Cape malays aren’t necessarily Indonesian malays… they are a group of all of the slaves of islamic faith. They have Arab, Swahili, Indian, Malay (Indonesian and Malaysian) ethnicities . The Cape Malay Nederlandslied is a song influenced by Krontjong / Keroncong .
