    In the first position, I thought escaping was wrong because of having read Michy's Opening Concepts, where I learned that giving the opponent the opportunity to unstack their heavy 13-point AND hit you while doing it, is a much worse offense than I would have thought. I was confused, thus, when the answer was to run by such a large equity margin... took me halfway through the video to realize Michy's advice probably only applies when you're escaping the first back checker, not the last 😅
