So, I freaking love the transformation of the bike. I've made my living as a Welder/Fabricator I think I'm going to retire and start building bikes like yours with custom handmade sidecars for touring. I think I have a nice start...
@@joaoxufre9296 yeah? Thank you for your input, seriously! They all are 1980's- early 90's in beautiful condition. The utility sidecars are cheap aluminum diamond plate. I think brings down the value and beauty of the bike. Your opinion does make me think.
Awesome story man! I agree with the others. Do the correct maintenance to the bikes tires, fluid change etc. and then just ride them and enjoy them! Maybe turn one into a cafe bike so you have a nice selection of bikes to choose from on any given day.

I appreciate the guys artistic direction and the result is something to be proud of. At the same time we lose another classic BMW in the process. These days a lot of customizers strive for a situation where the car or bike can be put back to original condition and thereby preserve the future value. Having said that, I'm sure this dude thought of that and was willing to lose future value to have enjoyment in the present.
I had this situation with my 100 all original down to the bolts 1940 Chevy Master Deluxe sedan. It sucked. Slow, unstable, unable to just drive with modern traffic.
