With the air wrap it makes drying my hair so so so much quicker with the brush attachments than using a blow dryer and it also makes me hair straight so now all I need to do is use my hair straighteners on the end of my hair to shape it. The air wrap is not a lot of work at all you can change the brush head in seconds. It’s also so so so much better for my hair because I never use it on the high setting and it does the job. Is the curler wand (or any head) automatic rotary curlers by chance? ( ones that you do not have to physically wrap a strand of hair around and roll up to the crown of your head manually)🌹
Skip the drier nozzle, just use the soft brush first to gently blow dry your hair from a short distance and also brush it - saves time and effort. Then, when hair is good enough for making curls, use the curling wand nozzles. Totally skip the round brush, it’s better for volumizing short hair, not good for long hair, specially for those that are on the thinner side - makes them messy. So you only need 2 types of nozzles to get the same result. Don’t rush, be gentle and it will all pay back. This routine took me 20-25 minutes on my hair when they were almost waist length, definitely was faster than ever. Before AirWrap it took me 1,5 hours to makes curls like that (20-30 minutes to blow dry and smooth hair and then an hour to make curls with styling wand)

I mean I can blow dry, straighten, curl, diffuse, and blowout all with one tool which is cool, but the difficulty at first is intimidating for sure.
I would never buy the wrap, but the dryer works great. It’s the only dryer that has lasted me over 5 years while also being the only one that can dry my hair on the lowest heat setting. Instead of 45 mins to dry my hair with the previous hair dryers I’ve tried such as literally every version of Chi that’s been made, Ga.Ma, Bio Ionic, Rusk, GHD, Babyliss Pro, T3, Instyler, Conair, Revlon, and John Frieda, the dyson works the fastest and gets my hair dry without drying it out to a crisp. If I MUST use the highest heat setting if I’m in a rush, it still won’t burn my hair. I love it. I’ve found that it’s paid itself off since it’s lasted me so long. Instead of buying a $120-$220 dryer every 1-2 years, my $430 dyson is still going all these years later. I still have my ga Ma and bio ionic, so when my dyson runs out, I’ll get to see how long those really last.
Could you please explain the steps on the good side? The video goes a bit too fast for me. I have really similar hair texture to yours so am excited to try these tips 🥰
1. Silk hair wrap until hair is damp 2. Heat protectant 3. Hair mousse 4. Dry tilting downwards 5. Section hair and use the smoothing brush, then round brush then curling attachment with coolshock button to set the curls
y’all the point is to have one device that does everything. imagine spending $100 on 6 different things instead of $600 on 1 thing. it’s the same difference. everything you use has a learning curve. after awhile this process probably doesn’t take long to do quickly.
Yeah i got it for my birthday, and the main thing i wanted was tight curls, which i didnt realise at the time that the air wrap was mostly for volume and loose curls. So yeah was returned😅
Yeah, definitely not for tight curls! The volume it delivers is unmatched. A godsend for those of us with fine hair that needs shaping and bounce to look nice, but not curlicues and coils.
I used to hate my hair bc I suck at using regular styling tools. My hair is very thick and has so much volume that if I want to curl my hair it takes like an hour and even then it didn’t look good at all. It really affected my self confidence. But with the dyson airwrap I can dry&style my hair in 20 min and I absolutely love the look. It’s worth the investment bc it’s SO EASY to use, styles the hair FAST, my hair is shiny all the time without using any special product, and I get so many compliments for my hair now. It only took me 3 tries to learn how to use it well (and this is coming from someone who couldn’t figure out how to use a regular curling iron), all the attachments came with the set, and changing out the attachment takes only a second. This product literally changed my life and I highly recommend it!
I have it and it’s not worth it. Still hella heat and takes 3x longer to do your hair than with a normal curling iron AND they don’t stay as long as with a normal $20 curling iron so tf is the point man
Maybe try a curl cream? Idk if you can treat fake curls like real curls but if you can it might cut down on the frizz giving you more defined curls with less prep work. Also styling while wet might be better.
Y’all it’s expensive because of all the attachments. If you were to buy a straightener, a curler, a dryer, a frizz defused, etc all separately, it would cost around 600-700 pounds and also take up way more room in your house. If you don’t need all the attachments I would recommend buying separately, however you might aswell buy the Dyson if you need all of them anyway😊
Don’t be obtuse guys. Whether you spend 6 or 600$, proper technique is going to make your hair look better. If you don’t think this device is worth 600$, that’s one thing (I agree with you). But, everyone basically insinuating that they expect any hair styling tool (yes, even an expensive one!) to work optimally without using proper technique needs a reality check, I think.
The $600 is for the technology. If you want your hair to dry and style, anything works. But if you reaaally care about long term hair health and styling, you take your time with it and invest in quality products and methods. 🤷🏻♀️
With a $50 hair curler, you don't have to figure out anything coz it just do the work. I wanted to return my airwrap but it was a gift from my husband.
Ounce you get the hang of it you can have a fresh blowout in 25 minutes, yes it’s very expensive but it only takes a little to get use too then your set.
@@happydayzee after I’m out of the shower I normally do skincare and all that and my hair is wrapped in a towel for about 20 minutes, then I start the Dyson process: 10 minutes to blow dry my whole head, normally 10 minutes is perfect bc it’s dry but not 100% dry. Then it takes me about 15ish minutes to use the round brush on my whole head and then I’m done!
People criticizing this aren't viewing this as it is meant. I will preface this by saying that the airwrap is completely out of my budget. I wouldn't spend 600 bucks on a hair tool, just because I don't have that kind of money. HOWEVER, I think part of the appeal of the airwrap is that it is supposedly safer for the hair (though I have been using a GHD flat iron for the past 6 years with no issue, you have to be smart about using hot tools), but not necessarily faster. Anyway, I think the airwrap is cool, it's innovative and if it works for you, then that's all that matters. Every single tool requires some learning curve. I used to be awful at using my GHD, I had no idea how to properly prep and style hair for it to last, so I ended up with curls that fell in two seconds. Now I know how to do it and even if it takes me 30 mins to do my whole head, the style lasts until I'm ready to wash it again (or to wear it up cause it's dirty). If you have the kind of money to spend on it and it ends up working for you once you get the jist of it, then I think it's worth it.
Y’all people are just lazy. Put in the effort and you won’t have to complain about your appearance. You wanna roll out of bed 5 minutes before you have to be somewhere? Cool. But when you see a hot girl with perfect hair and makeup, she puts the time in.
ye, easy to put the time in when this is what you do for a living. imagine working 2 jobs and then tell me you have time for all this every time you wash your hair. what an ignorant comment.
You didn’t do this product any justice. It’s actually so simple and easy to use. The box also has pictures inside to tell you what tool does what but it’s mostly common sense what heads to use. This tool drys , straightens & curls your hair all in one. It does it in half the time for me & requires less heat which is better for your hair. You can also use it on the cool setting.
I tried my moms today and I have fine, mostly straight hair. Wasn’t impressed. There’s no tension when you brush it so a blowout brush is better. The smoothing attachment made minimal difference. The curls don’t stay. Made me quite of want the Dyson blow dryer but not buying the airwrap. I’m good with blow dryer brush and curling iron. Takes up less room as well.
These comments are so weird lmao. Just because you spent a lot of money doesn’t mean you don’t have to know how to use the machine to use it effectively. Thats like if you bought a 3000$ computer but didn’t even know how to use a mouse and then said it’s crap. Just because you’re not capable of using it to it’s full potential doesn’t mean it’s bad lmao
Who is getting people $600 Christmas presents. I'm over here like, " Sorry fam it's going to be the important characters only this year." Inflation got me giving my presence as the presents.
YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY BRANDED WRAPS. I got the target brand one for Christmas and it works amazing! It leaves my hair looking healthy and shiny. Totally recommend!!!
Wow, I literally don’t need this many steps or else I would’ve returned mine. 😀I agree you need to know the technique but seriously you don’t need this many steps. I use the blow dryer heat protectant and curl attachment! I think this video may discourage people
You use the curl attachment?! Is it like a rotary/ automatic/ electric wand or do you have to physically place a strand of hair and manually roll the wand UP to the crown of your head to achieve curls like the old school curlers!? I hope this makes sense 🥴🫠😂
Is the curler part an automatic rotary or do you physically have to roll your wand up to the crown of your head (with the strand of hair your curling obviously) I’m getting mixed reviews on this !
I could never get my hair to look nice until I bought the dyson. If you have gone through the struggle of severely damaged hair, the dyson is great to help style hair while not killing it. The price must have really gone up because I spent about half of the current price.
Personally, I like it but mainly because as someone who’s absolute trash at using a curling iron, this is much easier for me. Requires less technique but the cost could be lower. The price is insane.
I got a Dyson and had to play with it. I have a lot of fine, blonde, frizzy, medium-long hair. I discovered I didn’t need to dry my hair at all. I had the best results on towel dried hair. 40 seconds per curl. My hair had so much more body than with a blowout and curling iron in the same amount of time. They lasted the entire day. I didn’t have the opportunity to get the long barrels which would have made the process faster. It was malfunctioning and had to return it before I was stuck. They were impossible to exchange because there was no inventory. I got 20% off for opening a store credit card when I purchased it. I am not sure if I will repurchase the new model for full price.
So in other words:You gotta use all attachments in order for a good hair day. Now we understand why Dyson threw in all attachments. They had too in order to sell this thing. During testing phase 1 attachment wasn’t getting females to love it,they threw in 2nd attachment and saw a little better results but still not salon dropping hair BUT 3rd attachment pleased testers enough they loved it. So up the price a lil from 1 attachment price point to 2nd attachment price point which of course consumers do not know. So they think they are getting the air wrap plus 3 attachments for 1 incredible price.
It does not work on textured and frizzy hair that is just the truth. The air coming from the inside just kind of shoots all your baby hair up so you either can get it smooth but with zero volume on top or voluminous butfrizzy. NOT worth the 600 dollars at all...

Could you please explain the steps on the good side? The video goes a bit too fast for me. I have really similar hair texture to yours so am excited to try these tips 🥰
way too fast, so that it becomes annoying to listen too unfortunately
1. Silk hair wrap until hair is damp
2. Heat protectant
3. Hair mousse
4. Dry tilting downwards
5. Section hair and use the smoothing brush, then round brush then curling attachment with coolshock button to set the curls
So you're spending 600$ for what? You can do that with any brush and normal curler c'mon!
i’ll keep my $20 cvs hair dryer 😂
Not me telling my mom i want a dyson airwrap and said no its too expensive and she got herself a fucking dyson v11 for literally 800$ 🥴🥴
your natural hair is so prettu
Agreed. Why waste $600 you could save towards something important, when you already have great curly/wavy hair??
y’all the point is to have one device that does everything. imagine spending $100 on 6 different things instead of $600 on 1 thing. it’s the same difference. everything you use has a learning curve. after awhile this process probably doesn’t take long to do quickly.
Pretty sure it's the mousse that made all the difference lol
Yeah i got it for my birthday, and the main thing i wanted was tight curls, which i didnt realise at the time that the air wrap was mostly for volume and loose curls. So yeah was returned😅
Yeah, definitely not for tight curls! The volume it delivers is unmatched. A godsend for those of us with fine hair that needs shaping and bounce to look nice, but not curlicues and coils.
Yes, technique is everything!
Me with a super short pixie that I just comb gel through and let air dry binge watching all these videos.
Am I the only one who thinks she looks like Lana Rhoades?
i genuinely think the downward drying, cooling and mousse were the only thing that helped
Seen you for the first time and I can see you have natural curls so embrace them too! They look stunning!✨
Tension with the round brush does the trick for very wavy hair
I have dyson airwrap; and it only takes me 15-20 minutes to go from wet hair to bouncy curls.....🤷🏻♀️
Pls don’t put ur hair through the dryer attachment
Takes an hour at that price no thanks
She was showing how her curls looked an hour later not that it took her an hour
It doesn’t take an hour lol
How about she embraces the actual texture of her hair? Textured hair is attractive.
Wow youre gorgeous!!
The $600 is for the technology. If you want your hair to dry and style, anything works. But if you reaaally care about long term hair health and styling, you take your time with it and invest in quality products and methods. 🤷🏻♀️
Yep
I didn't understand the good side process, can you put the steps in points
Bold of u to assume that I have a Dyson at the first place
I really want one of them but they really expensive
Not worth it. I hate mine
there are dupes you can get for like 40$ , not sure if they work the same tho so best to check the reviews
OR you can put a bun in damp hair, 2 if you’re feeling frisky, & you’ll have gorgeous curls that last 2 days.
With a $50 hair curler, you don't have to figure out anything coz it just do the work. I wanted to return my airwrap but it was a gift from my husband.
I used my points Ulta and returned it the next day. I hated it. I keep seeing the shark dupe and wanna try it.
Ounce you get the hang of it you can have a fresh blowout in 25 minutes, yes it’s very expensive but it only takes a little to get use too then your set.
@@happydayzee after I’m out of the shower I normally do skincare and all that and my hair is wrapped in a towel for about 20 minutes, then I start the Dyson process:
10 minutes to blow dry my whole head, normally 10 minutes is perfect bc it’s dry but not 100% dry. Then it takes me about 15ish minutes to use the round brush on my whole head and then I’m done!
With the money I thought I’ll just have to sit n It will be done
they know who they target..!
How long did it last? I do the same steps but only last 2 hours maybe .. still love it
Appreciate the breakdown for people who may otherwise be clueless about the correct techniques to use this (aka me). Thanks!
She meant that’s what the curls looked like after an hour not that it took her an hour
1) this sounds like you're trying to convince someone that it's actually worth all that money
2) you are like criminally pretty wtf
Wow. She is so pretty!
3 things:
1) I’m broke
2) I hate that I feel like I have to become in expert in every aspect of my beauty regime
3) I’m tired.
Me with everything i buy when im using it wrong but don’t know i just throw it out
girlll your eyes are so mesmerizing 👀
Pls share the name of the heat protection product you used 💖
Pretty ungrateful to consider returning such an amazing present.
Your natural waves look so nice! They give me beachy mermaid vibes :D do you ever experiment with your natural hair?
It looks like doing the same amount of work and time if I were to use a regular hair dryer.
Never had one but the new version arriving tomorrow! Thank you for the tips!!
Just because you’re not capable of using it to it’s full potential doesn’t mean it’s bad lmao
considering how much these tools cost, they should come with a certificate for a free class on how to use them.
What hair mousse can you recommend?
Who is getting people $600 Christmas presents. I'm over here like, " Sorry fam it's going to be the important characters only this year." Inflation got me giving my presence as the presents.
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL WOW
A modern expensive way to get bald...
What products did you use?
It takes me 30 minutes to mine with the dyson, usually it takes 1 1/2 hours to do it because I have thick curly hair
Lol she didn't say it takes an hour she says after an hour, her hair looks like that ...
YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY BRANDED WRAPS. I got the target brand one for Christmas and it works amazing! It leaves my hair looking healthy and shiny. Totally recommend!!!
This takes so long!
You returned it, until you knew how to use it. Hmm...
It’s definitely a longer process but hair looks much smoother for several days
You’re using the dryer part incorrectly. You don’t put hair through the hole! 🙄
you actually can! It's a little hack a Dyson rep taught me
Is the curler part an automatic rotary or do you physically have to roll your wand up to the crown of your head (with the strand of hair your curling obviously) I’m getting mixed reviews on this !
I have super thin/fine hair and I LOVE mine. I could not imagine this being a good tool for someone with really thick hair.
Let me tell you something girl I’m jealous of your beauty I was never jealous of someone’s beautiful face you are so beautiful like so beautiful
All the people in the comments hating on it because they can’t afford it! Lol! I have it and it’s amazing
This is brilliant! ❤ thank you))))
I could never get my hair to look nice until I bought the dyson. If you have gone through the struggle of severely damaged hair, the dyson is great to help style hair while not killing it.
The price must have really gone up because I spent about half of the current price.
very helpful thanks!
Just seems like a lot of work
Personally, I like it but mainly because as someone who’s absolute trash at using a curling iron, this is much easier for me.
Dk but doesn't it seem kinda really damaging to hold a curl in wet hair for 40 seconds with a hot tool?
Literally ❤️😍
im gonna add a tip if u don’t mind don’t brush your hair when its wet it damages your hair dry it with a towel ☺️
You look like a bella hadid version but without surgery.
