Man im playing a Mistweaver and an HPal this season.. and the sheer AMOUNT of healingspells it takes to get ppl up as an Hpal when as a Mistweaver u just fistweave the group up im in shock that blizz hasnt buffed holypowerspenders at least 50%
I always try to play hpala because it's my favorite, I raised it to 3k1 this s4 and I felt very frustrated having to squeeze my head to 400% to be able to heal certain dungeons... however with my monk 503 I started playing it just recently 2 weeks and I'm already doing 11s. It's absurd how easy it is to heal with classes other than paladin
@pokket_gaming I had a rag player go on a rant about how he didn't understand the bias against his server, and halfway through the key he said "gotta go" and went offline.
I'm a much-less skilled HPally, running keys +2 to +5, and I can't believe the hubris on some pug tanks. Double or triple pulling. And then I look at their best for the dungeon and they haven't made that key yet, just +++ on some other instance. And then it's almost always my bad, even when basic interrupts are being missed. PS you use Vuhdo, I've had to disable auto-targeting to be able to link my beacons, is that normal?
Agree with you. Afflicted is not a healer affix, there are more important things to dispel in high keys then afflicted for a healer. If a healer has to use their dispel on afflicted, and a dot goes on a dps at +13-15, that dps is dead.
Thank you for recognizing you were participating in the toxic "meta" mentality and then changing your behavior. That's pretty awesome to see a m+ player with that type of self awareness to their own behavior.
Blossom is a really good trinket. I was using it at the beginning of S4 and it did a lot of overall healing. But people aren't taking it because it doesn't offer the utility of other trinkets like the Fyrakk's trinket (For survivability in high keys) and it doesn't give main stat, it only gives haste. (In Season 4 a geared character has a ton of secondary stats, main stat goes a lot further) So I wouldn't say it's bad, it does a lot better in raiding than M+, however, there are better trinkets.
Yeah dont look at meters to find the best trinket, main stat provides a huge amount of healing, the haste is super nice for hpali but you get alot of haste from gear anyways. It is truly great for raid and nice for m+ if dont have anything else. Tyr and tome are my fav trinkets
There are a ton of things like BoF dispells for every class that you're just miraculously supposed to know without anyone telling you. There are certain groups you can skip with my priest mindsoothe + a warlock gate. I didn't even have it on my bars when the tank in a +7 suddenly said soothe skip and then flamed me for not immediately getting it...
I always enjoy playing non meta specs more. Its much more satisfying, yes its more difficult but i find tier lists make people think specs are terrible, ive gone full non meta and im playing affliction warlock. Its by no means the best but its playable and competitive.
Warrior tanks believe it or not are the 2nd best tank rn for this season based off of subcreation they just obviously not overly picked bc dh is busted
What is this party frames you are using ? Mine dosen't show the glimmers on the group x). (New hpally here btw) and 3rd boss from HoI and last from RLP/Uld make me stop blinking 😂.

Ya I am not healing the other Afflicted. Nope. No way. I'll find a new group. xD Also, healing it on a Hpal is just not practical. It takes 3-4 Flash of Lights to heal it up. Which is crazy because you can 1 Flash Heal it on a Hpriest.
9:36 You had HoJ up and there's a bar in the middle of the screen telling you the Scepter is casting its AoE so that's kinda on you, lol. You should probably also have Blinding Light talented and can just slam that when you see it casting the AoE.
Great vid. ggs - really cool to see HPal gameplay. For the AV key, I think people put way too much focus on grouping the crystals for the last boss though. Even if you are tanking him on the ground but next to the edge, they still end up being very close 9/10 times and you have a SP that cleaves all off them any way (at most he gotta dot one individually) and he can just prio the one that is off. Not having to move as much is a way bigger dps (and hps) advantage there than having them sit perfect. I feel like that way of tanking him is meant for the absolute highest level of keys, where you know everybody is so good at the game that the orbs are irrelevant. We will even stop dps for 5sec for the 2nd one if needed to move the boss to a clean spot - it's the only thing that kills you there, the 1st set is free anyway, so it's well worth a few secs to reposition for the 2nd and 3rd imo.
The tank in the video runs with is often and we told him to go up there but that was our first and last time. Haha I agree with you. We focus more on timing the crystals and waiting for DPS CDs if we need to. I think the spot is a little over rated.
Title isn’t possible for an average player. The moment you reach even close to title you’re a lot better than 99% of ppl. Change my mind. You become better on your journey. But I don’t think it’s generally possible for an after work Andy to reach title within 1 season.

its nuts how easy or hard the last boss of vaults is depending on your tank.
In Uldaman you can precast that freedom. Does no dmg.
Rag/Quel players, regardless of io, are never invited to my groups. Its a shame but those SA servers have the worst player base.
I had a buddy of mine receive a 3 day ban for typing "no Ragnaros players" in his LFG queue. Lol
I add Azralon, and Nemesis to that list. It sucks but man the dice roll on if they're just gonna brick the key isnt worth it.

100% Doing low keys with afflicted is way worse than high keys because many people don't understand that. haha

back in SBG we had a hunter leave a +22 key, we wiped first pull and he left, we ended up 4 manning the rest and STILL timed it

hey - can you explain why no healers using Blossom of Amirdrassil trinket? I used it in season 3 and this one gave me a lot of my heal overall.

Man, I bet getting into groups is so rough. But, to be honest, a skilled non-meta players is still better than an unskilled meta player.

Dps who don't spec into a dispel on afflicted week get kicked from my groups before the key starts.

I think warrior damage and survival is insane they just don't have 4 sigils to stun/silence everything. Haha That's what is making them so good.

Ya I just learned that! So you can dispel and use Blessing of Freedom and get 2 of the DoTs off.
