Thanks for the comparison video. I own both, and I agree that the InArt Batman looks better. However, for this release, it seems that Hot Toys has fewer QC issues compared to InArt. Even though there are fewer InArt Batman figures on the market, they still tend to experience more issues, which shows that Hot Toys has more experience.

I foresee a lot of people canceling their preorders after watching the new Joker 2 movie this weekend

Thank you for this. There was a great deal on the hot toys version and I was considering picking it up. Changed my mind now :)) Inart looks way better imo. I have the Bruce Wayne already so the masked headsculpt is more important for me

Just a few points of opinion : - the sizes To me, I like the smaller size, even though it may be disturbing, since... When you design a character, having a head in the smaller side is more realistic than on the bigger side. - the hair I do like the sculpt on the backside of the Hot Toys slightly more, but I prefer the falling strans onto the forehead of the Inart. The HT never convinced me on that, I don't like the final sculpt, especially at the end of it. - the expression and likeness To me, Pattinson as Batman was playing an empty shell when he wasn't under the cowl. So having a more blanked headsculpt on the expressive side doesn't bother me, and I do prefer it. I see the likeness in the general sculpt far more in the InArt one, even though I think the paint of the Hot Toys may biaise the result (with the tan skin ton and everything, I don't see that much of Robert Pattinson). - the cowl I like InArt's cowl best, but not on everything. First, before everything, the Hot Toys is great, if we keep it by itself. Second, I like the scratches more on the HT, and how deep they are. Some details here and there are better onto the Hot Toys, but both are great in their own way, so heck

This review was really helpful. In every comparison video, I just don't see the likeness as strong in Inart's HS, both cowled and unmasked. I'm thinking it probably looks much better in hand, but all the videos showcase the same. It's great to have both options, but it's crazy to think that IA still hasn't fully released their batches, while Hot Toys has been available since beginning of the year. That's massive if you consider the value of time. Reminds of the old days of VHS, when you had to wait like a year to buy a theatrical release, when nowadays you can buy it within a few weeks or months on 4k disc. You can always make more money, but you can't buy more time.

The funny thing with this figure is that it's at such a point of "too much" that there's nothing to talk about. The concept could be cool.... But as a custom, I think it's far too niche for people. Here I just see a way for Hot Toys to get easy money for just new paint... I mean, if they really wanted to re-use the Head Sculpt, why don't they make a nurse Joker, or even a new Police Officer Joker (if they want to make something niche, at least make something that is in the movie)... And again a Dark Knight suit that is on preorder when it's litteraly the 3rd in PO at the same time and it's yet again a different one... It will just oversature the market... It's not even like they re-use perfect parts of products, there's still a lot of the problems, here combined... I'm a huge Heath Ledger Joker and TDK fan, but this... To me it's a no, just like their grey and blue version of this suit, I don't get the point. If they want to make something exclusive, do something that have a real basis of demand instead of this kind of things... To earn money, they'll be better with this than right now... But maybe I'm just not the target, but I really don't see what they were thinking. Maybe that's just me. Edit after having seen a review of this figure in hand as a final product, here's a copy-paste of my """review""" of it : I'm just gonna talk about the Headsculpt. I think it's a big improvement over the Dx11, but there's still something off with what's better. I think the hairline isn't the right shape, but the rooted in general seems really good. I hope they'll do something more like this than their prototype for the classic purple-suited Joker, because here this looks better. The paint is better too, but still off. Not enough skin is poking through on the forehead and in the "wrinkles marks" around the eyes, making the paint quite unrealistic and inaccurate. The messy look of the make up, especially the black make up, isn't messy enough. It's too clean, too artificial. The expression is better than this weird smile that isn't Heath's smile at all, the scar on his left is better too... But the other one, on his right (so, on our left) is still completely off. It doesn't really look like something carved into the cheek, but more like two edges glued over it. There's not enough scarring mark on the bottom of it, and it doesn't look "scar-like" to me. Weirdly enough, the likeness is far better than the previous one they've made, but it's still not Heath Ledger to me. We're close of it being really good/great at this level, but not there. I think we're around 70% accurate likeness wise. It's a great headsculpt of the Joker from The Dark Knight, but not that much of a great headsculpt of the Joker played by Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. If their classic version is at this level, I think people are going to be really happy and that's what matters. To me it's ranked at the second place behind InArt's version (so for people who can't/don't want to have this one or any reason, it's great), but far higher than Dx11 and JND's versions. I'm not going to talk about the suit and its paint in general 'cause it's purely based on personal tastes and not at all something in need to be accurate.... So here it's completely, more than for anything else, more of a "you like or you don't". To me it's a "meh", but I see why people could like it, and I hope people won't be bothered by the choice of the version of the batsuit (I mean, Heath Ledger and Christian Bale don't have the same body, so if it's different to their most up-to-date version of Batsy.... I don't think it matters that much)

Those InArt photos are photoshopped to hell. The figure won’t look nearly as good as those photos do. See Aragorn.

I think this case is just another example of "Hot Toys is great, InArt is better" Because Hot Toys isn't bad at all, it's like for their Heath Ledger Joker, their Pennywise and Battinson. These are great figures by themselves, but just not as good as InArt. I think here, for example, that the Hot Toys is perfect to have a great alternative to the third parties, but is just not the best in general for some reasons, and that isn't important. People who are gonna buy this are going to be extremely happy, and that's what matters. The only thing that I think is quite """problematic""" is the fact that their rooted isn't at all on InArt's level, but their price is. 'cuz if you consider the fact that the InArt is a 2 pack, you realize that the prices per figure are similar. In my opinion, Hot Toys shouldn't focus on rooted, but sculpted. 'cuz they're better at it than at rooted, and it would be a better alternative for a bit cheaper. Either way... People are gonna be happy, and again, it's what matter the most. To talk a bit about the movie, to me it's a "bit" paradoxal. The movie is excellent AND an absolute crap. It's an excellent movie, but a crap as a movie about the Joker

I think it is important to mention that a) glasses that don't sit on the face as human glasses do, so it is possible that picky collector will have to order a custom pair b) pleather pants will turn to shit in a couple of years

Do you have any preferences or recommendations regarding this WW 1984 figure vs the latest artisan WB100 figure? I’ve watched many reviews on them and tried to compare. I feel like the sculpted hair could be more reliable, and I’ve heard that people love the ‘84 outfit’s vibrancy more than the WB100 one. I know people love the head sculpt likeness on the WB100 one. I figured if I chose the ‘84 one I could just buy a sword and shield off eBay for good price to add to her. Great review btw!

I just got mine yesterday from Ozzie collectibles in Australia 🇦🇺 and one thing you might not notice is the pistol can reload and remove the magazine from the bottom which I find it pretty cool, the only down side I have with is the pin 🧷 on he’s ties comes off while I was doing some poses but because of how lose the ties is every time i take off the vest it attaches to the pins from the ties and fills off

I missed out on the first issue of this figure and was simply *delighted* to see it get put up for PO. I just love the comic booky-ness of this suit. It’ll be a lot of fun to pit Supers(after all SuperGirl will be coming out!) against him in the case.

Did you happen to PO the InArt Batman?

I've bought 4 of these Movie Masterpiece Series (MMS 152) Christopher Reeve Superman 1/6 Scale Action figures and I also bought the 2013 Exclusive Superman Evil Version, Movie Masterpiece Series (MMS 207). These are the only Hot Toys Figures that I've collected because Im a Christopher Reeve Superman Super Fan. The latest Hot Toys figures now are in accurate in terms of height and body muscular proportion. Example the Henry Cavill Man of Steel, BVS, and Justice League Figures are too tall when in fact henry cavill is only 6'1 while Christopher Reeve is 6'4. Another reason is that Hot Toys figures now are redundant. Example the Iron man figures that were always recreated and repainted even though its still the same look in the previous releases. And the final reason is that hot toys figures now are waaaay over priced unlike before in which they are fairly and in standard prices. Its not economical to spend your money in over priced, redundant and in accurate looking figures.
