This is interesting. My texturizer was in 2015. I’m natural now, but my biggest issue is my Psoriasis. I had to wash my hair more often because my dandruff was bad and that would wash out the texturizer. Great video tho, your hair is long 🙏🏿🙏🏿
Youuuu shouldnt wash it… you should condition it, if anything co wash it … psoriasis = dryness … try some oils to combat it and dont use hot water, make it like, warm until it gets better
Yea using heat when deep conditioning is good. No, not with Scurl. The Scurl is a chemical so it can end up frying your hair and/or scalp if you try heating it.
I used the red extra strength box and it was curly the first 2 days then it started turning straight when I put stuff in it it started turning straight what do I do

Make sure you’re also using conditioner after you use it and moisturising properly. I also have 4c hair and I did it for the same length of time as you do I’m not sure what could’ve went wrong

You can do just the new growth or full head but if you do full head, make sure you coat the hair that you texturized already with a sheen or oil so that the new texturizer you put in doesn’t make it come out straight

My Type 3/Type 4 hair natrually looks similar to your texture. But my hair is very fine and much more smaller & defined. Like starter locs on 3c/4a textured hair
Don't be scared, if it takes your hair out, just put on a wig to hide the baldness, just don't go out on a windy day, or it, will blow your wig off, & show what the s curl did to your head.🤣😆Good luck.

You might need to use a different oil for your hair. The tea tree oil might not be enough for it

You use a leave in conditioner after you shower. The moisturizer spray is good too. You can use a leave in conditioner whenever your hair is dry

You can still comb it. You'll just have to wet it again to get the curls back
But other RUclipsrs says using a comb to comb the hair causes breakage like I’m so damn confused
When using a texturizer you have to comb it in to make sure the cream gets on every strand. You don’t want it to just texturize the top of your hair

Eventually it’ll start becoming less defined and when your new growth starts growing in, it’ll get less curly
