We are in a war, when it comes to our borders. I am for immigration 100%. When it is done legally, recognizing and respecting this great nation . Laws are already been established for this process. We are definitely allowing our way of life to be destroyed, this is what these people are coming here for. I do believe we can absorb so many more, if done correctly and legally. This means contributing to financial systems. Not putting a hand out but a hand up. We are at war, but nothing that a few strategic placed guard towers wouldn't take care of. STOP the hand outs and let them carry the load as we all have for our intire lives!
It just makes me sad, since I know a few people immigrated to the USA that were screened, educated (civics and citizenship) and had to endure a waiting period to do it lawfully. Most nations of the world also have immigration laws that are strictly applied to achieve citizenship. Ours is now a political tool and football. Very sad.

I went to get my driver's license and I had to prove that I was. Another words I needed my social security card, my birth certificate, I could use my driver's, but I had to also use a bank statement to renew me CDL license. The other day a immigrant wanted me to take him to the DMV to get his driver's license, he wanted me to sponsor him. Never seen him before. He waited in front of a NAPA store even though there was a bus stop just down the street. He didn't need the ride he just needed my vehicle... I got to prove that I've lived here for 50 years, immigrants can just walk in and get their driver's license. What a bunch of b*******

Actually you should go back and chastise the Reagan administration. Reagan offered the first amnesty for illegal immigrants. Ronald Reagan was trying to gain favor with the Hispanic vote to offset the black vote which he knew was solidly in the Democrat camp.

It can... just not painlessly, nor quickly. It can happy "relatively" quickly.... but not quickly in an absolute sense. By that I mean instead of it taking another 20+ years by keeping it as a low-priority issue.... it can be resolved in 7-12 years. That's right... at least 2 presidential terms, most likely 3.... and that's if we keep it front and center.

Denver has set up a 5-mile-long migrant encampment, and won't do a thing to clear out the people who are breaking into businesses, pooping on the road, and leaving mountains of trash everywhere. Businesses can't even get insurance any more because of the constant damages.
