    Hey Tobias, can you make a video on what exercises can be done at home for upper body strength using resistance bands and free weights? Like for the shoulders, wrists, etc.?

    • @tobiaswadenka8435
      @tobiaswadenka8435  3 года назад

      Yes you can also bend your knees in the beginning when you go up. That makes it easier and you will probably see, that you will be able to do them with stretched legs already after a few weeks

    If those push- ups are to difficult for you, you should put your hands on a higher position, whilst maintaining the correct form with your body. This way, you can keep the plank- form with your body.
    This is preferred over doing push-ups on your knees

    Could you teach me how to do better in returning the the opponent's return of serve (It might make you confused. Simply saying when you serve, if serving is the first shot of you, how to do better in your second shot) in men single, I often get unprepared. Thanks!

    • @tobiaswadenka8435
      @tobiaswadenka8435  4 года назад

      First important thing: take the shuttle high, so stretch out you arm at take it early, that gives you more options. Second thing: try to variate with the timing and the shots. If you do the same thing over and over again your opponent will get used to it. So try to mix up recieves where you take the shuttle as early as you can and put some speed in your shots and sometimes a recieve where you delay the shot a little to break the normal rhythm. Hope that helps =)

      Thanks! that's really a great way to receive. I wanted to know how to be ready and get back other's variated receive well?

    Hey Tobias, I am wondering, you are a Professional Badminton Player in Germany and Play the highest league there, (1.Bundesliga). Why don’t you compete with the players that play at the top and International: I mean the Players like Viktor Axelsen, Kenta Nishimoto and so on....

    • @tobiaswadenka8435
      @tobiaswadenka8435  4 года назад +1

      There is still quite a big gap between national top level in germany and international top level. Until a few years ago I played on the international circuit and I will also do that again after corona, but only smaller events. These guys you mention play on a different level than me ;)

    • @dorian_tihi5869
      @dorian_tihi5869 4 года назад

      Tobias Wadenka what do you mean with smaller events? But if you would want to you could also compete at Tournaments like the Japan Open or France open and so on right?

    • @tobiaswadenka8435
      @tobiaswadenka8435  4 года назад

      You have to be high enough in the world ranking to get into these major events. It works this way: Every tournament has a certain number of spots, let's say for example 24 spots in the maindraw and 16 for qualifcation, that makes 40 spots in total. Everybody can enter the tournament but only the 40 best players in terms of ranking get in. If you want to get into events like french or japan open you have to work you way up first and get really high in the world ranking.

    • @dorian_tihi5869
      @dorian_tihi5869 4 года назад

      Tobias Wadenka ok, I understand now. And is there a minimum World Ranking that allows you to play at those Tournaments? And which World Ranking are you now?
