Great question! He’s Not paralyzed but extremely stiff! His syndrome affects all aspects of his life- growth/ physical characteristics, mental development and range of motion in his joints. His body is very stiff mostly related to low muscle tone and directly related to his syndrome. Therapy helps a ton with mobility in the body but he will always have to work hard and stretch to have good mobility in his joints!

Hadn't thought of that until you mentioned, yes you are correct, he is holding his head upright more. I noticed in his last vid that he's gained weight, his legs are no longer thin, much more thick now.

Even the way his feet he places his feet has improved. He's making progress with movement overall. He's doing great and it's because of Geo and you. It's cool seeing him doing a little head bopping. Some people need structure and routine. I'm glad you're recognizing that changes in routine aren't the end of the world and are doing things to cope. That is awesome! U both do a great job and r always so patient. I love love how u r constantly talking to him, asking him questions, getting him used to conversing! In my ICU patients who are sedated, paralyzed, medicated, I always come in to the room and speak to my patients just as if they were having a conversation with me. I tell them what time it is,the weather outside, even reading the funnies and horoscopes! I truly believe it helps encourage verbalization and really stimulates them! I’m a new subscriber but I’m really inspired by your family’s love and dedication to Sebastian!!! ❤🤘🏻🎸🥁

Anxiety is so tough and we know you have a great routine for your little guy. But I keep thinking about your Mexico vacation where your schedule had to be more flexible, and he seemed to do so well. All that stimulation seemed to bring out great reactions in him. I hope school will do the same. Maybe his curriculum could include music, movement and dancing. Then during dinner he added a little drama when he had to wipe away a tear. After watching Sushi Night, I realized Sebastian has developed quite a fan club. My little brother liked the car washer he used to call it the ‘fiddy roller’. However I don’t like them after having a door opened by the rollers during my teens and therefore anxiety making for me… Lovely to watch Sebastian being stimulated by it as my brother did.😊❤
