You're right. It's about a boy's domestic abuse from his father. And they are still bringing out new music. Please react to Moth into flame from their most recent album to see how insane they're still playing. The song has a great video too!

They are all in their mid fifties now so would have been in their 40s here. They are all around the same age even the long haired bass player.
New songs: "Spit Out The Bone" and "Moth Into The Flame"
This song is like "One #2": Many swich-ups, strong riffs; first part is more like an power ballad, then the second part - mix of heavy metal, thrash metal and a little bit of progressive metal!!!! It has awesome harmonizing solo by James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett etc.!
