It dawned on me after a minute or two why this video seemed rather surreal. It was shot I think at the height of the pandemic in almost deserted streets. Usually these London streets would be teeming with people and traffic. The near absence of these, chill music and great photography make this special. Very nice.
OK, so, I'm working and there's this groovy music playing and after a while I switch browser tabs to see what it is and it was this. RUclips autoplayed it after the video I was watching. Anyway, thank you, it is as described... very relaxing....subscription confirmed....🤣
I really enjoy using 4k walk in a city video for inspiration and concept studies, but adding POV photography really adds that extra layer to improve your own photo craft. Thanks for the video and wonderful photographs!
What a video to start the 1st day in 2021, so relaxing, music is very easy for the ears. Videos and pictures are just your usual brilliantly well done put together work of art. Enjoy this so much, thanks a lot. Cheers and happy new year.
Roman, more of these kinds of videos, please! I'm addicted. The music is super chill, the photography is awesome, and the presentation is pleasant. I appreciate the work you put into these videos, all of them.
One of the most beautiful videos to start this 2021 with, a harmony between sound and image that leads our eyes to think of a story behind each shot; telling how a city has faced the "moment" that we're still living. Thanks Roman and happy new year :) Greetings from Italy!
Great video thanks Roman, very familiar with these walks but you manage to pick out so many interesting views I wouldn't have thought about. Looking forward to autumn and winter and that lower sun :-)
Hello Roman! Thanks a lot for this video! To study, work or relax? Hell no I'm watching this with a popcorn on stopping and rewinding at every photo! You are a real inspiration. Your photographic style is so beautiful! You capture scenes just like they are without going heavy on the colors and edits and yet it shows that they are professional grade. Your video about stopping to move every slider like an idiot in Lightroom has been such an eye opener for me because 1. I realized how much common sens this advice is and 2. how bad my edit were before because I was moving everything everywhere. God I only wish I had at least a tiny fraction of your talent. Keep these long videos coming please!
I just love your POV videos!I Don't even see a Go Pro on your gear list, this is so nice to have these beautiful videos and then you show us how you ascertained the photograph! Its encouraging for a beginner not to go overboard thinking we need a separate POV camera. Your teaching videos are just great!
What an amazingly inspiring video. Thanks for creating and sharing this. Feels like the best hands on in street photography while being very ASMR at the same time.
Wow Gary that's a fabulous gift!🎉 You will have to make your cuz a photo book for thanks. Amazing enjoy your journey with your Leica system. Keep up the good content
This video is fantastic! I can only hope you do more of these in 2021. I'm currently doing a retouch of a portrait now and this video is making my retouch so much better.
Whenever somebody asks why i think digital street photography is cheap and lacks skill, this is what i think of. Just smashing the "shutter" button and spamming a scene. At this point, this type of photography is all about having the capable camera and having recognition for certain scenes. But, this is why film photography will always reign supreme and im grateful for that. Keep it up...
Absolutely brilliant video. Can I ask what focus mode u use when shooting street ,is it continuous af with 3x3 grid??and do u select a custom af setting?
Dude … you envision yourself living in a new place … this is what I have been doing since my childhood! Brotha from anotha motha! Great job on the video!!
Love this video. It's great you've combined 2 hours of relaxing music with street photography POV. Gonna watch this later in bed.. Great channel by the way, I love how you put a visual up of your focus area before each shot.
Just wanted to drop by and say that I just love this video format and your content in general. This is so lovely for the home office in the background. And while working at the same time, you can watch the same video multiple times as you are likely to see new images every time. Cool!
Man, when I see how you take these shots, how you approach those scenes, I realize how many good opportunities I have missed haha. Also, happy to see photos of London - on my last trip before COVID arrived I went to London with my dad right after Chrismas 2019 - seeing the lettering of Marble Arch on that bus just put a big smile on my face. Thanks a lot for sharing!
You are a total inspiration. I am going to India to visit a friend; previously I would have taken obvious photos / videos, but you have made me see how to capture moments differently. Question - have you thought of visiting countries such as India / Thailand etc where there is an abundance of colour - it is quite breathtaking. Just hope I don't blow the colours out :) Video is also key there though, as the sound of traffic is part of the experience.
Another one is you need full frame to get great photos. While full frame nice to have it’s not needed even in low light conditions. Knowing your craft is the most important part of making good photos. Because at the end of the day that’s what a good photographer does is make photos. Thanks for the informative videos sir, it’s really appreciated.
Great stuff as usual mate, i had a long walk around London on Friday from covent garden to tower bridge with the camera, i had a beer or two on the way :)
@@snapsbyfox I’ve taken my son and his friend all over the country to supercar shows and events, always comes back to the 911 for me though. I’ve taken some nice photos of smart Porsches in London, love walking round Knightsbridge with my camera. We will have to meet up after lockdown.
So relaxing love this style of video! Great job and amazing photos, can I ask what you used to film the walk around process and were you using a gimbal? It’s so smooth! 👌🏼
thanks for the your interesting video. Could you please tell me why do you prefer xt4 not xpro3 for street photography? If you already mentioned about it in your previous review, let me know which one to watch
You guys should’ve said what type of cameras you use to shoot all of this photograph and videos of England. I’ve been there and I’ve taken a lot of pictures and I want to go back.
Hi there huge fan here! May I ask how do you get no camera shake when walking and taking pictures? Is this something that you have mastered over time? Thank you 😊

Day 2 of listening....song of the year for sure........
The city, the people and the architectures of London are amazing. I've learned a lot about composition. Thank you.
Thank you, mate, for this trip around London. Brings memories.

Quality, absolute quality 😊
This is the quietest I've ever seen these areas.

Another great video, I went London last Sunday and finally visited the barbican Centre, wow what a place to do photography.
Perfect. I've often had your videos or other POV videos on while editing my photos. Having a long video with no talking is perfect.
I just love your POV videos!I Don't even see a Go Pro on your gear list, this is so nice to have these beautiful videos and then you show us how you ascertained the photograph! So amazed on how you see things from the boring things to final composition and color. vision is really is the key. thanks man.
26:28 Those workers must've been paid actors. Wonderful shot!
What an amazingly inspiring video. Thanks for creating and sharing this. Feels like the best hands on in street photography while being very ASMR at the same time.
Happy New Year.... So miss going down to London... Great Vlog, sure inspires me to get down there as soon as restrictions are lifted! 👌🏻

So sick mate, your videos have given me the courage to venture into london by myself and get started in street photography. Hopefully see you around!

This must have taken some time to put together-thanks for doing it. Cannot wait to get back to London. Happy New Year from the US!
Incredible piece of teaching... Right here.

A fool is a fool, and nowadays it's a fashion to think everyone is great, but in fact it's compressed air.
This is brilliant Roman, took some to put together I bet. 🤘✊
This was amazing! Great videography and photography. What camera did you use?
Awesome Music, was editing my pics in the same time. Awesome vid also of course. You have a good taste.

That was beautiful and super relaxing. Thank you for that. What lens did you use? Subbed :)
hey...i think background music is not match with your picture, and you had batter insert camera shoooting sound when you take picture
Beautiful 🙌🏽
This is fab!
Great shots. Love this! My POVs never look this stable. What’s your secret?
I used my phone on a gimbal for some and a GoPro Hero 9 for others... they shaky ones were phone handheld
Loving the video. What camera and lens did you use?
2 hours? Oh yeahh :D
