I can't get over how good these LMDH cars look. Its unreal. I want one so bad, I can't say the same for any other endurance racer.
The Ferrari is an LMH though.

Lol, wrong. They made plenty of ugly cars and this car doesnt sound good at all. Modern restrictions unfortunately make everything sound pale including Ferrari.

Haha no, it's meh like most modern race cars. Go watch a video of a 333SP or 312P to see what a Ferrari LM used to be like. Forza Cadillac I say.

I’m wicked impressed by this car. Wasn’t far off Toyota in its first race. Made the other Hypercar newcomers look pedestrian. Guess that’s what happens when you can repurpose F1 level engineering talent for your new program

It was a bit of both to be honest, they have done plenty of laps and on the dry and from my point of view, they pushed the car (they were faster than the Porsche by miles) but I can totally agree that maybe it was not so fast. My last WEC race was some years ago 😅

If by "How are you able to attend this happenings?" you mean just know that they were there, well I checked what event was on the calendar and I see "Private test" with noise regulation on A which means "loud". So with that in mind, I assumed that something big will come 😝 And private test doesn't mean that it's not open to the public 😏
@@Geowin97CarChannel Nice video with a lot of nice places. Had also seen that there was a private test but for me Spa-Francorchamps is not close to home. But had heard through social media that the Ferrari and Porsche were present. So it was still worth taking a look 😆

We will soon see what it means for Ferrari to have banned private testing in F1. Testing on the track, the 499P will become a winner in a short time.
I've just recently found hypercars, and I love them! They're so cool. I've only really watched nascar my whole life. I tried F1, but it was way too boring. These long endurance races are so much better, and the cars are cooler. Great filiming!

Thats all well and good when the rooster tail is behind the ferrai. But what about if that was in front and it was driving in the wet in traffic? How will the driver perform?

I use a Sony AX33 (now you can find AX43 & AX53, it's the same platform) with a polarizing filter
499P & 296 GT3 shares basically same engine right?
So, how this 499P sounds quite good, meanwhile in 296 is sounds kinda crappy?
Different exhaust setup?
I never think turbo suppress sound that much, alot of turbo engines sounds nuts, but I guess the exhaust system & setup itself which make the noise loud or not.

THe only thing i see that needs improving, is the steering mechanism, the downshifting & braking. Because it handles the track beautifully, it just struggles at times to contain the power within. Ofcourse taking into account it's a wet day on the track. perhaps even the Driver was not having his best day testing. Just watch it handle through corners.

C'est vrai que le bruit est ce qui fait défaut bien souvent dans le WEC, maintenant, il faut voir le côté positif. Les constructeurs reviennent et c'est bien le plus important. La Porsche 963 testait également hier et je dois dire que j'ai été étonnamment surpris. De face, c'est impressionnant et le V8, même s'il est discret, reste beau. Bien évidemment, comparé à la Cadillac, cela ne fait pas le poids mais c'était pas mal. La Glickenhaus & la Vanwall font de beaux bruits. C'est donc mixte.

The 499P is fast, it proved it at Sebring. Their handicap as with the F1 Team, is its brainless, blundering strategists! Coming in on lap 5 in Sebring due to the sc caused by the 488 afcorse was sheer idiocy.
