Heliotrope is one of my favorite flowers. I think it smells like vanilla. I always plant it on the deck so I can enjoy the smell. This year I started some plants from seed. They are very slow growing. I hope to bring them inside over winter. Zone 5
I have had a heliotrope standard tree form on the patio for the last 2 years and really enjoyed them. It has a pretty floral scent to me. One thing I was told was that it is very pet toxic so you may keep that in mind if your kitties venture outside.
I keep hearing good things about Heliotrope. It’s a must have now!

Heliotrope is nice. I have planted that in past summers. It’s nice because it might be deer proof and they are pretty and love the colors.

I have never seen it as a tree. How lovely.
