@@f4nste95”useless” is a very hot take. I consistently see reckless drivers with tons of penalties at the bottom of my lobbies, so something is definitely working.
to be fair, while most people will be gathering experience on how to drive properly, rammers are getting experience in being a nuisance. Try to ram people with no prior experience and you'll most likely end up worse or as screwed as the person you rammed.
why not add a function that allows players to vote for another player to be kicked from the lobby after they have received a penalty for causing a collision? Just include a small pop up on the top right of the screen and you can vote yes/no by using your d-pad or the right stick in a time frame of 10 seconds. If yes gets the majority then off you go, not everyone has to vote, since not all the players have been affected or have witnessed the incident, just a majority of yes votes is enough. This feature would be easy to implement, in contrary to a more sophisticated AI or a detection system and will get rid of rammers very effectively. That also means that autodriving to regain your safety rating is no longer a valid strategy for them, since they are at the mercy of those who’s race they have destroyed/impeded. You can additionally add a penalty to their safety rating in order for them to get into lower lobbies in the first place. Let me know what you think of that idea :)

They really should just implement the ghosting system from Horizon. I may not be as much of a fan of Horizon as I am of Motorsport, but that was definitely something that Playground Games did well. If two cars are within x distance of each other, with a difference in velocity of y, and their trajectories indicate a collision rather than a high-speed overtake, then just ghost the faster car. This would also eliminate the problems of backmarkers just parking in the middle of the road to cause as much chaos as possible.
I agree with this. Would make the online much more enjoyable. I love doing the featured multiplayer but find myself pretty burnt out with the shit show after a few races and go back to rivals. Seems like if you don't qualify in the top 5 you get ram jammed in corners by people who don't give a crap about their safety rating or using their brakes so they use other people as a brake.

it reminded me of the old days of TOCA Race Driver (the first one from 2002) online... it was so chaotic that it was fun to see the monster lag stopping players behind and teleporting them forward making the cars in front of them slingshot in such a way brutal that they flew off the runway.
Back when I used to play Forza Motorsports (2, 3 & 4) I ran full-contact lobbies with full damage on. That would deter most rammers. And when one eventually joined (Because there's always one), I'd make it my mission in life to keep that person off the track until they left voluntarily, letting everyone else get their race on. Sadly, most people assumed I was a rammer when they joined, because I love running grip-tuned musclecars (and back in those days, most people running muscle cars were rammers). But when they noticed my driving most people realized that I wasn't a rammer and stayed to play.
I played online a little bit the other day and got rammed, like a sly ram from the side a few times. I don't have years of experience with FM games but I'd imagine that there's not much you can do about it because of the mainstream status of the game. A separate ranked lobby with requirements would of course help those who need it, but other than that it's just a waiting game until a large portion of those players get bored and stop playing. The only other thing could be to have an invisible wall around cars (very thin margin), almost like a hitbox. So if someone gets too close, they are hitting that "wall" and it doesn't affect you at all. This could be added to casual lobbies but I'm sure it would not be easy in terms of the game design I guess.

It’s true to real door to door racing. Starts and into turn 1 are always cluster f. You can see it in some of my actual race videos in the real dodge challenger TA at vir and road america on my feed. The game is pretty realistic
It's been so long and neither AI has gotten good enough nor people have realized that PvP with randoms has always been the absolute worse you could go about in gaming.
One thing I gotta hand to Forza online, you can pretty much drive what ever car you want and you’re not limited to a few choices I don’t think I saw a repeated car this whole video
The sound is so close, yet so far somehow. Like it has the tone somewhere but not the pitch, and yet it sounds familiar. I enjoy it, because naturally I do, but it's intriguing.
Did a 15 minute practice session..qualified 1st..and in the first corner was sent to oblivion by a dive bomber... game is fun when you find a decent lobby
Ofc there's always one rammer around us, why can't they just implement the ghosting system that's available at FH5 now? It's probably won't stop rammer, but at least it's keeping everyone save from them
They should be able to implement in the the code that if you hit someone and stay on the gas like that then you are banned for 30 minutes. 4 seconds isn't enough to stop them and you lose more than 4 seconds of pace.
I wonder if realistic damage would fix this. Completely destroy there car if they hit you too hard even though it would piss the other person not at fault off it would deter people from hitting each other and the ones who constantly hit each other would get thrown in low safety rating races
I think Forza should have something like CSGO had when i used to play. They should let the players report the rammers/cheaters to others (with great reputation) players that want to, review the report (a replay) and decide if the reported player deserve a ban or a penalty for the acts (and then stay out of online races for few days/weeks/for good) 🎉 Ps: next race get the Carrera GT! 😍
Also modders are back in swarms too got into lobbies with people who were level 700+ and doing laps 3-5 seconds faster than possible it’s shocking it was good for a week but now it’s just the same old forza multiplayer experience
@@Spherz im talking about every other forza game lmao my bad for not clarifying. compared to every other horizon game with an lfa, the lfa in the new motorsport game sounds really bland and toned down
Make every driver a ghost for the first 30 seconds of each race. This would alleviate the first turn dogpiles and give the better drivers time to separate from the pack.
Never played but is there a system with a fair play ranking that could be used to play in races with other good drivers? I would be frustrated to play in these conditions 😢
It's very hard to race online with poor latency. Opposing cars fly across the track and it's impossible to avoid. I hope Forza will have more stable servers cause i hate knocking people off the track.

0:16 the bmw with decal from nfs pro street XD but playing like destruction derby
It’s true to real door to door racing. Starts and into turn 1 are always cluster f. You can see it in some of my actual race videos in the real dodge challenger TA at vir and road america on my feed. The game is pretty realistic
That exhaust upgrade really changed the sound of the LFA. Now it jus sounds like how it would if Yamaha didn’t get involved.
The worst part is you cant even beep 😢😢😢 you can only text chat in pain.
once the driver rating system works its magic the racing will get a lot cleaner (if your clean that is, if you ram you'll be stuck with rammers)
That is what I and many are hoping that in time players like this will not be placed with higher rated players.
UloTen, if you're reading this, you're an absolute and a certified s.o.b.
i use the dashcam view when racing so maybe that's why but 7/10 times in one of the first turns i end up spun into a wall.
It's been so long and neither AI has gotten good enough nor people have realized that PvP with randoms has always been the absolute worse you could go about in gaming.
One thing I gotta hand to Forza online, you can pretty much drive what ever car you want and you’re not limited to a few choices
I don’t think I saw a repeated car this whole video
Great driving 🚗 I'm sure u would have been in the top 3 🥋
The sound is so close, yet so far somehow. Like it has the tone somewhere but not the pitch, and yet it sounds familiar. I enjoy it, because naturally I do, but it's intriguing.
Did a 15 minute practice session..qualified 1st..and in the first corner was sent to oblivion by a dive bomber... game is fun when you find a decent lobby
that lfa is fast! I should finish that campaign lol
Packed grids. Standing starts. Opening laps can be a bit messy. But then thankfully its not too bad
Ofc there's always one rammer around us, why can't they just implement the ghosting system that's available at FH5 now? It's probably won't stop rammer, but at least it's keeping everyone save from them
That LFA can fly✈️, and that idiot got himself kicked out for ramming😂
that black AMG was a mean sounding machine!
Forza horizon already created a ghosting system for ramming in breaking zones. Why dont they integrate it into this game?
Bro has DRIVECLUB soundtrack on his outro. What an OG 🏎️
No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he *rubbed* you. And rubbin, son, is racin'
They should be able to implement in the the code that if you hit someone and stay on the gas like that then you are banned for 30 minutes. 4 seconds isn't enough to stop them and you lose more than 4 seconds of pace.
I was about to watch final destination but I saw you uploaded a video❤
This was really cool !
Still learning about the Motorsport lol been playing horizon 5 lately😂
I wonder if realistic damage would fix this. Completely destroy there car if they hit you too hard even though it would piss the other person not at fault off it would deter people from hitting each other and the ones who constantly hit each other would get thrown in low safety rating races
The first turn the right one where u slowed down just ease off the throttle it’s much faster
I think Forza should have something like CSGO had when i used to play. They should let the players report the rammers/cheaters to others (with great reputation) players that want to, review the report (a replay) and decide if the reported player deserve a ban or a penalty for the acts (and then stay out of online races for few days/weeks/for good) 🎉
Ps: next race get the Carrera GT! 😍
Your best lap was 14 seconds faster then anybody elses!
I nvr watch FM vids for clean racing that’s usually a rarity in itself lol. I just view them for the ensuing chaos that always erupts in them lol
At 04:10 oh yeah ! What beautiful stock car action…Oh no a DQ ! 😢
Wow, the LFA sounds amazing!
My name is also Bruce Wayne!
now this is a race between rammer and you
When this happens i feel its someone between ages 7-12 playing
I definitely would've pitted him at 2:50 lol
Also modders are back in swarms too got into lobbies with people who were level 700+ and doing laps 3-5 seconds faster than possible it’s shocking it was good for a week but now it’s just the same old forza multiplayer experience
Yep and X class are racing in A class lobbies , somehow snitched in since saturday, lol .
The LFA always sounding beautiful
it sounds so much worse than every other game
@@pkrskinkaphant4612Gran turismo moment
@@Spherz im talking about every other forza game lmao my bad for not clarifying. compared to every other horizon game with an lfa, the lfa in the new motorsport game sounds really bland and toned down
It really does sound pretty shitty in this motorsport compared to horizon 5 for example.
Bro FM4 LFA sounds better than this
Man you’re better than me cuz if I was in that situation that BMW driver would’ve gotten sent to the shadow realm.
Private lobbies with people who want good competitive and clean as possible racing is the only way!!
Still better than dropping into a PP race only to find the fastest guys glitched their cars into double the HP you have like every GT7 custom lobby.
my first race online today was really bumper cars
Make every driver a ghost for the first 30 seconds of each race. This would alleviate the first turn dogpiles and give the better drivers time to separate from the pack.
bro's better than me , i would've forgotten about the race and go out for blood to start murdering the rammer myself
Of course the main rammer is a BMW driver
Somebody rammed into me recently causing me to go off the track and spin out of control yet I was the one who got penalised 🤣🤣
Chisato will cry if she listen to the LFA's car sound in forza motorsport
i havent tried online yet, this isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.
Never played but is there a system with a fair play ranking that could be used to play in races with other good drivers? I would be frustrated to play in these conditions 😢
Hey just so you know there is an option to turn off camera shake in chase cam
Vote kick feature would be nice
I see that the game took a page out of GT7's attrocious penalty system and punishes the victims of rammers too, Glorious 😊😊😊
It's very hard to race online with poor latency. Opposing cars fly across the track and it's impossible to avoid. I hope Forza will have more stable servers cause i hate knocking people off the track.
I haven't felt that twinge since 2016...LOL
