I am not a snake lover, they scare the life out of me but, I have to admit, the Red Spitting Cobra is the most beautiful snake I have ever seen. I am 69 years old, and this is the first image I have ever seen of one. I watch Snakes in the City along with other documentaries about all wildlife including snakes but as I said, have never seen one before. Even I have to admit it is beautiful.
Red spitting cobras are absolutely awesome snakes, we agree! There are many other gorgeous snakes, check out our video about this stunning cobra! ruclips.net/video/tWYsr1M6sGk/видео.html
Love how gentle they was with the snake when using the tongs and hook, allowing it to find its own way to safety with just a little coaxing, the cobra seemed so relaxed only spitting the once before retreating to safety, amazing job
Thank you very much!!! We wanted to use the general behavior of many snakes - just going to shelter when they feel unsafe. If the bag is next to the wall they naturally go inside.

I watched till now about so many snakes but in my life the first time I'm watching a beautiful and deadly red snake ......to look like it's very awesome but it more dangerous than all snakes.......thank you for showing this beautiful video...
So, I have to agree with the comments about the beauty of this cobra. I have never seen a snake caught in a video so easily, so peacefully, or so quickly. No fanfare, noise, or trauma. Absolutely fantastic. The poor thing found a comfortable spot and people freaked out, except for you and the crew. Great job. Great rescue. Great channel. The temperament of the snake was a surprise too. I do have to say, that given what these critters eat, I think I would rather have the snake around my home than the nuisances that these snake find delicious. I mean it is not like the snake is going to eat my food and ultimately poop in it, correct? It won't bring in disease that can spread to me, correct? Might be worth it. Don't know though. Great channel!!!
