    Hello. Just found another missing piece from the pattern. On the video you attached the strap to the D ring using a thin long piece of leather. It is not shown anywhere in the pattern to cut out and use. I was at the step of wondering how do I attach this end of the backpack strap to the body of the backpack (the D ring). Just went to look at the pattern. Not there...

    Do you put a lining in the main pieces and straps?

    • @VasileandPavel
      @VasileandPavel  3 года назад

      Yes, i line a lot but if you use the propper thickness for the main body and for the contrast leather, you don't need to line. I try to use 2-2.4mm leather (or lined leather) for the main body and 3-3.5mm for the straps

    Just bought this pattern today & started to watch it. The first pieces you stitch are the buckle straps BUT I see a green keeper for which there is no corresponding part in the pattern. Are you aware? Thanks. I’m trying something new....my granddaughters asked for a backpack. So to get it to the right size for them - I printed at 60%. I know the stitch holes are way off but I’m going to build a prototype before I build their gifts. Will send you photo when done...

      i never make pattern for those, you have to measure them acording to leather's thickness

    Скажите пожалуйста сколько кожи ушло на данный рюкзачке??

    • @VasileandPavel
      @VasileandPavel  Год назад

      o sa raspund in romana :). Am folosit cam 0.7 metri patrati . Din doi metri patrati ies cel putin 3 rucsaci din astia.

    At 16:16 you can see where Pavel attaches the strap to the D Ring already on back of the bag.
