Hi Stephanie - i’m a virologist and I support whatever decision you make regarding Sebastian’s medical care. Sebastian is not like other kids and I understand the reservations about vaccinating him. On the contrary, there are a lot of nasty diseases that can harm him due to his compromised immune system, more so than the potential complications a vaccine might cause. But in the end, it’s all up to you and Gio with the advice of his medical team. Either way, I support your decision. You are his mama and his advocate and no one should shame you for whatever you choose.
This is my 2cents. You do what’s best for your son & your family. Me personally we got our kids the least vaccines possible. When they came in the schools to give Gardasil, we choose not to vaccine our kids, pediatricians tried to push it, but we said no. We (as a family) also didn’t get the Covid vaccine, because the unknown side effects, we also don’t receive any flu vaccines. You just have to go with your gut & what you think is best for you & your family.
We are in the same boat at you in terms of questioning the whole vaccination schedule. It’s a lot for a little body and after lots of research, I skip them until my mother gut says otherwise. With that being said, I whole heartedly, I support each parent doing what they feel is right for their child. In our state, we can do conscientious objections in order to send our kids to school. If you decide to vaccinate him or not, you are his mom. You do what’s best for him. I pray for your clarity! Either way, I still love your family and your adorable blessing of a boy! Thank you for sharing him with us!
Thank you so much for this comment. It means so much to me to see people allowing space for this type of conversation in such a kind way. I’m so thankful for our family on here. Thank you ❤️
I am 69 years old, which is a good indicator of where the vaccination process was when I was little. My son is 46 and he did have all of his vaccinations and when his daughter was of school age she could not attend without proof of vaccinations. Skip forward to when she has a daughter and she does not believe in vaccinations. She has educated herself on the subject and is firm in her decision. Even though I disagree, I respect her decision not to vaccinate. I am just watching you drive and talk about the subject and I am tearing up listening to you. Actually, a few drops are sliding down my cheeks. God bless. Being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother has helped me understand that although none of us have all the answers, every decision made for our children is made with the best of intentions and out of love.
Stephanie - whatever you and Gio decide about vaccines is, of course, entirely up to you. I think your idea of talking with health professionals whom you trust is excellent. You will do right for your (our) sweet Sebastian and I will support you all the way. ❤
You and Gio are amazing parents and whatever you decide will be the best for Sebastian. Just as an aside, I had two sisters who worked on a Covid floor in 2020. One of them managed the Covid floor. She had many heartbreaking stories of otherwise healthy people, who died in her presence. Yet other people would say that covid was a hoax. You would never have someone other than a cardiac specialist operate on your heart, so I think it's important to listen to what your doctors (the medical field) have to say. They are the experts. Sebastian, being immunocompromised, makes it even more important to be protected. Nothing is perfect, I'm sure no vaccine or immunization is perfect, but we have to do the best we can with the information we currently know. Science really does matter. You have an amazing family! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us! God bless you all!
The above post has said it all so well. As you said yourself, Sebastian's doctors have saved his life many times. They only want what's best for him as you do. Do some research on reputable sites so you feel more informed. The decision is yours and yours alone. Sebastian is a sweet boy, and he will love the school environment.
People who died in the hospital during Covid died from the wrong “ care” and of course some were very compromised. If ivermectin HAD been available, if they HAD NOT shoved ventilators down their throats, if they had been treated right away, most would have lived. That’s just the truth of it. Like it or not. Those who don’t agree, do your homework and get off of mainstream news. And get facts!!!
Trust in the team that has saved his life. They have not let you down. They are in the business of “saving lives” and would not send you astray. They know his medical needs/history and complications better than anyone other than you and Gio. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 you find peace in whatever you choose
Love and hugs! I'm not going to give advice on what's best for Sebastian because I've never been there! Don't throw away your cactus yet! I saw some green still there! Just put it where you normally put it for the winter and be patient with it! Your soup looked so good ! I'm going to try it! ❤and hugs!
Stephanie... I feel you (and Geo)..no apologies necessary. Those of us who have been following you for some time...PLEASE stop judging yourself. You and Geo are AWESOME PARENTS! Don't you dare second guess yourselves!
My youngest daughter is a congenital heart disease kid. She is 30 now but she has had all of her vaccinations with no side effects. As a nurse I was okay with it.
I 100% understand! You're such a great mom ❤ medical decisions are hard. I was really hesitant to vaccinate my daughter after my son had a reaction but I felt pressure from people and anyways, I did against my gut and they forever altered my daughter's life. There are risks either way. You have to do what is best for you. People are quick to judge sometimes . Hugs mama
Short and sweet your his parents you know him best what ever decision on vaccinations are completely up to you two. No one else. Sending hugs to you all. Love Sebastian to the moon and back 🌹🌹🌹
Sebastián is yours and Gio's son. You do what you think is safe and best for your little man. Don't worry about what other people think. You are a wonderful mother!❤
Stephanie if there is such concern over vaccines, my advice is to get a doctor to speak to you and Gio on the pros and cons. Personally I would do it only if there was no compromise to Seb’s health. Just thinking , didn’t Freya have vaccines to go to school? Talk to Marcy . Trust your instincts
Zeus is such an incredible dog. I’m always amazed at his sweet and laid back temperament. Wishing you the best in the upcoming journey! Certainly a lot to think about and I empathize with the anxiety, stress and uncertainty you are feeling. All extremely valid feelings to have with your child that you clearly love so much. Sending warm hugs your way. ❤
School nurse here but not in your state. I feel you! And totally understand the hesitation with his rare condition. YOU ARE AN AMAZING PARENT!!!! I know you are looking for info but it may be hard to find that info with his condition. Try and find those medical doctors that you truly trust.
I understand how you feel everyone makes decisions differently and for different reasons. I have multiple sclerosis and have to have infusions pumped into me every 6 months and vaccinations but with my immune system being compromised I go with it, there’s been times I really do think about what’s going into my body and I do worry but there’s the alternative and I worry about that even more. Best of luck with your decisions ❤
😊Best start to the vlog when Sebastian is rolling around on the floor! Gio is so proud of his boy! This is a safe place for you to air your feelings. You are so authentic. Don't let anyone judge you or your decisions. Sending you a 🫂! Faithful Zeus chillin' next to Sebastian! Look at Sebastian and his sly smile! Keep Warm! It is cold in Minnesota! Brrrr! 🙋♀️👋😍
That makes so much sense girl. I feel the same way about my fur children. It is soooo difficult to make health decisions for another being. It is such pressure. You will make the right decision for you! ❤❤❤ you are so brave for sharing your thoughts and feelings! Im sure you spoken to other moms/families in CLDS community? To hear their experience with this? That might help. ❤
Sebastian, you rock the world with your smile. And the mom you are doing great. The dog 🐕 is very happy to get the skin. The bird cracks me up. Love you all 💗.
Working that stroller like a pro! Stephanie, you are such a beautiful person! I understand your hesitation and discomfort. There are no right answers here, only what you decide. Just know that I and others will support you no matter what. I know that's not what you were looking for but unfortunately as a parent, it's the best I can do. Blessings and comfort to you in your decision.
I was a Mom to a special needs child. This was many years ago. Tracy had her designated vaccinations and yet got measles that nearly took her life. It is hard when the children are normal, but special needs are another walk completely. I am glad that at the time we did vacations. It did help her. Again, this is your decision, so bless you until you can decide. Love to all. 🦋🥰
I trust you two to take care of your own child. I do hope that you can find an environment for him to learn things. Hrs smart in there. Wishing you all love and regard of your personal decisions! ❤
Don’t give up on the cactus 🌵 My husband is 79 and we have big cactus (night blooming) that came from a few cuttings about 45 years ago. Yours looks to me like some of it will come back.
Stephanie, you and gio are amazing parents I support y’all no matter what medicine is beautiful and scary you’re right, I have my feel of both sides of them. You definitely are not stupid or a bad mom you’re a rockstar. Love y’all so much. His little laughs in the beginning oh he melts my heart🫶💙. Love that stroller you’re doing so good with it now!! Soup looked freaking amazing I’m going to make that for sure!! Thank you for another amazing video.🫶💙 zues and Nolah ❤️❤️
Steph, you guys have to do what’s best for him and you. Whatever you guys decide it’s your decision and no one else’s. I was scared when my medically fragile child got vaccines. But it was 29 years ago too. So much more has come about since then too. He’s your child and you are his advocate. Do what your heart is telling you, go with your gut!!! ❤
Vaccinations should be given to every child with CdLS according to national guidelines . It is common for individuals with CdLS to have recurrent respiratory infections which can affect the sinuses, throat, airways or lungs. Respiratory infections in CdLS are thought to be influenced by differences in anatomy (how the airways have formed), hypotonia (low muscle tone and strength) and poorer co-ordination of swallowing and coughing.
Don’t be scared to post your concerns. You know your child better than anyone. And you and Gio need to make your decisions based on the best information from his medical team. Family is great but they can err on the side of love and not on medical information. Continue to pray and good luck whatever you decide.
I agree with you Steph ! You’re not a bad mom. My aunt as an adult before she passed as an adult got the covid shot she had a serious blood disorder. Had a stroke with in 24 hour of having it. It is scary for seb too. So, I get you where you are coming from and everything with Sebastian.. ❤❤❤❤
My grandson has a Great Dane that is called Velcro and he lays his head on my chest. My heart melts. I see why your choice of inoculations is hard. Your choice takes so much more research than for the average kid. Nothing wrong with changing your mind if the knowledge you find takes you there. You are awesome parents!! ❤❤❤
Steph you are a beautiful spirit! Sebastian is getting so big and is so precious! The mother that you are to Sebastian and Nala and Zeus makes my heart light glow. You have really grown in the lord. Blessings.
You’re wonderful Stephanie. I’m 79, a Brit. I think I would trust your doctors. Vaccines can/would save his life from one of those awful diseases love. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Oh and school will be excellent for him. I was a teacher for 30 odd years 😘
You are both wonderful parents and I’m sure that GOD will guide you in the right direction to be able to make this very difficult decision!! Don’t listen to people.. they don’t walk in your shoes…I believe that you will come to a decision that you and Gio know is the right one….!!🙏❤🙏❤
As a mom to a special needs kiddo with a rare disease, I totally feel you. For me, it wasn’t an easy decision either but I knew I wanted my daughter to go to school and be around peers. She’s an only child and I really wanted not to isolate her for fear of her getting sick. But that’s my situation, and I know you are going to do what’s best for you and your family. Trust your gut and it will all be fine.
Let your hearts and your heads guide being a Mom and Dad. Smile and take peoples advice, then weigh it out together and use what you feel is best for your sweet little man. Watched you for a while now. You are a great mom. Give yourselves the right do what you believe. More exposure to kids more potential respiratory infections or illnesses. You take STUNNING pictures, congratulations. Enjoy the New Year🎉 Two great parents , extended family is so loving ,accepting and proud of Sebastian. 😂❤ Thanks Rhoda , Peds. Nurse , Mom of 2, Gramma to 6 and adopted Abuela to 2. Live, Laugh and Love, Rhoda😂❤
You are very WISE with waiting, many better control and purer vaccinations coming!!! Keep doing your research.. you are chosen to be Sebastion’s parents. Just continue with your motherly gut instincts! 100% supporting you!!! Oceans of Love and Prayer! Love Auntie Cookie PS… you are sooo talented with your photography!!!!
My opinion is that if anyone needs the vaccines, it's him. In New York, a certain part of the population didn't vaccine and they had a rubella outbreak that killed a few kids. The mayor had to step in and close their own schools to prevent it from extending to another areas and for their own well being. My concern is that Sebastian goes out and he also interact with other people who might have been exposed to any disease. Also, you both need him to go to school. It will be so beneficial to him and a break for you too. Discuss it with the medical team and decide. Happy holidays!
@@stephaniegeorgeSending him to school will not only be great for him, but it will be great for you and hubby too-being a caretaker and a parent is HARD WORK and you deserve and need some time away from that role for your own mental and physical health.
I guess I would tend to lean more on the side of the professionals than my friends and family. Especially since they care about him and know so much about his health and needs. 30+ years ago when my kids were born it was just something you did. It was never questioned. My daughter did the delayed schedule for her girls and that worked for them. You'll make the right decision for your family.
Thank you. I appreciate your perspective. We are going to sit down with the doctors who know him, have saved him (and even love him). I just feel like I want to have an open conversation about all of it and go from there. It’s really hard being in charge of making big medical decisions for another person with so much conflicting information out there. That’s all. I want what’s best for him (and those around him who he will share space and germs with). I know it’s my job to now get educated and talk to people smarter than us to learn that information. I’m not against vaccinations. I’m just not educated enough to make a sound decision right now and that’s why we are reaching out to his doctors who know him to try to get educated. I hope this makes sense. ❤️
Just curious, not because I’m questioning what you’re doing, but what are the concerns? I genuinely don’t know. Is it him particularly or vaccines as a whole you have concerns? Again, I’m asking for myself to learn. Is it because of ptsd from hospitals and his already compromised immune system? I totally get it. The doctor who brought up the vaccine and autism connection was revoked of his medical license and barred from ever practicing medicine again because of his proven false and impossible claims and he admitted to saying it for the money.
I think I would consider what Sebastian’s medical team tells you. I know Freya may not be as immunocompromised as Sebastian but her mom may have some insight since she is in school. Just a thought. I fully understand your concern. I pray you can find a solution that you are comfortable with. That soup looked delish 😊. Sebastian rolling around and talking is the best ❤❤
The only thing I will say about vaccines is that they prevent terrible sicknesses that could be very harmful and certain people have given vaccines a bad wrap. The only vaccines I don't get my children or myself is covid, but you do what makes you feel safe no matter what. You are an amazing mom. Don't let anyone tell you differently .
Steph I think you and Gio always make the best decisions for Sebastián. He is happy healthy, thriving, is so loved. Don't stress, its just a bump, this guy is living the best life. At 28:08 did Nala say "its ok" when you said "Mom made a mess". That was amazing!
Others may not feel the same way as me but. My kids were born healthy. My daughter started having ear infections at 4 months old and I chose to not give her the vaccines until she was completely well. And my son was also healthy. I chose to give them their vaccines but I spread them way out. I did not follow the guidelines of the doctors. I did what I felt was better and less risky for MY children. So I totally understand and would def be exactly like minded as you. I do believe in most vaccinations but not all and not giving them so young and close together. Maybe people feel that I am wrong. I have worked with doctors for 30 years now and find that nearly all of them are 100 percent science minded. I love that they are wonderful healers but still feel that they and we should take each circumstance in consideration what is good for one child may not be for another. So I applaud you for being an excellent mother and advocate for Sebastian.
Could you talk to Marcy, Freya’s mum? I feel like her insight would be valuable as she is a nurse and has a child with Cornelia De Lang Syndrome. I’m pretty sure Freya is going to school as well.
You need to listen to the doctors that have been with you since the beginning. Educate yourself and become empowered for your son. He desperately needs to go to school to be a part of life outside of yours. There is so much school can do for him. Only do 2 at a time, but know if you decide the slow route it could take many years for him to get to school.
Thank you so much. Thats the plan. We are going to sit down with the doctors who know him, have saved him (and even love him). I just feel like I want to have an open conversation about all of it and go from there. Thank you for being kind. It means a lot to me.
Steph, I think you and Gio are the best parents Sebastian could have been blessed with. I know you take everything seriously that affects him. Getting advice from his medical team is better than anything any of us can offer you. I will keep you in my prayers that God will guide you in this really hard decision. Give that lovely boy a big hug!!! Got you back here in MI
Was so good so see Sebastian so happy and chatty! 👦🏻 Nala sure was bossy! 😁 Telling Sebastian to stop, telling Zeus to take it easy! 🦜🐶🤣 You and Gio are great parents, whatever decisions you make are yours and his, no one else’s, whatever they maybe. Don’t beat yourself up, it’s no one else’s business. BTW your set for the Christmas 🎄 photos were awesome! 🌲👦🏻🐶🦜
Sebastian is getting so big and tall. He is absolutely so handsome. Look at how good he’s sitting up too. I have four grown children now. Two of them with babies of their own now. They too, are struggling with the same decisions about immunizations. We also adopted our nephew who has Cerebral Palsy. Along with other health issues. He’s in a wheelchair, mainly nonverbal, feeding tube, and etc. He’s in his 20’s now. I can say on his behalf only. He did fine with all his immunizations. So did our healthy grown children. Honestly I am so glad I don’t have to make those decisions any longer. I don’t know what I would do now verses back then. These are scary times we’re living in. And some times I don’t feel like we’re told the whole truth. You and Gio are truly the very best parents to Sebastian. It’s so clear that you love your handsome little fella. I pray that you both find the peace and answers you are looking for.
@ Maybe you would like to reach out to this young lady. I don’t even know how she ended up on my feed. I don’t know her. I don’t know her whole story. But I have been following along with her journey to be seizure free. Granted I know she said she was perfectly fine before this. Her and Sebastian’s cases are different. But it still might help you make the decision you need. This is what she wrote not me. I just copied it and pasted it for you. Hello! My name is Angelique Busko! I am 25 years old. I started having seizures after I had to get vaccines for school. I have been having seizures for 7 years now. My main goal is to become seizure free. I've been trying to become seizure free as naturally as possible by detoxing, diet, and exercise. So that's why l'm taking this journey because hopefully by the end of it I won't have anymore seizures! But not only that, I want to spread awareness for epilepsy and also live in a positive way.
Your sebastian is such a sweetheart❤ I worked as a home health aid with a little girl who went to a public school but her adopted mother told me she could not get vaccines (idk if she meant all or most), she could not have mayonnaise, and she could not be around reptiles. I'm sure there were other things too that I forgot to mention because this was years ago. I'm not sure what all the family had to deal with in terms of her going to school because I was under the impression you had to be vaccinated to go to public school. Anyway you will do what's best for you guys and don't feel bad about it❤
One thought I'm having is that perhaps you could do vaccines slowly. Instead of giving "combo" vaccines, or multiple vaccines at once, request individual vaccines spaced out over time. That way he'll be less likely to have a difficult reaction. Just an idea.
Yes I would prefer to spread them out, I know in the past he did get bad fevers but they did pass. It’s just scary all around. I just want what’s best for him 😢❤
I have 2 children and both are vaccinated, we’ve never encountered any issues. And in our minds it’s better to be safe than have them get sick and have a dire illness. You’ll make the right the decision for Sebastian, you and Gio are fantastic parents.
Please don't be hard on yourself. It's a very frustrating position to stand in. My grandson was born with SMA-1. What I discovered is everyone believes their opinion is the only correct one. But 95%+ of them are clueless regarding caring for someone with rare and unique medical issues. You are strong and wise, don't ever doubt that. God Bless💗 Hugs & smooches to Sebastian🩵
Here is how I feel he is your child, and you have to go with your feelings. I know you will research the good and bad about getting them. So here is a hug to get you through this. ❤
I understand that CDL can make these decisions more complex for your family. I have to tell you that Sebastian deserves his therapies. This isn't something you are doing TO him but FOR him. There is a absolutely a window of language for children and it starts to close at age 7. He should have the chance to learn how to communicate. He is so close Stephanie. I have written before as an early intervention special education teacher for children just like Sebastian. I wish I could call you and tell you how much potential I see in Sebastian. He is cute and sweet now but when he is 14 and can't communicate to make his wants and needs known and doesn't have fine motor or gross motor control of his body, it will be a very different situation. I also had a medically complex child who had a condition where his body would absorb the vaccines and not hold on to them so it was if he was never vaccinated. He had triple the amount of vaccines as a normal child. He's a Deans List college student now! If he cannot go to school, will your state allow home based special education instruction? He can receive PT and OT and Speech through your health insurance. Going to school isn't the goal. Him receiving therapies is the goal. Yes, there are benefits to being in school with peers but please, look into other options to get him his therapies.
Every child deserves an opportunity to learn how to communicate. That is just as much a parental responsibility as making medical decisions.@@glassmanpatricia9201
Communication is a basic human right that has nothing to do with vaccinations. It does not matter where he receives the services, but he needs them, desperately.
I would think your Cactus should come back because it really gets cold in the desert out west gets really cold and even snows. Don’t give up on it yet.
I’m extremely provaccine and trust my doctors/pediatricians recommendations. I also understand that my children being vaccinated help those children in which vaccinations may be risky (so they can’t be vaccinated). We are so fortunate to have public health initiatives and access to vaccines here in the US.
I would fully trust Sebastian's doctors. I could tell you that I have researched vaccinations for decades, and with the exception of the Covid shot (which is not a vaccine), would not let my children go without them, but I am also not a doctor or one who fully understands Sebastian's individual risks. I would definitely trust the professionals who have access and understanding to Sebastian's medical situation far more than family or friends, who have very limited medical knowledge, especially in atypical cases, though.
Grandma in South Africa here. When my children and grandkids were babies, it was a given to vaccinate. I am wiser now. If I could turn the clock, I would have never had it done. I also never had THE injection in 2019/2020. God bless you, Geo and our precious Sebastian
I’m not a doctor but I agree with vaccines. If not for them we would still have the horrible diseases from years ago and it’s only people being vaccinated that have ceased them to still be. I would rather vaccinate than not. Each to there own. You are fantastic parents and will make the right choice for your family…❤️talk to the experts…
your son is yours.. u need to make that choice. don't let anyone make it for you. you will feel it in your heart what is right for you all as a family. just read on them what you can understand. make your decision that way... you two are wonderful parents... prayers for your family hugsssssssssssssss girl you got this.
Stephanie, you are so sweet and adorable! I hope everyone is ki d to you. As a parent it is your sole discretion to make decisions for your child. You are clearly doing that and you are very brave for sharing your personal thoughts with so many people. Stay strong ❤
I’d trust the medical staff who know his medical history and can provide you the information you need. While I personally love my friends and family and know that they always speak from a place of love and care, I typically leave those medical decisions to my daughter’s medical providers. Y’all always do what’s best for him and this will be no different. On a side note, I’m so sorry about the cactus! I hope it can come back to life!
As a momma of four, I’m telling you what helps me make so many of my choices for my children’s health and safety…if you do not have peace…don’t do it. That is YOUR child. And in any case, you advocate for him more than the average parent with an average child. You are a wonderful mother. Follow your instincts. Follow our heart. If you don’t have peace, there is a reason why. ❤❤
R.I.P.🌵 🫵🏻⭐️……👋 Quick little note You could always strain your own homemade broth in a very tiny hole screened strainer …twice 😀,just an idea P.S. nice fridge 👍
I totally understand your thoughts fears and concerns in reference to immunizations, especially when it comes to your precious special needs child. I honestly don’t know what I would do if I were in your shoes, so I’m so sorry that I can’t offer any help, but know that I support you in any decision you make. Sebastian is absolutely so very handsome and special. You’re a great mom. ♥️ Much love from Louisiana
You and Gio are truly wonderful, loving, intelligent parents. Whatever you decide I know will be what is best for Sebastián. Parents aren't perfect. We all do the best we can. I can see from the messages the vast majority all support you guys ❤ Love and Hugs!
My son had all the vaccinations with no issues, but he wasn’t medically challenged. I would trust his doctors on this. It is a personal decision. But personally, I trust vaccine, I just don’t get more than one at a time bc they can affect the immune system.
Thank you so much . I appreciate your perspective. We are going to sit down with the doctors who know him, have saved him (and even love him).
THIS❤ that’s exactly what we’re doing! So appreciative that they are going to take the time to sit down with us and explain things.
Love and hugs! I'm not going to give advice on what's best for Sebastian because I've never been there! Don't throw away your cactus yet! I saw some green still there! Just put it where you normally put it for the winter and be patient with it! Your soup looked so good ! I'm going to try it! ❤and hugs!
Sebastian, Zeus & Nala are on another cuteness level
They are the best!
I read that you can bring back a cactus that had been frozen. Don’t get rid of it. When you find out what to do, keep us updated on it’s regrowth. 🌵
They heal themselves.
Stephanie... I feel you (and Geo)..no apologies necessary. Those of us who have been following you for some time...PLEASE stop judging yourself. You and Geo are AWESOME PARENTS! Don't you dare second guess yourselves!
Dear Stephanie, I love the fact that you think about everything for the best decisions in regards to your son. I wish I could have a mother like you!
Look how much stronger he’s become. Rolling around and holding his upper body up well done little man ❤
My youngest daughter is a congenital heart disease kid.
Love Sebastian to the moon and back 🌹🌹🌹
Sebastian is just adorable isn't he. He has a lot of honoury Aunties on here. ❤️🌹💙💙
Hes getting so big! Jeeze...❤❤❤❤love Zues hes adorable
OMG I just heard Nala imitating you saying “wait” to Zeus!! 😂 That was hilarious 😂
She sure did say it lol
Sebastián is yours and Gio's son. You do what you think is safe and best for your little man. Don't worry about what other people think. You are a wonderful mother!❤
Stephanie if there is such concern over vaccines, my advice is to get a doctor to speak to you and Gio on the pros and cons. Personally I would do it only if there was no compromise to Seb’s health. Just thinking , didn’t Freya have vaccines to go to school? Talk to Marcy . Trust your instincts
Well on a “kind note” I’m happy to see “you’ve mastered the new stroller folding!” Love you. ❤️🥰😀🙏🏻 Prayers always from an OLD Grandma! 🥰
That’s exactly it. You get it. Not for it not against it. Just want to know more…. We are sending you our love.
How can anyone question yall? Y’all are remarkable parents and 100% devoted to Sebastian’s well being.
❤️✨🌵sending prayers of clarity and courage
I agree with your doctors. You're putting them at risk by not getting them and I feel that he is a very healthy young man and he can take it
Working that stroller like a pro!
Sebastian seems to like his new ride too, happy for you😊
I think you need to do whatever Sebastian needs💜💜
I agree with you Steph ! You’re not a bad mom. My aunt as an adult before she passed as an adult got the covid shot she had a serious blood disorder. Had a stroke with in 24 hour of having it. It is scary for seb too. So, I get you where you are coming from and everything with Sebastian.. ❤❤❤❤
I guess we never know how some one will do with those vaccines. You guys do you. Especially with Sebastian’s health. ❤❤❤
Your cactus is green inside so there is hope! 🙂 Don't give up yet!
That's exactly what I was going to say!!!! It looks like you may know a thing or two about plants too!! 🌵🌵🌵🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
❤❤❤
Thank you so much. And Zeus is the same way. He’s sooooo attached to me lol. I love him so much. He’s such a good boy
That set🎄 is fiyah!!! 🔥
I was a teacher for 30 odd years 😘
Sebastian is such a sweet and happy boy 👦 ❤
I just love his voice and he is talking so much these days! We love you Sebastian!❤❤❤Zeus you’re a good babysitter!😊
Get the shots. If it wasn't for the shots we'd still have pandemics of measles and such.
You're an amazing woman Stephanie and you do what's best for your family around taking care of Sebastian.
Thanks Rhoda , Peds.
This 🫶🙌
OMGEEE the Rollie fun and the “Hey” is sending me! LOVE you, Sebastian!!!
Such adorable Family 🤗😘
I hope you send him to school. He will really love it and benefit from all the therapies
@@amandaraetsch621 I think so too. It’ll be good for him. We just want the best for him, it’s just hard sometimes to know what that is.
@@stephaniegeorgeSending him to school will not only be great for him, but it will be great for you and hubby too-being a caretaker and a parent is HARD WORK and you deserve and need some time away from that role for your own mental and physical health.
You 3 are such an amazing family. Love you all.
steph you and geo are great parents you both do what is best for your son and don't listen to what other's think hugs to you hun
Listen to the professionals that are INVOLVED in your son’s care! Not any other professionals and definitely NOT extended family or internet “aunties.
Agreed, listen to the professionals who know him best. In the end it’s the parents who have to make the decision.
Thank you so much. Marci texted tonight. I love that I have her to bounce thoughts off of. Thank you ❤️
Maybe using sign language with Sebastian will spark his communication side. Simple signs like yes, thank you, please, love, more, milk, water, etc
Just thoughts. Is your hesitation with the shots really a hesitation with starting to send s to school?
I wrote her the same thought.
Same here. We’ve gotten the vaccines that have been around for a long time, I wait for the newer ones like Covid
Steph I think you and Gio always make the best decisions for Sebastián. He is happy healthy, thriving, is so loved. Don't stress, its just a bump, this guy is living the best life. At 28:08 did Nala say "its ok" when you said "Mom made a mess". That was amazing!
As a little girl I almost died from the measles and i was a healthy child!
Great idea.
Thank you so much for your perspective and experience. It means more to me than you know 😭 thank you
@ Maybe you would like to reach out to this young lady.
Your sebastian is such a sweetheart❤
I worked as a home health aid with a little girl who went to a public school but her adopted mother told me she could not get vaccines (idk if she meant all or most), she could not have mayonnaise, and she could not be around reptiles. I'm sure there were other things too that I forgot to mention because this was years ago. I'm not sure what all the family had to deal with in terms of her going to school because I was under the impression you had to be vaccinated to go to public school.
Anyway you will do what's best for you guys and don't feel bad about it❤
Your wonderful parents! You two do what is best for your sweet boy
I just want what’s best for him 😢❤
@stephaniegeorge don't do them at all, if you don't want to do them. Period.
I have 2 children and both are vaccinated, we’ve never encountered any issues. And in our minds it’s better to be safe than have them get sick and have a dire illness.
You’ll make the right the decision for Sebastian, you and Gio are fantastic parents.
I love when Zeus lays next to Sebastian, then I can see them both. So cute!😊😊
God Bless💗
Hugs & smooches to Sebastian🩵
Be still. Your answers in parenting are within you. Trust in your family. Sebastian is beautiful ❤️❤️
Here is how I feel he is your child, and you have to go with your feelings. I know you will research the good and bad about getting them. So here is a hug to get you through this. ❤
I understand that CDL can
make these decisions more complex for your family.
As a teacher of special needs children, I agree with you.
Every child deserves an opportunity to learn how to communicate. That is just as much a parental responsibility as making medical decisions.@@glassmanpatricia9201
Communication is a basic human right that has nothing to do with vaccinations. It does not matter where he receives the services, but he needs them, desperately.
Decisions concerning our children are always difficult. God be with you.
I appreciate your perspective and the way you respectfully gave it. Thank you so much ❤
@ , you’re doing good momma.
I like when he sits in there and his legs go up and down and he moves side to side. It's so cute ❤
❤watching your channel, and I'm sure you will do what you feel is right for your child. God bless your family

Quick little note
You could always strain your own homemade broth in a very tiny hole screened strainer …twice 😀,just an idea
P.S. nice fridge 👍
That's what I suggested too!! Real stock is the only way to go. The cartons taste like gross water haha 😅
Much love from Louisiana
If you feel not educated then you need to trust your doctor and take his advice.
You and Gio are truly wonderful, loving, intelligent parents. Whatever you decide I know will be what is best for Sebastián. Parents aren't perfect. We all do the best we can. I can see from the messages the vast majority all support you guys ❤ Love and Hugs!
Wow he’s full of energy today. Morning Bastian xxx
People NEED to understand that he is YOUR child and you know what is best for.🙏🏼🥰
My son had all the vaccinations with no issues, but he wasn’t medically challenged. I would trust his doctors on this. It is a personal decision. But personally, I trust vaccine, I just don’t get more than one at a time bc they can affect the immune system.
Thank you so much . I appreciate your perspective. We are going to sit down with the doctors who know him, have saved him (and even love him).
