Same kind of issue you described with the ability queueing through phase transitions etc. Too many times the abilities queued wasn't actually what i wanted; totally still don't understand the ticks. Sometimes i'd change my mind between those global cds. I'd rather spam click an ability or hammer my key to get in the correct one i want through my revolution. I don't do manual... but necro is inching me towards it. I don't know how to divvy up my keybinds more within reach of my hand.
@ChronoSquare Use shift and Ctrl as well as the keys you already use to triple layer them. As a bonus consider putting shift on your mouse to make it e en easier to reach them.
@@rik0220 learning the keybinds and not using the wrong shift vs ctrl is the tricky part! Hmmm i wonder if i shouldn't make a separate mouse bind for pvm, where my side mouse keys aren't just 1 through 9... (0 is space)
small correction on the stat boosting potions (which actually makes it even weirder): the timer for it to decrease by a level doesn’t start when you drink the potion, it actually starts when you log in. for example, if you log in at 17:30:45, and then you drink a dose of extreme ranging potion at 17:31:44, your boost will decrease 1 second later
To add to the B rune section, if the B rune was not a rune you needed to kill but you wanted to use deathskulls, you could use disruption shield before killing the B rune, it will block the damage, and you can use deathskulls as if it was a rune you had to kill. Edit: this is also helpful if you forgot what runes you had to kill. Just use disruption shield before killing a specific rune to block the damage if it was the wrong rune and repeat until you get the correct ones killed.
Additional note regarding the monthly oyster D&D: you will collect the sea cucumber and seaweed immediately if you are 200m in the respective skill(s).
Oh boy wait until you try doing clue scrolls and see some of the optimal routing that exists, we surge through entire buildings, as in starting on the west side and ending up on the east. The easy "Check a crate in Port Khazard" step comes to mind immediately as one where we just completely ignore an entire building's existence.
The spam clicking also speeds up feather collection from the desert phoenix. Works best if you manage to trap him in the western section, between the cliff and the cactus.
Bladed dive helps out a ton at dino farm, if you're standing next to the rock at the top of those annoying af stairs that turn every 2 steps you can dive to the square just at the bottom of the stairs and avoid having to run down them. Works both ways to go up as well
The stat timer is an invisble global 1 minute timer that starts on login. Useful for if you get a boost you need. Log out then back in to reset it so it doesn't go down.
For the eating, it is easier to bite food and then wash it down with liquid, than it is to drink liquid and bite food while the liquid is still in your mouth. But in reality it is a tick issue.
I don't know if this is 100% true. Regarding B rune, I heard the reason for it is because after you kill it once it changes NPC I.D. and, for whatever reason, that turns it into something that skulls can't "see."
The bladed dive through things is pretty good when doing melee Nex, you can go through the wells in the middle straight to the minions. I miss doing melee Nex.
When I use the ability twice it clears the queuing so idk what's going on there The potion animation is actually longer than the eating animation which is why you have to eat first, some of the potions in older content (and in parts of OSRS) still have the eat animation for potions so you can use them in any order...In rs3 it might've been to try to stop stacking food like karambwanji(which used to be edible in both games) and purple sweets tick eating. Or it's just a weird animation thing who knows

The reason the Zamorak Death Skulls B rune thing works the way it does is because after you kill the B rune once you are no longer in combat with the entity in that space until you hit it again. When you enter phase 7 you are automatically in combat with everything, but once you kill a rune the new entity that replaces it drops combat with you. Death skulls won't bounce to a target you're not in combat with.
Maybe it interacts that way at zammy specifically, but Dskulls definitely targets anything in bounce range when I use it for slayer even if I'm not in combat with it before that.
The ticks are the same as what you do with divination. It's when the xp text is about all the way up, click again. Spam clicking not really needed. But yes it has to do with the tick system 😅
another one is trying to note a blood necklace shard, i forget which one is the correct way but you gotta either use the blood shard on the note paper or the note paper on the blood shard you can't do it both ways only one way works
So the stat boost timer changes had something to do with rapid restore prayer. I think you were able to keep your stats boosted to max just by flicking it once a minute.

You can outside of cutscenes / between phases. But specifically between phases at raksha / telos etc you can't because your character isn't actually being controlled.
This game gets boring quick mate, after and long struggle of just getting skills to 99 in the early days now your just like “ okay..how come i have to wait for years on two or three bosses “. Why arent there more dungeons by now.. other games show larger progression wich makes it easier to be part of.
With how ingrained ticks are to the game engine, changing that would mean such a massive overhaul as to basically turn it into another game at this point. Maybe you have more insight from higher level pvm experience, i don't.
They did talk about this within the last few years actually. Among sons other things, but it was a huge overhaul and idk if they are still working on it...
Ability Queuing Players!
Hit the button again, and it will clear it. If 7 is queuing, hit 7 and it will unqueue.

Another thing you might not have known: if you have 200m farming or fishing, at the Oyster it gives you the item immediately without any xp drops

as a new player, the game is extremely inconsistent with actions especially prayer switching/flicking. very annoying to want to continue
