Didnt think i'd find something that'd awaken the southern in me, but damned if im not rocking with his music while cleaning the house
I'm gonna have to play Fallout 76 with this going, make me chug cranberry shine and fistfight a Deathclaw
That's exactly what I thought hahaha
Dude bluegrass and metal go hard, the genre combinations are amazing
Hell yeah - introduced this to my brother in his 60's, and my Dad in his 80's - they both loved it!!!! ❤ This is the Musical Genre my Family and my Spirit NEEDED!!!!
This is a serious chaotic late night mood
Imma gonna down some good aged whiskey like water and go to town across the Wasteland in my Power Armor! XD
I found my cleaning music now. This pumps me tf up and will inspire me to manic clean instead of putting it off
AWESOME! Clean that house tf up, hahaha!
I’m just saying, all of these songs would make a killer fight music for a dnd game set in the Wild West
Next time Moonshine Jamboree event starts on 76, I'm playing this one
The algorithm finally did me good for once, the Southern metal head in me is most pleased. I'll for sure be showing this to the boys later, y'all keep up the good work.
Pirate ghost rider captaining his crew and his so called DEVIL'S DAUGHTER through the waves of hell to catch and fest on some spaniards
Every boss fight is happening with your music for now on
Brings me back to a Flogging Molly moshpit in Knoxville TN 2010
Sounds kinda like”Before the Devil Knows We’re Dead”.
Starts playing Fallout 76
Quick save (ya I know you can’t in 76😂)
Starts bar fight in Diamond City to this song😈😈
I may be a bit north of bluegrass country, but this still goes unfathomably hard. Makes me want to go for a hike and fist fight a black bear. God bless these mountains.
Your music has literally changed my life, keep up the great work and rock on
Rock on! Happy to hear that, brother!
I've been listening to your songs while writing an essay for school and I've never been more productive in my life
Me recomendó esto yt , es increíble está banda.
saludos desde Colombia 🇨🇴
Wild west is basically medieval america
Where are yall from? As a fellow guitar player and being born and raised in alabama, this music not only has my approval, but i sent it my daughter and mother as well. And mama says yall are cool so keep mama happy and keep making music! I craving sweet tea and catfish now. Thanks. 😂😂
Heavy rock with banjo and fiddle, the greatest 2 instruments in contry, I'm in love.
Another power slide down into the pit. Take another slash and dive right back in! Great job!
I have been slowly teaching myself to play the banjo for traditional bluegrass music. I have found myself in a slump and have been unmotivated to play lately. Your music has given me the boost I needed to continue pursuing my love for the banjo. However now I think I'm going to lean more away from tradition and more towards rock and power metal. Your music is life changing. Please keep it up and I can't wait to hear what you do next!
ROCK ON!
Ya know, banjo really is a killer instrument. It cuts through any mix and stands out like a bad-ass sore thumb, haha!
I say play whatever style/instrument motivates you. Traditional practice is important, but I've always found that jamming out was where I progressed the most on any instrument. Real-time problem solving and creative thinking just builds stronger pathways in the brain, I think.
Anyway! Good luck, brother - and keep on rockin'!
Y'all, this is making my lil Appalachian heart so happy you've got no idea. I had no clue metal and bluegrass could go so perfectly together, but now I'm obsessed. I cannot WAIT to see what new stuff you come up with, you've got a brand new devoted fan in me!
You know that this came from the Appalachian mountains because this is some of the hardest rock you guys have in your repertoire! Good stuff!!
I'm from the Appalachians and I can concur.
Yo that album cover goes hard as hell, would definitely wear that on a shirt
Never thought I'd need this kind of music, but I'll be damned if this doesn't HIT
You guys are next level. Seriously bad ass band. Love it!
Salut les copains et copines 🏴☠️!
Essa música cairia muito bem em um episódio de super natural

Yet another Absolutely Appalachian banger
Not only does all of the music go so incredibly hard, so does all of the artwork.
Niceee music
Keep it up great job 🇺🇲⛺🚬☕🪕
OH MY GOD FINALLY THERE'S FINALLY A BANDCAMP PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you guys!!!! At some point (not in the near future, because I need to publish other works), I'll eventually write a 3d-animated Sci-Fi about post-war New Appalachia Republic in the war against New England to gain the state of Alleghenia in the Pennsylvania War. I would very much like to license a crapload of your music for the TV show soundtrack, if that's okay with you.
That sounds freaking awesome! Great idea for a show. Rock on!
@@AppalachianAnarchy Once the time eventually comes, what's the best way to get a hold of you guys?
Rock on! Probably our facebook page - facebook.com/AppalachianAnarchy/
I'm not going to lie and tell you that I check messages often - but I'll definitely see it within a couple days to a week! Good luck - I think you've got an awesome concept there!
@@AppalachianAnarchy Unfortunately, I'm not on Facebook. Will there be an official band website?
Ah, gotchya. Probably a good call to stay off FB, haha.
www.mightyhappycrew.com/artists/appalachian-anarchy
This is the page on our label's site - if you message them, that might be the best way to go. They'll forward it to us, but then they're looped in as well. Thank you so much!
Well that gets the foot tapping.
Do you guys do your own art? Have an artist hired or is your art ai generated? Love the album covers!
All of the above! hahaha
A friend of ours who does artwork and marketing stuff for the TINY indie label we're under does the artwork for us. He don't charge us anything so he's got to go pretty fast on it, so he uses AI to generate assets and backgrounds and whatnot... then cuts them all up and adds hand-drawn elements. He uses illustrator to draw and photoshop to compile, is what he said.
We'll definitely refine our processes as we go, but right now this is a hobby more than anything. We haven't made much money at it (haven't even covered costs yet), so we're just having fun making music!
Thanks for listening to our stuff, its super fun to talk with people enjoying the stuff. ROCK ON!
💎I hope that they can hire some actual artists to make their album covers, I’d hate to associate such good music with AI generated nonsense💎
@@DiamondDude-so6dz What part of hand-drawn elements and human work in Illustrator and Photoshop didn't you understand? This blind hatred of anything AI adjacent is getting boring. You remind me of the purists back in the day saying that anything done on a computer wasn't 'real' art. Touch grass.
Heard this on Spotify and god damn this was so good! Random question unrelated. Do Y’all own the band kry of the kraken? Because I found them on Spotify and they sound pretty similar to your guys style, not to mention it looks like the same art. Just wanted to know if that’s Appalachian anarchy part 2 🤣
Thanks!
And great ear / eye!
Kry of the Kraken is a little side project of one of the AA guys. He's the main writer, and he writes a ton. KotK started because he was writing AA songs, but some songs just didn't fit in... sounded Pirate-y. KofK is not a main focus at all, but he puts those songs together too and we think they're pretty cool!
@@AppalachianAnarchy alright! Shit both sound fucking amazing, I’ll make sure I keep supporting you and the side gig 🤘
🔥 🖤🖤❤🖤🖤 🔥
🔥🔥🔥
Perfect! I'm fuckin' drunk right now!
I've seen at least one guy on reddit pushing his "debunking" of Appalachian Anarchy claiming that Appalachian Anarchy is AI generated music. personally I think his full of shit and even if his not who cares the music is fucking amazing.
Thank you! This music is not AI generated. I wrote it, and I'm proud of it. I've reached out to the fellow who made the "debunking" video to have a call and set things straight. Going forward, I'll be posting behind the scenes content.
Thanks for listening! ❤️ Here's some additional information on the project as well. www.mightyhappycrew.com/artist-faq/appalachian-anarchy
Дежурный комментарий для продвижения видео.
How did you mofo's get in my head and pull out my 2 favorite genres?!
When will you upload more live stuff?
Hey! Actually, fairly soon (probably)!
We're just getting into recording another batch of songs here in the next few weeks, and this time we know that taking some video of the process is vital. We've been posting material we got done months ago before we had ANY idea people would actually listen to our music. Its been a nice surprise, but we weren't prepared at all for it.
Anyway, thanks for checking us out - KEEP ROCKIN'!
@@AppalachianAnarchyif you want to quickly prove that THIS album is not AI, just release some stems from the album. Your future stuff might be human performed/composed, but just put the rumours to bed for this album and upload some stems.
@@AppalachianAnarchy I really hope so. I'm fully aware that humans can achieve impressive results with instruments but some of the violin parts sounds almost too fast and too accurate to be real. The music is entertaining as hell but there is a growing trend where people are using AI to create stuff, because they themselves are simply too talentless to create something of their own.
Quick question, would you guys mind if I had my friends make lyrics to your songs?
I don't see why not! I'd love to hear it too, cool?
Do you have any upcoming gigs, I'm coming to Kentucky for a few weeks, would have been amazing if things aligned.
The channel has commented that this a studio project vs a band that plays live.
Hey Krappman, yeah, @Boogerz2136 is right - we're currently a recording project, but hope to eventually do live stuff too... definitely a ways out though. BUT, you're going have a blast in Kentucky... so much good music out that way!
@@AppalachianAnarchy I've tried to find events thru internet, but I'm running on empty. Even looking for gigs in Tennessee and Illinois. Last time I came I saw Blackstone Cherry in Louisville. (but as a Swede I don't know of what underground alternatives there are) any tips for the area around Lexington (base for the trip).
Man, I don't know Lexington too well. But I bet Blackstone Cherry was a killer show!
I'm kinda surprised there isn't stuff going on though - I wonder if there's some great local bands you could catch? Or are you looking for bigger acts only?
@@AppalachianAnarchy anything good tickles my interest. I prefer smaller venues tbh.
Where can I get a CD of your music?
Hey Mr. Joe Dirt - unfortunately we're still in the process of getting funds together to print physical CDs. But we do have a bandcamp with mp3s for sale - appalachiananarchy.bandcamp.com/
All the money we earn on there is going into a pot to get some merch made and CDs printed. THANKS FOR LISTENING! ROCK ON!
What the frick is up Cracker Barrel!
I don't wanna be rude or anything but, can you explain why did i found a chanel with... Well... Pirate style and stuff so similar to this?
That's not rude at all. However, I don't think I know the answer to your question. Do you have a link to the channel you're talking about?
If you're talking about kry of the kraken, I think they're both projects by the same folks
Is this A.I. ?
www.mightyhappycrew.com/artist-faq/appalachian-anarchy
So it's MIDI. Gotcha.
Sounds weirdly AI generated. 🤔
Its probably because they use MIDI for the some of the fiddling and banjo, they said it in another comment thread.
@@VCoverAI 😂 Is this a joke sir? You have a RUclips channel with AI covers yourself and defend his AI music channel as beeing midi. Every proper musician knows this is AI. And who ever reads this and still really has no clue: Google the suno or udio (chatGPT for music) it's free and will create identical music to the AI creations of Appalachian Anarchy. 👍
Hopefully this helps clear some things up for you! No AI music on this channel. ❤ www.mightyhappycrew.com/artist-faq/appalachian-anarchy
disappointed to see ai art still being used for this after seeing comments saying you guys were looking at other means of creating art for your stuff. can't support this going forward ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
www.mightyhappycrew.com/artist-faq/appalachian-anarchy
so i dig the music, but i gotta tell yall smn. even if you are using one of the few ethically trained models on the market please get some better cover art! just using this cover art is going to drive away a significant portion of would-be fans that could have stuck around otherwise, but there's nothing to gain by keeping it, so why bother?
ai isn't the devil people say it is but right now the usage of it for purposes such as this is widely viewed as unethical bc (many of*) the models are trained without the consent of the original artists, so it's going to come off as a red flag to anybody that can spot it, even if they don't fully understand it.
if yall just can't afford an artist blink twice and i'll fax over my portfolio
Get over yourself, dude. Nobody cares about your narcissistic and invalid opinions.
Isn't the burden of ethics on the companies training their platforms without properly compensating the original artists, and not the people paying to use the software to help them create visuals? I think in general the public needs to push for regulation of those companies exploiting artists. If they paid an artist $50k to train their AI? Perfect. Why place the blame on the end users?

@@Boogerz2136 tl;wr i agree with your sentiment but the world is dumb
//
Those are all fantastic questions, some with complex answers that require context that is oftentimes purposely obfuscated. I recommend starting by reading 'Not a Zero-Sum Game: AI vs. Art' by Hana Lee, published in Uncanny Magazine issue 52. Notably, it will be at least 1-2 years before the legality of forcibly opted-in training using protected works will be clear. Personally I don't think AI is the demon everyone thinks it is, but I approach it the same as when I make the choice not to buy chocolate from Nestle and support child slavery and ecoterrorism just because for some reason there's nothing that can legally be done about it yet. I don't hate the person who buys from nestle, but i also know if they didn't it would be a positive, if tiny, change.
It's not the same argument, but at the end of the day end user choices do matter. Even if it doesn't matter to the companies or LLMs, it may matter to the smaller indie dev, artist, etc end user when someone that would have otherwise become a customer or a fan moves on as soon as they notice something off, or contribute to discourse without ever hitting play. The question isn't about art, it's about consent - the only question of ethics the end user must consider is the consent they are able to give, and who they're giving it to. there are options, the audience just won't know if you're using them!
At the end of the day, my only point was that humans often go with the herd, so if you have the option to make a choice that doesn't unecessarily divide your potential fanbase in the early stages of your career, why not?
edited for readability bc damn i tried not to give you a whole wall.
