This is just superb, been searching for "ideal breeding age for boer goats" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Chloetey Boer Goatify - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my m8 got great results with it.
goats are a lot more succeptible to parasitic worms than sheep as they dont have a nuatural resistance, scours arent always worms but it can be an indication, we now do regular F.E.C tests to get our accurate worm count and wether we need to drench or not.
In short yes they could but with selective breeding encouraging the dappling, but in Australia it wouldn’t meet breed standard so you wouldn’t be able to register it as a stud animal, same for South Africa it would be a cull defect. I’m not sure of the breed standards in the USA they may allow it as they do seem to like the dappled goats.
Interesting video. I think I'll be spending some time here. I am assuming the blue makeover is so you can tell at at a glance which buck has been with which doe. Either that or you are trying to make a fashion statement, in which case it's not working 😂 Would like to reconsider about 2021🙁

Hi there, yes we deed keep the buck separated until he dried up, we treated him with an antiscour paste until he was over it then put him back with the Mob. it only took a couple of days and he was back with them and in fine fettle!

i can sell you one of my really nice boer goat stands they work great you dont have to bend down and hold them still and get wet..you just hook em up en wash or trim there fur or hooves

What do you feed the goats to make them fat like that because i feed mines alot and they still become skinny or has some swollen hole near their butt i need some tips i would really appreciate it. ❤And last thing, do you shave them or anything like that so the skin looks great and clean??

Nice goat. I just want to ask if a full blood Boer goat can produce a dappled offspring? Because in the US they have a full blood dappled Boer goat.

Whole grain barley works well and is cost effective you just need to add a buffer so they don’t get grain poisoning or bloat
