    I'm a sucker for black on black Jazz with maple board. Throw in the black block markers and forget it, ya got me! But I have to say, that natural ash with maple board really tonally popped out at me. Pretty easy on the eyes too. My picks: 1 - Natural ash body, maple board. 2 - Black alder, maple board. But honestly, you can't lose with any of them. Best deal going.

    • @richardmilligan1410
      @richardmilligan1410 4 года назад

      Agree. I wanted to like the black one but it's tone was not as good as the natural ash one finger style.

  • @enzoloveless132
    @enzoloveless132 3 года назад +2

    So basically Alder/Ebony for a 60s JB or Ash/Maple for a 70s JB (I think most people like the snappy feel of the 70s bridge position and the smoothness of the 60s)
