    If you paid extra for a balcony and then you didn't get a balcony room, I'd contact my credit card company because that may be considered fraud.

    I had considered booking this ship for a quick gettaway
    Customer Service is extremely BIG for me,
    Cleanliness is also.
    For these reasons alone....I WILL NEVER SAIL THIS SHIP.

    The way I would've gone to my credit card company so fast AND emailed the CEO or whoever handles their messages. I'm getting my money back one way or another. You handled this situation appropriately.

    Sorry about your poor experience. Thanks for the update. My friend and I had this cruise booked and I told her to cancel it. The reviews and seeing it was enough to say no way. But, thank you for taking one for the team. Btw- you look beautiful and I love your vlogs😊

    The fact that ONLY Maria can help you tells me they have a VERY small probably skeleton crew customer service team that does not seem well trained. That alone is a HUGE problem and honestly even makes me worried about their customer service team for their hotels. I hope you are able to resolve this issue with your credit card company or wherever you go to resolve it so that you can officially be done with it and put the bad of the trip behind you and look ahead to the next exciting vibes.

      Yes I agree with you. The team is probably very small, under paid and overwhelmed. I watched a video on the modern MBA channel about the business of cruises. They keep the prices low by hiring people in foreign countries that have a much lower cost of living. So for example, most the crew/team will reside in Thailand or Philippines with a smaller percentage of corporate roles based out of let’s say, Miami. I would argue it’s exploitative but I see the other side with job opportunities for people that otherwise wouldn’t have them etc etc. As you could hear on the phone, the person was not American. I doubt Maria is working out of corner office in Miami.

    I’m so sorry this happened friend! I’ve been thinking of booking this cruise. Just for a quick getaway since I live in Orlando. But I won’t be doing that now!!! Thanks for the info friend!!!

    I always love your videos! I wouldn't travel with that company with bad customer service. If they would do that to you they would do that with me. They don't seem to care about the customers at all. They have their reputation of being terrible and cheap and they are ok with it!

    BBB! Report them. My friend got MSC to refund our money for a brunch they sold us that apparently never planned on having.

      Cruise ships will never have to refund me bcus I never provide a card to keep on file.
      I pay only with whatever small amount of cash I bring.
      Cruise ship charges can become erroneous and problematic.

      YUP! I call customer service and give them 2 chances via phone. After that it’s a descriptive email and a report documenting said issue with whatever government agency regulates the service. People work TOO hard to save leave and money to plan their trips only for these huge companies to screw them over.

    It is an old costa cruise with plumbing issues and some passengers already got complaints. It comes a point that cruises cannot get fixed even with new furniture and paint .

    Bait and switch all the way. Call your bank and dispute the charge. They will reach out to them, maybe then Maria or someone else will call you before they lose that money. And if they dont care to fix it at that point, at least you have some if not all of your money back.

    Sad you all had a bad experience and it’s hard to get through to someone to correct the wrong. I see there is a way to contact them where you leave your name number and email. Start putting it in writing, Review them on Yelp and put it on there Social Media accounts if they have one.

    I remember back in 2022. My son tested positive for Covid at the port. Unfortunately, we were unable to board. It took weeks to get a refund. They started deleting my comments on IG and eventually blocked me.

    I don’t understand why people are questioning your review when it is CLEAR that they dropped the ball and refuse to make it right! Your content is great, so please don’t listen to the weird commentary about your honest review! I want to save money and take a cruise with my family like everyone else, but Margaritaville is not it!

    looks like the website now says the jr suite has 2 large porthole windows. No mention of a balcony. Guess they changed it because of you.

    Heyyyy. Was out for dinner so team replay. Yes. Was curious about the lack of balcony outcome. Glad they refunded the charge for the missing plugs and that shower mold was atrocious. Wow. A month and no 2nd call from Maria. Exactly. You are a customer. Shouldn’t matter that you’re a content creator. You are a paying passenger that deserves proper service. I commend your patience and calm demeanor even with the ones that can’t help you. Can’t say I would be as civil a month later. It really is a shame because your issues are not trivial. Very unfortunate. Thanks for the update. You may already know but J Shiplife, Your Favorite Couple and JJ Cruise were I guess the inaugural Islander. Maybe seeing their vlogs might sway you if you haven’t seen already; but totally get your point as a consumer and a human being that deserves respect and proper service and handling of issues.

    I hope people boycott that ship. My experience with Navigator of the Seas was horrible however your experience takes the cake. I truly hope you get an unexpected blessing for your troubles with Margaritaville. That was an unnecessary experience. Just tell the truth on the website. It sounds like a bait and switch situation.

    The balcony advertisement bait and switch is definitely fraud, and the mold is a HUGE sanitary hazard. Report them to the Federal Maritime Commission and the BBB!

    This is trash service. No email because of security purposes???? It is 2024, your business should have a working email for all employees and there should be a general customer service email…all of which shouldn’t be a security risk!

It doesn’t matter if you don’t like the cruise line…to each their own…I’m sure they don’t need your business with them…but if their sailings are pretty booked consistently…it means the business is working for them…your opinion and experience are irrelevant.
