Drift boosting is one of the basic abilities when it comes to horses in black desert online (same developer as crimson desert - Pearl Abyss). If you wanna see even more crazy horse skills, look at "bdo t10 (mythical) horses". They really know what they are doing when it's about horses
Other than the fact that this game is too good to be true, the only other thing i hate about Crimson Dessert is that camera shakes very annoyingly during combat, with a horrible motion blur (and i generally LOVE motion blur!) that prevents you from seeing anything. like who thought that was a good idea? Other than that though everything about this game is just dreamy for me as a fan of open world games like this... which makes me very suspicious that it's even real.
It seems to be sooooo far, tho. I'm extremely hyped too. However, kinda afraid because they're aiming everywhere, like dragons dogma, witcher, skyrim, Red dead, whatever. Hopefully it wont be another disapointment.

It kind of is though. All boss fights,grotesque characters, goofy weapons, and a nonsensical story. Challenging/annoying gameplay that alienates a large part of the video game fan market. The over saturation of Souls type games and live services games are why my Xbox gathers dust. I can count on one hand, the amount of games I’ve been excited about since 2020. Maybe even further back.

I love that miyazaki was like "I want to make a game based in my incomplete perception of european fantasy" and now it's one of the greatest genres, getting it's impeccable and cursed hands on any other games: 2d platformers, isometric arpgs, roguelikes, futuriatic games, alternative fantasy games, modern and ancient themed games. Biggest blessing to gaming up there with doom

To be honest Dragon Age - The VeilGuard reminds me of the 80's cartoon TV series Dungeons and Dragons I used to watch before heading off to school (now that would be an awesome game if they made that in the same cartoon style with a modern feel) I think going in this direction might actually rejuvenate the players for something a little different in the every changing Dragon Age genre.
I'm definitely looking forward to Spine, Khazan, and Phantom Blade Zero. Been following all of these games since their first trailers came out and haven't stopped. Khazan so far has done 3 in-person beta tests in South Korea where the devs are located and from those interviewed, it seems like it's gonna be a fun one. Just gotta work on fixing that frame rate more than anything. I'm VERY curious about Crimson Desert cause, every time I see the footage shown in the video I'm left wondering if this game will run great on the current gen consoles especially with the various graphical details and the abundance of particle effects on screen.

Crimson desert looks simply phenomenal I have Black desert and I still haven't played it but they play completely different and it doesn't look like you need to play the previous one to enjoy this one
John Carpenter's Toxic Commando looks exactly like the next game from the developers of World War Z should do looks epic, i seriously hope Call of Duty's zombie team took a long hard look at this, their round based 30 zombies limit is getting tired in the current year theres a massive difference in atmosphere : what looks like 50+ zombies on screen and 20, but constant spawning / de spawning and climbing into the map looks amazing

Kingmakers is literally the game form of discussions I used to like having with friends back in like, elementary and middle school, literally 20 years ago. "You can go back to any war and bring a modern weapon or object with you and can use it to help either side, when you going, what you bringing, and who you siding with. Explain." It was so much fun. Hopefully the game is okay.
I'm really interested in Avowed. I want to see how they take the CRPG world of Pillars of Eternity and convert it into an Elder Scrolls-like action game. It has been confirmed that it won't be fully open world, more like open zones like in Outer Worlds, and I'm completely okay with that.
I'd love to hear your take on the upcoming Dragon Ball Sparking Zero that's slated to come out in September this year.. I feel like you can even dedicate a whole episode to it as there hasn't been a sequel for this particular series since the PS2.. Phantom Blade 0 looks like it takes what Sekiro started, and Stellar Blade enhanced, and evolves the combat even further.
