This scene was always so brilliant. There are so many things happening with so many layers. It’s just so chilling to see how everyone is so nonchalant about such unspeakably heinous acts. Like the way Constance has a snicker in her voice about Moira being trapped there forever, the guy that killed Hayden without blinking begins digging her grave without a so much as a second thought, and Ben casually building a gazebo where him and his wife will enjoy sunny days drinking ice tea, only feet above his mistresses dead body. I remember when his mistress’s spirit came back she screamed at him something about enjoying lemonade above her body. The whole scene is just beautifully eerie, the music tops it off. It gives me chills every time!

Konrad Johnson Constance killed Moira because she thinks Moira was having an affair with her husband, Moira is staring at them and crying and you can see a maid's outfit (There has only been one maid murdered on the property, so it's safe to assume it's Moira)
She didn’t deserve to die but she did sleep with Constance’s husband once before he tried to force himself on her again, so Constance got rid of them both at that point
She was lonely and slept with a married man fully well known he was married and then just continued working and wanted it to be swept under the rug so constance killed her and swept her under the rug sweet revenge by constance
Hayden was a sociopath and manipulative. She willingly slept with Ben, she chose to keep the baby and interfere with his life instead of thinking about her future as a student. Moira was raped, she was murdered in cold blood and her future was stolen from her. One was innocent, the other was guilty
Man, Hayden was the most annoying person, in life and in death, and not content with manipulating Ben, she decides to harass and torture Vivian, a pregnant woman, alone, who was not to blame for anything.

In S1:E6 @ 4:27 to the end of the episode, Constance's daughter Adelaide tell's her mother that she is grateful for not getting her to the lawn at the old house because she doesn't want to be with Tate. It means that Adelaide is on the other side and her soul is free. Having your body buried in the lawn means that it is trapped there forever and that is why Moira is very sad when her dead body is buried underneath the gazebo together with Hayden's body because nobody will find out where her grave was. She tried to drug Ben's coffee several times and make him wake up on her grave inorder for Ben to dig up her body so that she will be freed but failed. In S1:E7, Moira suggested to Mr. Escandarian that he would have to dig up the entire yard to make room for a deep swimming pool.

Alex Johnson It's pretty clear that that's Morias bones, there are a few obvious signs and there is no doubt in that. For example, just the way she's looking at that, than the lace, and than 'blonde lady' telling her those words, etc. Also, finding her bones means that she'd leave. She is burried there, and the only one. Well, was. Others died there but had their bodies burried elsewhere. Have you ever seen ahs? :P I understand not understanding, but you're just hating around

I also realized that there WAS still a way to remove Moira's body, even with the pavilion/gazebo built: 1. Destroy the gazebo 2. Break the concrete underneath. It didn't look that thick of a slab on concrete and I'm assuming Ben was in a rush and spread it unevenly, so a sledgehammer should get the job done nicely or well enough to get to the dirt 3. Dig up the body and place it somewhere else so Moira is free I don't know if this would ACTUALLY work, but this is just my two cents

This scene breaks my heart. Constance is my most hated character. Even Tate, the mass murderer, has a decent quality: his selfless love towards Violet. What are Constance's decent qualities? None.
Her characters are Flawed and Tragic. They are (especially Constance) written very much as characters right out of a Tennessee Williams novel. Blanche Dubois, etc I can't believe that people don't see how sad, hurt and tragic she is? Jessica Lange is such a fantastic actress and her roles are played for one's interpretation. Yes, the characters she plays are all a 'mess' but all are centered on their own broken hearts.
Well, to give her the credit, she eventually at least proved to genuinely love all her children, even (and perhaps especially) the handicapped ones. It was nicely shown particularly on her relationship with Addie (although Constance was often bitter towards her while Addie was alive).
It maybe that I have some psychotic problems but I never brought myself to feel sorry for the mistress, infact when she died I was happy. She was just annoying.

For fuqs sake some ya'll need to slap on a life jacket and join us in the deeper end. The WHOLE scene is tragic. Yes, Hayden was a mistress, but in a power/ subordinate one. He was her professor. A good man, a good teacher would have shut that shit down. Same with Moira power/subordinate. Two women being manipulated/taken advantage of by men. Either character was "bad." Some side with Moira because they see her as a victim, but so was Hayden who I believe was suppose to be what very early 20s We see her as a "bad guy," until her death when we see moments of empathy and compassion. Constance is an evil self absorbed bitch, but my Gawd the kind we absolutely love. Love to hate that one!! A huge theme in Murder House is the loss (usually children) experienced by women due to the actions of men. The woman who shot herself in the head after murder of her son was action of a man (abortions.) Wife died in childbirth (action: raped by Tate) Black Dahlia (murdered by dentist by the perversion actions of a man. again power/subordinate relationship taken advantage of) There's themes here. Power/Subordinate relationships who take advantage of the established trust.

I don't understand that. Constance's toy boy was killed by Hayden in MH, then his boy-dahlia'd body was taken to be discovered elsewhere. Yet his ghost was still trapped in MH? And Chad and Patrick and the Harmon family were all presumably buried elsewhere, but their ghosts are all still trapped in MH. Why would Moira be free to leave if her body was found?

Constance is my most hated character. Even Tate, the mass murderer, has a decent quality: his selfless love towards Violet. What are Constance's decent qualities? None.
Most of Jessica Lange’s characters are like that lol.
Her characters are Flawed and Tragic. They are (especially Constance) written very much as characters right out of a Tennessee Williams novel. Blanche Dubois, etc I can't believe that people don't see how sad, hurt and tragic she is? Jessica Lange is such a fantastic actress and her roles are played for one's interpretation. Yes, the characters she plays are all a 'mess' but all are centered on their own broken hearts.
Well, to give her the credit, she eventually at least proved to genuinely love all her children, even (and perhaps especially) the handicapped ones. It was nicely shown particularly on her relationship with Addie (although Constance was often bitter towards her while Addie was alive).

Case in point I was just looking up AHS Cult on the internet just 4 fun, when I saw that somebody typed what Job did Kai's brother (Vincent) give him.... Now strap on for this one AHS fans it's gets good 🤣 Somebody wrote. Vincent paid his brother 2 sort out his case 🗃️ files which is how he found Ally (Ya mean when Kai broke into his case files Himself 2 target Ally) But I have to admit I have Never seen someone jam the subplot from Nightmare Before Xmas into The Plot from Murder House.... For fuqs sake some ya'll need to slap on a life jacket and join us in the deeper end. The WHOLE scene is tragic. Yes, Hayden was a mistress, but in a power/ subordinate one. He was her professor. A good man, a good teacher would have shut that shit down. Same with Moira power/subordinate. Two women being manipulated/taken advantage of by men. Either character was "bad." Some side with Moira because they see her as a victim, but so was Hayden who I believe was suppose to be what very early 20s We see her as a "bad guy," until her death when we see moments of empathy and compassion. Constance is an evil self absorbed bitch, but my Gawd the kind we absolutely love. Love to hate that one!! A huge theme in Murder House is the loss (usually children) experienced by women due to the actions of men. The woman who shot herself in the head after murder of her son was action of a man (abortions.) Wife died in childbirth (action: raped by Tate) Black Dahlia (murdered by dentist by the perversion actions of a man. again power/subordinate relationship taken advantage of) There's themes here. Power/Subordinate relationships who take advantage of the established trust.
