When i tried that mission for the first time i killed the first rajanh and not even 2 seconds later, the other one appeared.
I now realized that if i missed a single strike of that first fight, the mission would've been just impossible with a second one on the field...

@@lorencelaflair4306 Monsters take higher damage from the first hit that wakes them up. So if you put the small barrel bomb too close it will be the first hit thus reducing the damage from large barrel bombs

This was probably done just for the video, but when sleep bombing for real you want the highest possible single hit damage value to wake the monster up as that value will be multiplied by 5 I think in MHFU, it was decreased in later games (which was a bad change IMO). So you want one of the large barrel bombs to hit the monster first so that its damage gets the multiplier, and so the total damage will be much higher. It's not shown in the video but there's a delay between the small barrel bomb's detonation and the large ones', which means that by the time they detonate the monster is already awake (because the small one's detonation area of effect will hit the monster before the large ones even explode) and the remaining bombs will deal regular damage. This is valid for later games too, just so you know. Alternatively you can use a weapon like great sword because it can deal a lot of damage in a single hit. Dual blades or sword and shield on the other hand would be awful.

Bruh just use LBG azure sakura. Keep throwing flash bombs and shoot rapid fire lv1 pierce bullet. First rajang die quickly before second one appears

My late game equipment set, light bowgun pollination. Azure rathalos armor set (high rank and g rank mix for max earplugs skill points possible) and hawk eye piercing headgear.
Skills obtained including gems: Autotracker, high grade earplug, bullet limit, and reckless abandon+1. Using this set to clear 99% quests
