140-150....just wondering why bajaj brought these without better weight reduction.... It may be okish for ppl who luk for latest of specs on paper...but on the road i think it serves only for city purposes..... Moreover the vibration of bs6 220f is more contained on a similar bottle vibration test compared to this video......

I recently bought a dominar 250 ..and i have no complains except the skinny tyres...my one question is..can I upgrade the tyres to 110/70 and 150/60 sections through after market after the inbuilt ones worns out??
I saw the feedback on this in some other channel. As per him, you can do it but as the rims are specifically designed for the allotted tyres, the ones with increased width would take a more circular shape and hence the road grip would suffer which can be dangerous. I think it makes sense.

Your vibration testing method is wrong. You should be testing how much the water vibrates, not the frictional coefficient between the bottle base the wet plastic tank. Downvoted!

6.36 vibrations check ? Come on mann......it's a petrol engine and people love its engine sound and not a electric motor cycle to make water bottle stand. Moreover the stand makes the bike to vibrate...try without stand u can see the diff.
The only real 250 missing now is the CBR 250. Hope honda brings it back.

I am 5.4 and it's a little bit of difficult for me also to manage the bike as well. So u might not able to manage properly in city traffic
