I've been in construction for 22 years and have had a lot of Operating Engineers who were very skilled and this boy definitely has some serious skills,made quick work of that. NICE JOB

@@smjhobbies4527 🤣🤣🤣 not a chance. First of all, the road is wider than the spread from the back of a truck. You going to do a full pass and a half pass to get the same width coverage?! Let alone the fine tuning at the road. Plus his backfill on the edges with dirt to keep the stone from washing out. Just because you want to hack it in for cheaper doesn’t mean your option is better.

That's some of the best operator skills I've seen in a long while.
I’ve used some heavy-ish equipment (skid steer, tractors with loaders/backhoe, etc.) but it still always amazes me how precise their movements are.

Very good operator, yes, but the significant thing here is the attachment on the Volvo. That is very high tech piece of equipment that allows the operator to control the road base material in a way far superior to the 2nd, conventional excavator used with a tilting bucket. Great video really well produced.

This guy is one hell of an operator! I go to some job sites and watch knuckleheads that are put into machines and just tear them apart because they can't operate. I work on volvo equipment everyday but have no idea how to really use any of the equipment like this. Great job!
