Thank you so much for uploading. im really thinking of purchasing this lens. My God it looks so good. Do you have any other videos with the GH5 + Voightlaner Lens?
hey man thanks! if you browse my channel there's quite a few videos about this lens including a review. I use it mainly on my G85 which has nearly indiscernible image quality to my GH5 in my testing so it should be a good representation for you. cheers.
I m new, a pure dummy but is it easy to take this beautiful lense with dji Ronin S to film? With manual and subject in movement, you have to make another focus each time? And for ISO, is it necessary to manually balance them or the ISO is automatically adjust on manual lense? I don't understand that. Sorry maybe I m an idiot with these questions. Sorry for my English I m French! Thanks a lot
@@impatrickt ahhh understood brother 🙏 I’ll head to BH when my GH6 comes in the mail! I am thinking about getting a set of these and the SLR Magic Micro primes. I have an S1H and S5 but this camera with pro res and the characters of those lens bring up it’s value when travel filmmaking.
@@amthemusic7632 if you have an s5 you’re gonna find the gh6 huge. I also couldn’t tell the difference between prores and h265. They even graded the same.
@@impatrickt I have an S1H as well. I actually was hoping the GH6 was somewhere in the middle of the S5 and S1H in stature. I shoot everything in prores externally so it suits me very well for my work flow by not having to carry a monitor all the time. I know this camera is not for everyone. Trust me I watched your reviews and you had very comendable and valid points based off your work flow. It is just for me the softening of that digital sensor by these lens and the Peter mckinnon mist vnd gives a unique look that I enjoy. Also the way I do short cuts with my S series cameras are a bit differnt than the usual. When it comes to cameras I look at the technology different than let's say comparing an old android to a new I phone. With the slow aging phone it makes life dam near frustrating for people but for cameras its all about the character and composition. The only thing that sets this camera back is the autofocus. The dynamic range is right were it needs to be in this day and age. I was able to grade some GH6 footage and I was very pleased with my results. I understand your perspective though trust me. You are one of the most realest and honest on this platform.
HIS STYLE! IT'S EVOOOLVIIIING!!!
Ah, love me some coffee b-roll! Only thing is, DEATH BEFORE DECAF! Haha, rad video, stoked to have found your channel. Cheers!
Sometimes regular coffee makes me way too jittery! Haha. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel!
Patrick Tomasso Haha, I definitely feel that! Just jokin around. Cheers!
I really like this lens! Would you recommend this lens as my main (and only) one?
Sebastian Buenaventura I got rid of it and switched to the SLR Magic 25mm. Basically the same for half the price.
Wow! Nice workstation!
Thanks Justin!
Amazing as always man! Need to get a Voigtlander!!
my fav lens!

JulienKay I wouldn’t use this lens with a ronin S - you’d have to set the focus motor up and its a huge pain.
@@impatrickt thanks a lot!
Hey I don’t know if you still have a GH6 with you but I would love to see your take on this lens with the Gh6
I got rid of this lens. I just didn’t need it.
