Leaving Waikaia, today we get to be the tourists, following on for the back roads tour of Southland. First making our way to Gore before heading through Mandeville and the Hokonui Hills, winding our way through Otapiri Gorge, bypassing Browns and eventually joining the highway north of Invercargill. With a weekend at the Burt Munro planned, we visit the home of the Worlds Fastest Indian and enjoy the Burt Munro beach race.
