there is a bit of "tip" against nasus post 6, don't engage him.
use your stun to tempo his slow and your w to tank some damage if he succeed at gap close.
anti heal is your best friend as armor boots but mercury is not to forget if the ennemy comp is mostly ap
your worst ennemy in this match up is the ennemy jungler so make sure to keep a great vision even before the 6 nasus powerspike
that's not some challenger tricks but it would help you if you don't where to start with irelia vs nasus
Its the same as Kayle, you play not against him but against urself, just push 3 waves recall and freeze, not much he can do

hey, nice video, really usefull, im main irelia and even when in some games i tomp lane its impossible to play the teamfights because they have something like a cho gath, a malzahar or al malphite that doesnt let me move through the fight, laning phase with irelia really is on how good u are with her and i would like to learn more of when i should play irelia based on the enemy comp more than the laning matchup, like, what type of composition should i avoid and what types of comps i should try to get irelia.

The darius matchup is actually quite good for Irelia. The key is getting aggressive on him, dodging his Q by dashing on him and beating him down. Irelia's damage is very frontloaded (with her spell damage happening in burst at the start of the fight) while Darius' is backloaded, so often you can kill him or superwin the trade before he even gets to the 5 stacks with Ult, and at that point you hopefully killed him or kill him with like 1-2 more autos.
I usually pick Irelia into Darius whenever i can.
Also the Sett matchup is really weird, if he can randomly E you out of Q animation your Q cd will not reset and you will hard lose and hard tilt xD
In low elo I agree but higher up good Darius players will actually save their q until you use yours and keep autoing you for more stacs and dmg and another thing is he can cancel your q with his e with good timing so if you ever try to q him without stunning him first he can cancel it and run you down another thing is if you ever push up against him or he gets a freeze you can never walk up since he can just use ghost and run you down and you have no way of keeping your stacks up so yeah in low elo it’s a good matchup but the higher up you go it gets a lot harder to pull off
@@Louvnine But then again Irelia is a mechanical champion and Darius is much easier, so in low Elo Irelia almost never wins.
Sure it's not the best matchup, but people /and me first when i didnt know the matchup well) really underestimate how much you can All in Darius and how much damage is fullstack irelia. IMO irelia hardwins early game but gets outscaled, once darius tanks up and he still blows you up with base damage you just lose.

I think they had a bad start, but I really hope FNC does well this split
We kinda have to hope for it. Otherwise its going to get very dark if G2 doesnt have a real contender that punishes them. Ofc. Rogue is looking good but until they beat G2 in a Bo3 or Bo5 its not a real challenge.
What about Urgot? I started playing Irelia on a regular basis recently and I played against Urgot. From my understanding I can kill him in early game as often as I want but when he hits mid/lategame he destroys me no matter how fed I was. But I may have been just the worse player of us both :D
it's winable for irelia, engage at 5 stacks and ideally dodge his stun

and if you are too lazy, there is standart: bork, trinity force, steraks, wits end,and optional (guardian, serylda\bc, antihealing)

Nasus u need to harass early without pushing to hard into him look for early kills. Tryndamere depends on whos first on the lane , if trynda i first on the lane start E stack under tower you winn with 5 stack if you land E and try W his spin. Rush tabies and try outplay him in minion wave lvl 6. Yorick is absolute free matchup since u oneshoot his golems with Q every sentense of the game . Garen match up is Good for irelia you winn it with 5 stack, just keep auto him. Try W his Q and run him down. Rush blade. Singed is Easy since irelia is sticky champ and Singed is not good vs sticky champs. Quinn can cancel your Q with valor. Play safe in till Lvl 6 after that you Will winn even if she has kills on you
