So grateful for the scholarship of Esau and other black voices the past 5+ years. For a long time I thought we would only hear white theological voices, many of whom I love and enjoy, but the unique richness that Esau, Vince Bantu, and many others who've been on Jude 3 bring to the table is just mind blowing.

Brother, Dr. Esau, spoke truth! Truth, truth!

I'm pretty sure when I first began preaching and speaking a little over 10 years ago that I had not properly processed the trauma of divorce at that time. I feel like I was guilty of exactly what Esau stated, almost using the mic as a way to retaliate using a method that most people would consider positive, "preaching."

You two burst through the sagacity quota on this episode, and that's saying a lot given how many great conversations you've both had together and with others in the past. This is edifying in the original sense of the word, beyond measure. Thank you.

    We don't get to -10 from -2, we keep compromising. -1, -3, - 5, ect.
Consider the book "Shaped by Suffering" by Ken Boa.
Good podcast with a truth that we all need to hear. Thank you for this conversation.
