For all you other tennis coaches out there, take a look at how Kevin explains things, a lot of you could learn something. Keep them coming Kevin, much appreciated.
Every tennis instructor has unique strengths and one of your strengths is logic... you make it so easy to understand WHY a person should be doing certain things and the rewards for getting it right!
Great videos man, your one of the best on RUclips
Best teaching videos for a serve I’ve seen
This guy's explanation is so simple and clear to understand. Keep making the good stuff Kevin. Thanks for your time and effort!
Sooo goooddd specially the pronation part makes so much sense
Wow, Kevin. This was a well crafted video with thoughtful attention to the important details. Thank you so much!
This is the most complete serve video I’ve seen. The things most people leave out, you did not. Thank you for the quality of this video. It will help whoever watches it and are serious about working on their game.
Kevin, Great video. I will watch this over and over till I incorporate all your serv tips into my game.
Excellent clear presentation you have confirmed my journey to improve my serve. Recently I have started to feel throwing the racket from a sense of being behind the ball and giving side and top spin. I like your reminder of being relaxed and the separation description. Also like your continental grip instruction with wrist in line. Also moving bit by bit to change grip as I am doing with forehand to more semi western. Will keep developing the journey is the fun part as well as playing better and winning more hopefully. Thanks
Awesome information!
I coach myself and I think Kevin has a very clear way of explaining things. Very good 👍
Great stuff. Thanks for making these.
Absolutely love your teaching methodology. Extremely well illustrated and clear. Thank you.
Man, you are such a great teacher.
Super well crafted video!
Excellent tips, thanks for your videos...
Pronation very well explained in a practical way. Nice Kevin, I love the way you explain things. Thanks for sharing.
Great ideas, great narration
Great tips!
Another good video Kevin! Thank you!
Kevin, your videos are concise, done at a great pace and filmed in 1 take!
Great job as always!
i haven't come across any coach who can put and teach the basics in such a simple and clear way you are doing it buddy.Excellent work .
This is incredibly clear! Thank you!
Great explanation !
This video contains all the elements for a good serve . I like separation, coiling and uncoiling, which I was missing . Great video . Thanks Kevin.
What brilliant and clear explanations. Common sense, practical and obviously a great teacher this guy Is. Thanks from a newbie tennis player.
fenomenal! thanks!
Excellent!! Very well explained👍Thanks
Great video!
Perfect presentation style and what a lovely time of day to record. :]
Outstanding instruction!!
Thank you Kevin, your video makes tennis so easy to understand.
Great coaching
Great quality of tips and videos, thank you! :)
Great techniques and teaching. Next time I play I will try to include some of them. Good point on no trying to do too much at the start
Great presentation from Kevin, as always.
I love your style and instructions, and I listen to a lot of coaching 🙂👊💪
Kevin thank you! Such a great coach!!

A. Lovely video with very logical explanation. Thank you
Oh, hello, Kevin!
I haven't seen you since your ET days; wasn't aware you have a channel of your own!
Nice video, mate! And I like your format; I like how focusses and no-frills it is!
Now, I'll need to go through your entire library!
Good work, and best wishes!
Awesome Kevin!
You are simply the best sir !!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Good stuff! Thank you.
So many great tips, the best being at the end when you say to do it a little at a time. I'm a classic example of someone who tried to do it all at once, got frustrated, and ultimately gave up. I'm ready to try again. Thanks!
Me too. Ready to try again.
Cant agree more he improved my game
So much I learned tennis just watching him at the age of 42, thanks so much , appreciate more serve and backhand coaching , my forehand has become better watching your videos and following your tips , thank you very much
You are great man !!!
Great video Kevin! You're really improving on your message delivery. The tone and pace is much more digestible than some over your older videos
Agreed. I do RUclips videos in one of two ways:
1. Blow the script while I'm recording, no matter how many times I rehearse!
2. Shoot the video while playing a recording of what I want to say into an ear bud. Add voiceover after the fact.
I just love the way you convey your information. Best I have seen in a long while.
Tons of this can be directly related to golf. Impressive.
Kindest regards Martin. Golf coach for 25 years😊
He's really one of the best teachers
Got it.. ill save this to my playlist..
Wonderfull teacher 💯
4.5 and found these Great tips, helped big time!! Thanks
Thank you. I like your channel. All the best from Poland
Kevin's the man.... Tips that are easy to replicate and instantly improve your game!
Very good video, thank you so much. Greetings from Germany
Great explanation. I've noticed that many players have a difficult time understanding the difference in producing force and generating speed.
Just to reinforce your point on flat serves have spin... sampras hit 2500 rpms on his flat seece
I took your racket face tip to a friend who always stood 3' behind the baseline to serve. His serve toss wasn't far forward enough and made him hit with a more open racket face. I moved him up to the baseline and had him toss closer to his target. He thanks you.
Who was your coach dear. He taught amazingly. So we got u as our coach. Thanks brother
Great advice and as always very clearly explained. Its true that in a match situation it is more difficult sometimes to hit faster serves because of tension. When just practising its easier as you are much more relaxed. Any tips for remaining relaxed in matches ? By the way did you spend some time with Essential Tennis ? Glad to see you now have your own channel. Its very much deserved.
Excelent 👏👏👏
brilliant
Waho, i've seen a lot of great contents about tennis and yours is amazing. I can't wait to try the "spiking" and start to pronate properly. I already improved my serve a lot, thanks to TopTennisTraining and RacquetFlex, and I'm sure your spiking exercice and the "separated coil/uncoil" will take me to the next level. Thanks a lot and bravo for the quality of your explanations. Nico from France
Super Kev is back! 👍
your just the best
Great T-shirt! 😃😃
Thank your👏
Another great video, Kevin! Were you in Rome for the 2019 Italian Open? I noticed the t-shirt. ;-)
That is a great description of why pronation helps - your racquet goes faster than your hand! I didn’t understand that until just now.
So true. I've found that proper pronation has really added about 15mph to my serve.
Very good explanation about the serve. Thank you. Trying those next time on court. I am struggling with my serve just now. I started to play at age of 69 (now 73). Learning is fun, when succeeding. Serving double faults is really annoying. I knew all those different parts of serve you explained, but I need more focus to each of them.
wow. learning the sports at 69 is awesome 🙌
@@jnid1758 I taught tennis to kids some 15-20 years ago, but I really could not actually play tennis. That is why I stopped teaching. Now I have been learning from scratch tennis. Mostly with RUclips. I also started learning guitar playing and accordion playing (from zero). I do not need to make sudoku, when trying to learn bass and solo with accordion and same time trying to learn to sing (I have really ever been singing at all). 😊
My 26 years of taekwondo (teaching about 20 years) has kept me in condition. Hopefully this year 4. dan graduation.
Hi Kevin, I just playing tennis 3 weeks ago and I find your videos really helpful - many thanks for the great content!
Video request: will you be able to do a video on forehand drills that I can do by myself and with a partner?
things given you a great
Great shirt great video great life
13:15 legend has it, the ball is still flying to this day
Good tips. The best tip was #7: work on one of the six tips at a time. Tip #0, using your body like a whip, in conjunction with the relaxation & coiling tips, also a winner.
Hey Kevin, you should make a video on how to adjust, especially on serve. The motion is so quick that it is difficult to control or make an adjustment. Even further, any other variable like the toss makes it much more difficult. Not everyone is a #TossBot
Hi can you do a video on recovery? What to eat and any other tricks to speed up recovery thanks!
Can you do a video on the differences on the serves? I.e. Kick serve
Relax Relax so true
Great video conceptualizing the body as a bullwhip.
I cringe when a frying pan gripper makes that little down and up motion to "help" the ball toss. Worse, when their flat serve hits the service box wide/on the tee for an ace! :o
good stuff
I didn’t understand the “separation”, what does that mean exactly?
Pronate? I still didn’t get it. Is there another way to demo and explain please?
So EARLY!
the most important thing to do to get tip #2 is film your serve cause you are not going to understand what you are doing right or wrong just "making adjustments"
“Your Serve is A Wipe”…I know, that’s why I’m watching
My serve is a wimp! That's why I watch! Haha
It's hard to believe that with all these serve speed tips this guy and his students aren't hitting 160 mph serves. The fact is, he is missing the most important factor in serve power. Until he and the ever-increasing herd of tennis instructors like him realize this - all else is of little consequence. It's all about the physics.
You misspelled “whip” as “wipe”. Lol. It’s an easy fix.
REQUEST FOR VIDEO THAT APPARENTLY NOONE IS DOING…
PROPOSED TITLE: “WHEN You SERVE…WHAT are you AIMING AT?”
WHY WE NEED THIS VIDEO…
Because
I’m SICK being told something as painfully VAGUE as “toward the corner/body/T” - this is NONSENSE:-O…
ARE we aiming at a LOCATION ON THE COURT?
ARE we aiming at a POINT ON THE TAPE?
ARE we aiming at a POINT ABOVETHE TAPE???
YOU need toMAKE this video!!,
