Yet again another great entertaining video. A great start to 2022. Thks for grt advice on beers that you have done. I have enjoyed brewing some of the all grain kits you have reviewed. Keep up the good work
Happy New year gents...........Great idea to have an award ceremony and it shows the quality of some of the producers......Hope to watch more vids in 2022 and keep up the great work.....I'm going to buy a couple of the kits from WHS..... Cheers
👍 well done guys, I've been looking forward to this video since you announced it. I was surprised Wainwright gold didn't make it into the top three; but as you mentioned this would have been a very difficult category. Keep up the great work
Happy New year, guys a fantastic review,. Well worth waiting for thanks very much for the Award , to Dark Rock Brewing, you have done Dudley proud 👍 can't wait for the next Review, Thanks guy's
As expected, a honest independent review of some fine beers, True, not everyone has the same tastes and thats why i like your scoring system, would like to thank you for some great entertainment over the last few years and a big thanks to the Companies that supply you with these Kits and all grains, look forward to another top year, CHEERS
Absolutely brilliant idea, some great great kits and the muntons hazy ipa is my favourite ever had beer kit in the world ever. I applaud you for another great year of entertainment and information. I love bass and I love you guys very much cheers 👍🍻
Just started extract brewing, been doing cider kit brewing for a short while. Complete newbie but really enjoying the beer even if I’m not doing anything as sophisticated as all grain yet….however, just discovered your channels/vids and I’m loving the reviews. Really useful and fun so thanks to you both!
Too bad about the Gozdawa. Gotta be a problem with their process, or worse I suppose. I wonder what their dry malt extracts taste like. Cheers for a job well done by all the award winners. Happy New Year!
Well dome to D & P, watched all your videos over last 2 years. Looking forward to working thru more of 12 beers of partridge in 2022. Muntons Hazy up next, so far the juicy iIpa has been my Fav but all have turned out well.
A magnificent start to the New Year from the team at the D and P. Sage advice and bombproof recommendations galore - You just can't go wrong if you watch this channel! Have a cracking 2022 - I eagerly await every one of your uploads. In a world full of madness, they offer an oasis of calmness, serenity and tasty 🍺 beer.
I am tempted to do that Muntons Hazy... not really drawn towards extract kits that much since going all grain... but I could with this. I reckon you using Purebrew does help, daresay if folk had bad tap water and didn't treat it then you're going to get that tinny taste, but that's no fault of the kit.
re the Life & Death, 80 degree hop addition.... just had a look and that's for whirlpool. Simply, once the boil is over, cool the wort to 80 degrees then add those hops in and let them steep at 80 deg for 20mins... once that's done, carry on chilling it down as you would normally. Should get a good amount of aroma and flavour from the hops by doing this.
Always love these reviews and trying the recommendations. Top 12 list for the all grainer's is a great idea. Anyone tried the CrossmyLoof Brewery kits? HNY lads keep up the good work.
Nice work gentlemen. Looking forward to another year of videos. I'm enjoying the hazy IPA currently. Love your rating scale "it's drinkable but barely ... It's a 6 or 7 out of 10". What would it take to rate something a 1 🤣
Thanks for another great video lads, nice to see the Bass beer came 1st ( it's also my favourite). i tried to do my own version of ' Bass ' which was ready for Christmas - by messing around with the ingredients of another recipe and it tasted cr*p - so it's now down the drain. I am going to stick to the original ingredients from now on ! Looking forward to more taste tests this year.
I'm keen to brew this one. However, no bittering hops at 60 minutes. What do you think about those instructions? Did you stick to no bittering hops when you brewed this kit?
Thanks lads, I always look forward to your reviews, and like you I'm not keen on Belgian styles or milk stout. In fact I don't like any beer with lactose additions. So I don't think you should review beer styles that you don't really like. It's not fair to give a beer that tastes like it's supposed to 7 out of 10. We might not like that type of beer but if it matches the description it should get 10 out of 10.
Great video. Definitely helped the post Christmas-break-return-to-work blues
Brilliant video, watching with interest at the 2022 AG list 🍺
Very good reviews lads. Love the 8 sail glass, great brewery👍

Great review as always. Have made a note to try the Bass all grain kit!
Great video and the kit sounds decent, especially not having that hokebrew twang.
Cheers lads 🍺🍻
Superb guys , a Worcester hop shop order is on the cards , been a great year of reviews well done !
Cheers Tim, happy new year 🍻

As per instructions buddy
Is my math correct, of does the L&D kit @£41 for 23L = the equivalent to about 60p per 330ml cans worth, that would retail at £1.66p when on offer? 😳
Don't about your math sounds about, just under a quid a pint

But how do we know if we like them until we try them 🤷🤣
Cheers 🍻 happy new year
Happy new year guys. Glad to know I'm not the only one that doesn't like Belgian beers!
Cheers and happy new year to you 🍻
