Remember KU preseason were ranked high themselves. They failed to develop early and lost games then that they wouldn’t now. Thats football. CU has their record because teams like OSU that they will beat next week have underperformed in the Big12. KU mid season found themselves and will win their final two games, bowl included. CU will go 1 and 1 over their next two games. They will not make it to the Big 12 championship.
I’m a KU fan and the first half of the season hurt, but watching what could have been in this second half of the season is sickening. It’s a different kind of pain. We might be the best in the big 12 the way we played the last 3 weeks taking down the top 3 teams in the conference, and we have a losing record because we didn’t come into the season ready. KU could easily be 11-0 right now, but we’re 5-6. For years KU was awful, but this season hurt me more than the 0-12 years. This year we had hope then disappointment, then our early season hope was validated but it was too late. KU had a chance to do something great, make the playoffs, and they fell down at the starting blocks. They got back up and ran faster than anyone else, but they ran out of track. They took too long to get off the ground and start running again.

I agree, I’m seeing things being called hate that have always been the way competition is. It’s not because they’re so great. It’s because they’re overrated. I’m a KU fan. I’ve experienced both. Either they hate us because we’re actually good, or many times, we were overrated and teams/fanbases wanted to simply expose that. It’s the latter with this one. It would be interesting to see a game between Oregon and Colorado. Last time, Oregon overwhelmed them. Another matchup between these teams could give fans a better sense of where Colorado has improved. Oregon would win again.
The result would be the same. Other than quarterback and receivers the gap between these teams is huge. Oregon is top notch good in every aspect of football. The Oregon defense cannot be handled by Colorado, the Oregon offense is much stronger than Kansas and Colorado couldn't handle Kansas.
So, the thing that I noticed was the vast difference in strength of schedule between the two schools. The Hawks will have had to play 8 of the top nine programs in the Big 12, while the Buffs will play just 3 of the top nine programs. That alone has allowed Colorado to look bulletproof at times. Sorry, it was all fool’s gold.

Deion is a motivator and hype man. He has others running the details of day to day operations to include on the field. I don’t think he’s a X’s and O’s mastermind. He has coaches on his staff that are though and they are carrying this program behind the scenes. Saban was a mastermind at coaching X’s and O’s. You never see Deion coaching the game. I don’t think he understands it deeply in today’s game, he knows DB well. Yes. That’s it. I say all of that to say this. Deion fits a team like Colorado well and should stay there. In the NFL you can’t fake it. You will be exposed and I don’t want to see this for him. Stay at CU where he belongs.

No hate I just want consistency. Colorado has lost 3 games obviously the big 12 isn't the strongest this season. Everyone insists Hunter gets the Heisman when loosing games not likely going to the big 12 conference game. Would Hunter put up the numbers he has if he was in the SEC or big 10.
