Hi Jenny I have just started the scenic areas on my layout and your video has given me some good ideas. thank you and keep up the great videos Thanks again Dave
Nice video Jenny, and very informative. I am about to put together a similar low relief scene with my layout using the Metcalfe buildings. Those Bachmann buildings are a great product but as you said you do pay for the extra detailing, in Australia they are ridiculously expensive but much more reasonable in the UK. Great bit at the end by the way! LOL. Cheers, Dan
Dear Jenny I do like your videos and your sense of humour I have an n gage railway witch I hope to lay out in the spare bed room when it is painted I have subscribed to your videos I like your easy way of explaining I will keep an eye out for more I like your outtakes
very informative jenny,i know the what you mean about getting items into small spaces and using illusion to create an effect, you have done this well, very useful video, besides I always like to make jenny happy, she has a lovely smile,in peace.jpj
I find your video's fun and inspiring, it's a nice antidote to some of the ambient brewhaha of life... I'm returning to the hobby after about 55 years but at present I'm caught up building our house so space and time to indulge in model railways is very sparse. So I'm limited at present to a few feet of track and a few bits of rolling stock. I would appreciate your opinion of my attempts at weathering and detailing, I'm still learning so any advice would be welcome. I'v uploaded a video of my efforts on my channel. More trains going by jenny please, very relaxing after a hard day building.
so pleased to find your videos
nicely explained, well presented - just what i was looking for.
Sound advice as always, another enjoyable upload.

The flats fill in the peripheral area. The layout is for TRAINS. Let them be the focus. No one comes to see my buildings.
