The superman figure was one that I immediately went to hunt as soon as I started collecting a couple of years ago. Matter of fact I spent most of my time hunting new old figures though of course I got new ones as well. Great video.
Just started collecting this Summer, and was lucky to land a handful of classics. I also think they're underappreciated sleepers: Bruce Lee (Enter the Dragon) & The Godfather. These went along with DX13 Jack Sparrow, DX15 BD T2, and Robocop (OG). Of all these, I'm continued to be impressed by the Bruce Lee and Vito Corleone figures. They seem to represent a time at Hot Toys, that's sorta where Inart is now. Taking their time to carefully craft key figures. My latest addition is the Reeves Superman. And as you said, way better than they ought to be, given their age. But they approached it as art back then. And good art is timeless.
Well said brother. I feel like back then Hot Toys had a lot more time and money to spend on each figure compared to nowadays. But oh well such are the growing pains of business I suppose. Thanks for watching!
2023 is the retro year-DXO6SPARROW,DX08 JOKER,T-1000, 66Batman/Robin, Han/Chewie(new), Blake/Gordon Batlight, 3pk Armory, Dooku, Han/Luke Trooper, a single Keaton Wayne (from 2pk for $50 at a pawnshop and QMX KIRK/Spock 50 each).
Really enjoyed the video Lancelot! Getting a great vibe from your content, definitely going to tune in more often!
