I, too, have encountered people that do this kind of crap in The Trial and in Horizon Tour, and you're right, it totally ruins the experience and is just maddening.

I’ve experienced this too, even when there are reds up ahead I’m trying to get to. I need to figure out how to use that video clip function. I play gamepass on PC.

@@stevio2175 You can also upload videos to RUclips and link them in the ticket. I asked T10ManteoMax about it in the forums and he checked back with the support and confirmed that's also a valid way of reporting. This gets seconded by responses to some of my tickets using links to YT videos as evidence of misconduct.

Some players also dont know what the driving line or brake means. I always get rammed into a corner. Hitting the ai is fine, but players; its annoying
some are bad drivers sure.. but there is a difference when it is consistently intentional.. but again, some don't even know ramming is not okay, and probably do it for fun

Ridiculous, and I guarantee these are the type of people who'd say "it's just a game, bro!" as an excuse. It's been a while since someone rammed me deliberately in The Trial, although every week I encounter players who don't tune their cars and don't know how to drive, yet are at a level where they must have played for 100+ hours.
some people aren't skilled, and that's okay. It wouldn't be fun without some unintentional drama here and there. But the blatant intentional team ramming needs to stop!
I get this quite a bit. Waiting until you’re close to going through a checkpoint and intentionally knock you out. Ram you in corners then block you in. But!! It makes it sweet when you cut the turn great and they slam into a corner all alone 😂

You should make this a segment on your channel. I don't even bother with FH5 MP anymore because of these types of players. It just takes the fun out of it. These types of videos are the only video's that get uploaded to the FH5 reddit. I'm so tired of this nonsense. Good for you bringing attention to this topic and doing it respectfully.
I hate seeing that people stop playing because of it. Hopefully this video has the proper influence on a lot of people. I stream Trial runs every week if you ever want to give it another try!
I have also experienced the ramming and sabotaging that has happened by teammates. I know a little tapping can happen in races, but the whole point is to work as a team!

2 weeks ago I had 2 guys stopping on purpose in the trial on my team and we lost every race. If got the gamertags and I reported them but I think I did something wrong
To the extent of stopping on the track and cutting the course is wild. I have seen a fair share of rammers not just from me but from friends and this doesn't compare

This the reason why I don't do the trials and I NEVER ram anyone on purpose and yes I may bump into someone by accident but I say sorry and move on and there's always someone who HAS to spoil it for everyone just because they want the new car in the festival playlist even though there's a chance that playground games may re-add it into the game in the future
Incidental contact always happens and that's okay - especially when you realize there can be a de-sync where players aren't exactly where you see them on your screen.
You shouldn't let people stop you from playing game modes though. I host tons of Trial runs every week (I stream here on the channel) if you ever want it done join up!

for me that did not buy any dlc, sometime the festival playlist will force me to do the trail in order to complete the plaulist

A couple of weeks ago I had a similar experience with the trial event. Race 1 was fine, the team won, no unsportsmanlike driving.
Race 2 however, for whatever reason 2 of the drivers were purposely targeting me. Slowing down to box me in, pushing me in to a wall and trying to make me miss checkpoints. I really didn’t understand why, I just wanted to get the 10 weekly points! I didn’t retaliate or anything, this just isn’t me. We also lost the race.
Race 3, the same 2 drivers were trying to do the same. As I was wise to it this time, I outdrove them on a corner and they couldn’t catch up for the rest of the race. They did try to ram me into a wall on the sharp corners by driving at me at top speed, but I was too far ahead. We ended up winning the race and the trial event!
I don’t know who these players were or why they were targeting me. The other players in the lobby were racing normally.
I didn’t retaliate as I wanted to complete the trial event. At the time, I hadn’t considered about reporting them.
I don’t understand why you would want to play like that, surely it can’t be fun knowing your actions are ruining someone else’s experience of the game. Players like these need to have a suspension.
Thankfully a lot of other players I come across in the trial are courteous, leave room on corners during overtakes and let faster cars past.

This is the exact reason I stopped doing the trial and online racing is because off people just like this. I hate the ramming and people hitting you just because they don't like when your in front of them. Dirty racers killed a big part of the game for me and I hope one day we can all just get along.

Happens all too often for me, I end up getting knocked behind and missing an early checkpoint but if they had just let me pass, would've won the trial. I am an honest racer and sometimes I'm sure certain things can accidentally happen. I try to help others with the trial after I've already finished it myself as well! Good job on this. i never knew there was a "Forza Code Of Conduct". i've been targeted by players (not sure who), who are hell bent on disrupting the game for others players and they should get banned. but what are your thoughts on blocking AI cars and letting other team members pass you and them? i usually, race ahead of the lead AI car, then block the all of AI cars and let my team members pass me/us, so we all win as a team. is that against the COD or not?
No, AI doesn’t matter. I’ve been doing that since the Horizon 4 days, bodying and blocking AI to ensure we win

I am still quite new to playing video games let alone just forza and I almost always get my husband to play the trial for me as it causes too much anxiety as I still use the auto drive to be able to handle corners and I always worry I will ram someone by accident with the auto drive, I don't know how many times I have been targeted to be contantly rammed repeatedly to be put into last place, even making us lose the races and like no lie I've never won a trial and I probably never will I'm not trying to actively take 1st place ever when racing in horizon open. I had no idea these were actual regulations and I have no idea why anyone would think that was fun to do on purpose.
Question to anyone who might see this far down, if you're female like myself and you have a feminine game name do you find it happens far more often for you then any male counterparts you know who play? Asking as it happens alllll the time under my game but very rarely under my husbands game, I will have groups of people target just me in the race especially when the only female name playing in that specific race, not just ramming but boxing in, pushing, forcing to miss check points, driving all silly buggers right in front of me making it impossible to even attempt to pass. This is not just the trial though the trial is one of the worst and it usually has to be played 4 or more times to complete but all HO can be just the same for me even with not trying to get on the podium.

I just dont understand why people think, your place position in the trial affects your '100% win rate' against AI. Its mind boggling. But i seem to remember ramming wasnt a huge issue in the older titles FH1 Through FH3.
Online races are horible unsportsmanlike at every single level even team mates ramming you just to bring you down so they can take one single place but then losing it again after one corner if you want to have fun don't do online races

Happens a lot. Can't really combat a clan, but when it's individual drivers, I will sacrifice 1st and intentionally block until we are both in last, going as far as blocking further till they quit. It sucks bc being a trials carry is a chill and fun thing yo do but oh well

I find it best to never do the trial on a Thursday and avoid anyone with several numbers in their name. They’re either a rammer or someone who drifts throughout the trial but generally can’t drive or catch the AI, they just fill the track with smoke.

You know.... kinda odd for me that, every week when i'm on The Trial, i was shocked by how am i get good players to get easy trials, with no rammers in sight (only dealt was that last player who is slow, probably either survive not last place lol)

This is why I hate the Trial and it should be removed permanently and replaced with a SOLO race type! I tried to do the Miata Trial this week and had to do it 6 times before I found a group that raced properly! Most times I was pushed off the course to miss a checkpoint…because these a$$holes race each other rather than the other team…and it causes the whole team to either lose or rage quit! However, I had no way to report these players because they didn’t show up on my xBox! They had to be players on console (if that’s a thing)! So…how the HELL does someone report another driver? Because I don’t know how!

Ya, I had problems this week as well. Took me three tries at the trial when usually it's a one and done kinda thing.
I was 50-0 on the street tunnel run A class Super Saloons Trial weeks back, so this was crazy to see!
Bruh….. who does that in the trial? Extremely scummy. Hate when people divebomb you. I had people doing that to me before I believe it was during European Automotive. Griefing in Forza is really stupid
Thank you for making this video. it happens every time. I think I also got hit by the same user doing this exact challenge. the user hit me from behind at a turn and then got ahead of me until few turns later when he spun out right in front of me and then me hitting him back as I passed him. Then in the next race as he was starting right ahead of me, in an attempt to get back at me, he did not move at the start presumably believing that I would just drive it into his rear end and then he would simply be driving it off after having break checked me, which obviously didn't happen as I turned just in time and passed right by him.

Hey, I think it’s great that you’re bringing attention to rammers and the Code of conduct. I don’t usually read it word for word myself On every game, but they’re all basically the same and every time I have read Enough to know that most of it is just about playing nice and being decent to other people And me personally I’m am a person that’s going to help the other people if I can and always try to go out of my way for other players! Unfortunately, I’m not one of the better drivers in Forza and because of this so I usually barely get the rewards when I try, but I’m not there as much for the rewards I just love the game and just want to have fun. It sucks that some people are there to ruin other peoples fun so thanks again for bringing attention to this, I’ve dealt with a few rammers myself, but I never remember to record my games!

That's the exact Reason why i give a hard F*** about the dumb Trial with all the dumb Players. If i do not have to do it i simply avoid it cuz its a Pain everytime i have to do it. I saw so many Modded Accounts on PC with their dumb a** Master Prestige Level 2999 BS Accounts. The Game is lame for a very long Time now so all i do is get the New Cars and after that i Rage Quit the Game cuz its better for my General Health and my Equipment.
Personally I love playing this game and 100% every week. Find it very casual, relaxing, and fun. This kind of stuff just makes me laugh, as you saw they beat themselves!
If I wanted to race with jealous, amateur rammers; I would race on GTA. It's because of those players; I almost always avoid doing The Trial.
I had similar happen in the most recent trial event, I was curios about what was going on as it seems to be a deliberate attempt to spoil the game, why? Spoil it for yourselves and spoil it for everyone this is how rules get introduced and tightened and take all the fun out of it. I had rammers in one of the seasonal championships few months. Just 2 cars deliberaly ramming you or stopping , even being last so your team wont get points. I sadly didnt know how to report them. Luckly its only once that has happened to me
It seems we always break an unwritten rule of online racing. Every vehicle must the from same generation. I mean, really, driving a ford gt40 in an online race with modern supercars and hypercars can lead to your own team turning on you.
Ive been rammed so many times, that after a while i not only started thinking it was normal but also started to think that i was the weird one since i never ram or interact with any other cars. So props for this video, i will definitely start paying attention to what my teans mates are doing and report them if needed b/c rammers have ruined the weekly trials imo, which is so ridiculous.

I've had my bad share of these trial races, one time when i was first, a guy got mad at me & sent me a message, called me a hacker & a cheater (there was no ramming) they were just mad they couldn't get first

I didn’t know this was such a big thing lately. Similar thing happened this week, different “group” but they stopped on track a few times to ram me (as the race leader) in the trial. I guess this is the new “winning” strategy…Kinda sad.

I don't think there should be ghosting 100% of the time, takes away from certain racing aspects. Learning to race clean and pass strategically can be part of the fun!

Trial is almost always the last thing i go for because of this... easier to just quit and try a new team... higher road kinda thing because theyll just get a new account, mod cheat, and do the same thing again...

Thank you for this video. Have experienced it on occasions. Have no issues with accidental collisions but there are those who keep ramming you so they can get ahead. Have lost a few trials because of that. One time I was in the lead and some idiot rammed me so bad that I went off course and landed last. We ended up losing the trial.

I don't know if they still moderate the older games, but a few days ago my friend and I were playing FH3 online and we encountered a player driving a traffic bus... as far as I know modding in vehicles like that is a bannable offense

This has been an ongoing problem for a while now. I simply earn enough points from the rally/hot wheels races that I dont have to rely on the trail points. Basically given up on it after all the rammers. I tend to hang back and block bots from making it ahead of actual racers but still get rammed doing that 🙃

I do the same, but it's all worth it as long as the team wins. I 100% every week, but don't have to deal with people like this as my stream viewers know the standard and expectation

I have never completed Trials because of this. I refuse to even play anything with people that purposely ram.
I understand. I forget sometimes how bad it can be. I mainly run with viewers on streams here on the channel, and no one has ever come close to doing something like this

I won't do trial at all because of players like that. I just as soon keep to myself as much as possible
