    I really love your style of painting. The end results are more random and life-like, not overly fussed with and natural. Very realistic! Thanks for the vid. BTW, I love your armor books - I have book 1 and 2.

    Joe Stricklin from Georgia here. It made my day to hear this was going on. I heard Wil mention it. Have not been doing much modeling though. Got a BMW R75/5 to redo. But I'll be back soon.

    Hi guys - make sure to click the image quality up to 1080p! I'll get the music sorted too, Spotify fought me today lol

      No music the best. It is always distracting. Except maybe if one is working alone, in solitude.

      @@alpaslanertungealp9563 You lost that argument lol...you're a few episodes behind and I solved it pretty quick. All the streams have a lo-fi background music and that is for me since it helps me stay focused on the demo tasks. Thanks

    When you do chapters make sure you start with 0:00 else it won’t get picked up by the software.. you started at 9:00 on this video.. matey..

      Thank you! I changed them and added the 0:00 per your comment. For those not familiar, down in the description area the blue "chapter" time stamp correlates to the live feed timeline in these cases (to help save in scrubbing to find them). Thanks!

    You mentioned white oil paints tend to have very little linseed oil, and therefore dry very fast. On a previous project, I was doing something similar to your effects, but a very light tone (maybe mixed with some white; I don't remember the exact mix) would NOT come off with thinner, even a few minutes after application. Have you experienced something similar?

    • @rs.p
      @rs.p  3 года назад +1

      Yes, light colors can stain on occasion, especially a dark color base matte paint. One trick is to pre-wet the surface with thinner before hitting it with white, etc. Then apply for your required effect (usually it's a diffused look with white). Work fast, blend right away and don't mess around lol -- I'll demo it next time for you! Great questions - thank you :)

    Where does he get his Leow Cornell brushes? Can’t find them anywhere.

      Hi Brett, I’ll try to find a resource. I believe they just went out of production, and making it hard to buy.
      If I can’t find them, I’ll add links for good easy to source replacement. I’ll talk about it in a new stream and give me a little time to track stuff down. Thanks!
