I have put a few thousand miles on the BMW R80 so I thought it would be a good time to put out an update video. One of the biggest questions I was asked in the original build video was where was the speedo!? So in this video I made sure to show my phone with the GPS speedo app that I use when riding.
Also, I received a lot of people asking how the continental tires were on the road. I am overall very happy with these tires, they look and feel great! I have no issue going 70+ MPH and they perform well in wet and dry conditions. #BMW #R80 #Motorcycle

Looks sick! Very well Minimal design. Bars are a little too high for me but other than that nice build 🤤👍
Thank you! I have low clip on bars on my K75 and K100 so I wanted at least one bike that didn't kill my back lol
Фееричный мот!)
Did you build yourself that one? That is awesome.
Yes, I built this bike. I have a full build video on my channel! m.ruclips.net/video/CetQ8shNDRc/видео.html
Love that bike man. Selling it or keeping it in the family?
Appreciate it man, it will be very hard to let go of this one but I may sell it later this year.
What are those blinker tail lights?
Nice looking BMW. Thanks for links. Did you use 420mm shocks for this built? Thanks
Thank you! Yes I used the 420mm
@@BayCityRestorations Thank you
Nice did you replace any mechanics in the motor? It sounds a lot more fresh now than before the restoration
None of the internals in the engine were replaced. I replaced some seals and adjusted the valves and then did full rebuild and tune on the carbs. It feels much healthier than when I first bought it! 💪🏻
Bay City Restorations any vids on the carb rebuild? Got myself 1983 R80!
😎
Bro please reply if you were to sell it how much would you sell iy
😍😍😍
Hi love the RUclips videos, I was just wondering I'm 21 I want to learn to build a motorbike but I've never done it before and I was wondering how old were you when you started? Thank you
Thanks for watching man! I started working on motorcycles from a young age but I didn't do a full frame up build until I was 20.
