Thank you so much for taking your time out to make these awesome videos. Honestly it means a lot! And also if it's not too much to ask would you be able to go through the specimen papers that only teachers can access to from the website. We have recently done our mocks on them and according to peoples reactions I am guessing most of us didn't do too well :( Anyways again thanks for the help! :)
on minute 5:22 I don't understand where the Hydrogen actually came from. Because I would have thought there's a dipole-dipole in the H and O bond, so the Hydrogen would have an arrow to the double bond, and then a curly arrow from the bond between H and O to form a OH nucleophile.
Hi there (sir?)! You're sessions are incredibly helpful and really help with the learning and consolidation of topics. Is there any chance of you running a live cramming session prior to the AS Organic exam on the 9th of June?
Thank you so much for this video, it was so so helpful! Do you think you could also make A-Level Biology videos? Because I really need help with those..
Thanks so much for these videos. I really appreciate the time you spend making them. Please can you do videos going through the 2016 organic and inorganic specimen papers that are on the aqa website? That would be so helpful. Thanks
Do you write with a mouse in these videos? We have been having this debate in chemistry and we can't work out how you can write so quickly with a mouse. We've been using your videos to revise from for our A2 mocks next week!
+Ellie Williams Yep. It's a mouse. I have the steadiest hand in the north. I joke. It's a graphics tablet with a pen. Good job on getting your revision on!
Hi, Thanks for these videos! I am a private candidate and I am sitting the AS exams for the new spec in May/June. I have nearly finished the course. However, I am unable to find anywhere to participate in the 6 practicals which you require knowledge from for the written paper ( I will be doing all 12 practicals but in Jan 2017 after my AS exams). I will be reading the book and finding more knowledge on the practicals. But I was wondering if you could upload videos of the practicals taking place perhaps when you do it in school with your class or a video talking through the practicals incase I miss out on any key points when reading about these practicals. Thank you very much for these videos!! :)
hi sir, thanks for the reply to my last comment on ocr board. this might sound stupid and I'm sorry if it does but on a scale of one to ten how similer are aqa and ocr AS chemistry, ten being exactly the same. thaxs :)
+Obaid Zadran 8 or 9 I would say. The only changes in Year 1 are that mass spec has changed and they have brought the equilibrium constant down from Year 2. Then in Year 2, they have added a couple of bits on DNA but taken some stuff on complex ions away.
Hi! you're videos are really well done and professional. I just wondered if you're planning on covering AQA A2 topics transition metals and thermodynamics?. I find these really difficult. thank you!
+MarieSama Professional is good! Thanks! Yeah, I plan on covering all topics. Some may be covered closer to the exams than others, but I would like to have them all done this year!
+moneyhoneyhoney The A2 has to take a priority as you have no UMS from it at this point. However, don't forget the AS. You should find that studying a lot of the A2 topics has given you a better understanding of many of the concepts covered at AS.
i chose chemistry because my school doesnt have budget to do computer science (however they do have budget for art and other crappy A levels -__-) anyway I wasnt meant to choose chemistry nor i enjoy it and it feels like an alien subject to me :( do you have any advice for me? :'(
+AMD FANBOY Hmm, tricky. At this stage (provided that you are still taking it) you are just going to have to grin and bare it, I'm afraid. Put the time into learning and understanding the concepts and things should become a little more clear.
your videos help me so much for AS, even in 2022. I will forever be grateful ❤️
Dude today's the day and I'm still unprepared because of my avoidant, extremely rude teacher. Eliot is figuratively a life saver!
@@prajwalpingalihow did you do?

Love the videos for the new spec; is it possible to make videos going through the specimen papers by AQA?
yh
You have helped me so much

+Want Shum i did them and oh my! they were so difficult, hopefully they make it easier for the real exams.
+Andy Cole Yeah I know, hopefully but it probably will be the same.
+Want Shum Just did a specimen paper 1 - paper 2 will be coming soon.
+E Rintoul Thankyou

+Ellie Williams he is obviously using a touchscreen laptop in which he can use a pen.

+Yasin Koca Unfortunately that is not the case! See above... You were close though.

Just checking does the playlist for unit 1 and 2 cover all of the AQA AS syllabus?
Thank you so much for these videos!! They’re such a big help 🙌🏾 #lifesaver
im resitting AS so clean slate what do you think I would need to get AS and A2 for it to total out to a B?
+Zheran Bibi the as doesnt count anymore , its only the year 2 grade that counts for the new spec.
Hello sir. Loving your videos. Just wondering what software you use to do the writing.
Photoshop.
And also..does the videos cover everything needed for the.exam
Your videos are awesome. Please if you have time, finish the old chemistry A2 unit 5 for people retaking
+Pacman18996 Done another today on entropy.
+E Rintoul thank you, you're a great help

Like over skype or something
Naruto Uchiha Possibly, it's just a case of time with me and not having a lot of it spare! Email me on mrerintoulchemistry@gmail.com
I'm doing A2 and resitting AS how do you think I should maintain the balance between both.
+moneyhoneyhoney The A2 has to take a priority as you have no UMS from it at this point. However, don't forget the AS. You should find that studying a lot of the A2 topics has given you a better understanding of many of the concepts covered at AS.
Hey there ,love your videos, do you have a video that covers hydration reactions and the mechanism? ??
+Tom Foteinos I think I have... ruclips.net/video/xeoMZ2cGSEg/видео.html
