im doing a run where i keep double pain on the whole time and this guy fucked me up hard, since he has that status that lets him move twice he charged for +6 and did an attack that hit both party members and creamed me with a whopping 16 damage points.
So grubba used the gold star to suck fighters life and add it to his own and the gold star's power is to increase mario and partners attack and defense...... I see
i feel like the only reason they didn't make it an HP heal is because the item HP drain exists, and there are already two HP healing star powers. I mean they could have replaced Sweet Feast with something like that but, y'know
as much as it sounds horrible, if you look during the last cutscene after you beat him, only one person (Prince Mush) comes out of the star, meaning there's STILL tons of pretty much DEAD champions in there, so yeah, mario's pretty much using that power
I think what made this fight as easy as it was is because he spends nearly 2/3 of his attack turns using status moves and occasionally attacks, but even then he's surprisingly easy to superguard, I also like to use power punch to make it a more even fight
Your brother should just invest in BP, FP wont be an issue when you gain access to Flower saver badges....None of the moves in TTYD are really that FP hungry, minus smooch... The only reason a move should cost 10 FP or more, is if you're duplicating Fire Drive Badges

Even though this guy has more hp than the grodus, basically the main antagonist.
@@gzuzchristus4098 easier way would be peril partner or danger mario
Having multiple chances to attack in a turn is really cool and it's a shame Grubba's still a pretty easy fight despite it
Mario : so he boost up... Im gonna do the same i guess...
Grubba : (im so pround of you Gonzales)
@@Gogo-zv4hy he is so pround
Probably because he never actually attacks twice- he uses the extra turn to buff himself, then attacks.
I still don't understand ( from a story standpoint, not a gameplay standpoint) why there was an audience for this battle.
Pan Bat Maybe they want to see Mario kick Grubba’s butt.?
From a story standpoint there wouldn't be an audience in any battles except for the chp 3 fights
@@jolteonrpgplayer2751 from a story standpoint none of this actually happened, its a retelling which is why everything is on a stage.

His design fits marvelously his theme, also I like his name! sounds very special yet quite interesting.

@@marcosortega3350 I would imagine that if you were to be balanced with the leveling, Mario could probably have 25-30 hp by that point.
