Hi Wolfy 😀👋
Sending you love 😀❤
Thank you very much for your video 😀😀
Thank you very much
Excellent! As a female who always seems to be cold, I finally feel like I’ve received great information to mitigate this. Thank you for this content and all your videos. I learn so much.
Really glad the video was helpful
As a man who is always burning hot, I'm looking for a good woman who can cool me down :P
Lovely
👍😄
@John Khawlhring bro r u from North East India?

Last six minutes is pure gold!
😄😄 the best part 👍
Everyone is getting cold differently. You cant' really understand the thing from the internet. But the main thing is that there were no boiled hikers ever found on a trail. Plenty of frozen ones tho. Getting a sleeping bag withat least 10 degrees gap with the minimum night temperature expected in the forecast never went wrong for me.
Agreed. Although I did purchase a -18 rated sleeping bag that was barely comfortable at -5. That's a 13 degree difference. I was quite disappointed with it and consider this false advertising. In the real world -18 is a whole lot colder than -5. I can see people getting in serious trouble trusting a manufacturers rating.
Always warm 😄🙌🔥
False advertising is a terrible thing, i personally have used my specific-18⁰c bag and it was warm many times with no tent at -25⁰c by using a good pad Nd following three helps tips i mention
@@lessharratt8719 that's the whole point. you sleep cold. my gf sleeps in -10c bag at +5 and is totally comfortable, i have slightly less gap, but still, im a cold sleeper. i know people who are totally fine with +4c bag at -5.
love From India, Manipur
That middle sleeping bag could be used like a top quilt in a pinch.
very good brother❤😍👍
Thank you
Nice points on your choices.
I Got another camping trip coming later this year.
This video is excellent! Lots of great tips and information and looks at lot of gear, from someone speaking from experience. 👍🇨🇦
Thanks alot, im glad it was a helpful video
Once again, great video. Thanks for sharing brother
Awesome 👍
Thank you
Thanks, bought my very first sleeping bag, Cosmic 40. Learned a lot about down and the ratings, hence "cry once, buy once". After watching many of your videos I decided to buy a Outdoor Vital -15 bag. After researching soo many other manufacturers I found this company to be more cost affective purchase. Thanks and wish me luck.
Perfect timing for this video. I am just doing some research for my first winter camping trip. Great advice. Those are great tips and that big blue sleeping bag is wild! Thanks.
Really glad it was helpful
Thanks for sharing this great video, this is very crucial information especially with the horrible experience I went through in the freeze we had in Texas.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed
Awesome video Jeremy. 👍
Thank you 👍🏕🌲
Informational as all ways. Keep it up. Thanks
Thank you
Buy once, cry once…I live by that saying! Excellent review man, I have been binging your reviews lately. Learned a lot!
Thanks so much
Amazing how it all fits in there like that!!! I don't regret buying synthetic because I was too impatient and wanted to get out backpacking and didn't want to wait the weeks it would've taken. But now I'll be spending more money. lol.. lesson learned: be patient, buy once, cry once.
Its incredible the packability of 800+ downfill is
@@Lonewolfwildcamping just got back from a trip where the low hit 23° F, was warm with what I had but immediately thought "down pants would probably be amazing." So here I am returning to this video. Where'd you get yours so I can go down the potential rabbit hole?
Thanks as always Jeremy !
Thank you for enjoying
Exactly the video I've been needing to see as I expand my adventures into the Michigan winter season. Thanks 🙏🏼
Glad it was helpful
Dude, I love you channel 👍🏻 awesome job
Thanks alot
Love your reviews, you know what you are on about!! Best wishes from the UK.🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
Thanks so much , glad to hear this 🤙😄

"The less a man carries in his pack, the more he must carry in his head." - Horace Kephart (that's a lot of fancy gear you have there)
Fantastically useful video, Jeremy. We don't get freeze where I live (though 3C & windchill sure _feels_ like it🥶), but on behalf of the many ppl who do, thanks, you're a bro. 🙂
Thank you
Great tips and advice Jeremy. Thanks! I guess I've been doing it wrong. I was putting my Ridgerest pad underneath my X-therm. I'm really bummed out, last month I went camping for a weekend and my new X-therm Max mattress leaked air over each night and was flat when I got up in the morning. I guess I'll have to try that spray on soapy water technique to see if I can find where the leak is. It was my first time trying out the mattress. My original X-therm is still ok. Keep my fingers crossed.
Sad to hear your pad leaked 😪😪😔😪😔
Great tips. I'm always concerned about down. I produce a lot of moisture and worry that would compromise the down even if it is treated with a DWR. Can't beat it for packability and lightweight that's for sure.
Nate
Definitely light and packable
Useful and practical videos in life. I want to learn from you
In winter its takes me quite awhile to get warm when I go to bed once warm I can be in that position all night
It really helps to have the right gear
Excellent tips. I think checking the temperature forecast on apps like Accuweather or Tomorrow Weather (previously Climacell) can help campers to know what to carry to keep them safe and warm.
Thanks, I personally never trust weather reports
Great video I definitely learned a few new things 😁 Thanks!
Glad I could share
Beautiful 👀😻 💙🌼
Thanks
Awesome video - thank you so much!
👍 welcome
Nice vid. Could have compressed the pack 1/3 size again. I use a Big Agnes bag that doesn't have insulation in the bottom but it has a sleeve/pocket for a mattress. I really like that as I'm not sliding of the mat.
Always great info and ideas
Thanks alot
Great content and top tips 👍👍👍🇵🇭
Much appreciated
Review the alligator roll! I tend to lose my loft when I squirm, either on the ground or in a hammock. Which sleep system maintains its capacity with a Squirm'n Herman? AAHHGH!
🤣🤙🐊
Sold!
Do you have a list of manufacturer's somewhere?
Interested in researching some of the products but having to stop the video and google the products is kind of a pain.
Check out my gear review playlist
Super demo!!!
ive seen polar expedition people use the foam pan underneath the inflatable. i think thats better.
Both ways work, but one is more effective than the other
My Carhartt base layers both lite and medium base layers I have are 100% cotton
Very cool 👍
I wish I had someone like you for hotter weather camping 😑
Just ordered the Naturehike down pants. Looking forward to trying them out. I use the Paria 15° down quilt. Bought it due to budgetary restrictions at the time and it performs great. I’m currently in the process of upgrading to the Cadillac of quilts…the UGQ Bandit XL quilt with insulated foot box, draft collar, over-stuffed with Ultima 950 power fill down. What kind of booties are those that you mentioned?
The pants are awsome 😁🤙 the boots are from baffin 🇨🇦
35:30 Amen.
Is the sleeping pad 20" or wide 25" ? 🤘
thanks appreciate your rapid response. Good info by the way .lpodjb
Great info👌👌
Thank you
Maybe they could make some kind of inflatable sleeping bags so the bottom part of it would not compress.
Possibly

Good info. But the cost tho...
Buy once cry once
So when do we get the “win a weekend camp with the wolf weekend”?
Not likely to happen
🔥⛺️🔥❤️👋
What kind of sleeping gear would work for people over 6 ft tall?
Most companies have a long version of their sleeping bag
Is there a good winter tent for under $300
I love using summer tents for winter , much more ventilation and more packable also less expensive
Hi frand

#1 way to stay warm. Dont buy Klymit pads
Absolutely, I should have said that
